“Last week, the 3 training and combat aircraft Su-3UTG and 25 of the deck fighters Su-3, which will be involved in training flights, were transferred from the aerodrome of the naval aviation of the Northern Fleet Severomorsk-33 to the Saki airfield. Also 70 servicemen of the flight and technical staff of the Northern Fleet's airborne fighter regiment flew to Crimea. He clarified that "training under the leadership of the air regiment commander Pavel Podguzov will last several weeks, during which 10 flight shifts will be held."
According to the officer, “after the end of training at the NITKA complex, the pilots will return to the place of permanent deployment and begin preparations for the flight to the deck of the Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union Kuznetsov heavy aircraft carrier”.
