Monument to General Chernyakhovsky to be dismantled in Poland

In Poland, the decision of the local authorities to dismantle the monument to Soviet General Ivan Chernyakhovsky came into force. Formally, the monument can already be demolished, reports TASS with reference to the Polish Press Agency.

Monument to General Chernyakhovsky to be dismantled in Poland

The decision to dismantle was taken by the authorities of the town of Braniewo at the request of the volost (commune) of Penenzno, part of it, where the monument was erected.

The opposition was opposed by several small public organizations and the Russian embassy. “Our decision was challenged by one organization, but from the point of view of construction law, it cannot be a party to the process,” said Branevo’s warden Leszek Dzong.

As the press secretary of the head of the Warmia-Masuria region said, the Russian embassy "in its letter stressed that it did not give consent to dismantle this object and expressed strong protest against such actions." According to her, the administration sent all complaints and protests to the capital, Prime Minister Eva Kopach.

The Polish Council for the Preservation of the Memory of the Struggle and Martyrdom, which, in accordance with the Polish-Russian treaty, is responsible for the preservation of monuments of the Soviet era, said that "the discussion has been exhausted."

Burmeister Penenzno Kazimierz Keido is satisfied with the decision made, and will soon begin to act, it remains only to obtain official consent from the Council for the Protection of Memory.

"Not a penny from the budget for these purposes will be spent," he boasted. “There are many willing and sponsors to dismantle the monument.”

“However, I don’t want to make an empty hole in this place, tear down the monument and that's it. It is important for me to use the elements of this monument for the construction of another monument that will unite us all, ”Keido said. According to him, “on the site of the Chernyakhovsky memorial you can erect a monument in memory of the victims of the war or in honor of European friendship.”

Help Agency: “Ivan Chernyakhovsky in October 1943 of the year was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union for his brilliant organizational skills during the crossing of the Dnieper and personal heroism. In 1944, at the age of 37, Chernyakhovsky became the youngest general of the Red Army. He commanded the troops of the 3 of the Byelorussian Front, which under his command successfully participated in the Byelorussian, Vilnius, Kaunas, Memel, Gumbinnen-Goldap and East Prussian operations.

18 February 1945 of the year Chernyakhovsky was seriously wounded by fragments of an artillery shell on the outskirts of the city of Melzac in East Prussia, which is now the Polish city of Penenzhno. On the same day he passed away. The general was buried in Vilnius on one of the central squares, and later reburied in Moscow.

On the outskirts of Penenzhno, where Chernyakhovsky was fatally wounded, a memorial was erected at the beginning of the 70s of the last century. ”

          Two old Poles reason:
          - Do you remember the film "Four Tankers and a Dog"?
          - Of course I remember, a true film, before not so much truth was shown about the Poles.
          - And what do you think, if we had two of these tanks, what then?
          - Yes, then we would have won the war without the Russians, and not only the Germans, but the Japanese would have won, you imagine, Polish tanks in the center of defeated Tokyo, both ...
“No, I think the Russians knew all this from the very beginning, and that's why they gave us only one tank.”

right. and now the Poles are becoming more and more logs, pseks. and themselves and voluntarily. maybe it is better to take the monuments to Russian soldiers in Russia and install them in the cities that were twinned with these ... with the indication - "saved from destruction in such and such a city in such and such a year" and it would be better for the Poles about our love not to tell Russia.

God is a judge for pshekam, and the embassy should have been worried for a long time, to dismantle and bring the monument to the hero's homeland, like many, many others, now they only shrug their hands. Another misfortune is a huge number of large and small monuments in the Russian Federation itself, at one time it was considered obligatory to have one or two or more monuments, and this is in addition to the "ceremonial-central" ones, now they are, at best, tinted for the holiday, but they stand and are destroyed.

It is impossible to become like barbarians, demolishing monuments we forget the history of the state. As for the Poles, these are people without honor and conscience. They forgot who saved during the Second World War, Krakow, one of the most beautiful cities in the world, how many Soviet soldiers died during the liberation of Poland.

In a mockery of the Soviet hero Chernyakhovsky, in Kiev, the "academy of zbroykh syl", somehow preparing punishers and amerov's lackeys, was named ... after Chernyakhovsky.
Ivan Chernyakhovsky himself studied in Kiev at the artillery school, (then it was the KVVZRIU, then - by the Air Defense Academy). There stood his bust.
So this beautiful building, which has stood for 100 years, built as a military (junker) school, was told by Kiev friends, it was given to some Ukrainian citizen.
The military was kicked out in a neighboring building, the former Air Force Command and Control Unit, also destroyed. The bust has disappeared

We must set Merkel on them. Let him demand from the Poles East Prussia and everything that was given to Poland as a result of the war. Then they will stop talking immediately. It is our leaders who lisp with them, and the Germans resolve this issue quickly and without delay. Then they will howl and run to Moscow. And we give them a big fig. And then we will laugh. With regards to wow-wow - I always do this with tovarischi, whom I do not understand: well, countries are competing who will demolish more monuments - neither he nor I can influence this process, and therefore his glances are from impotent anger and delirium about flags and all the more so about 12 years, the executions only wow wow and deserves, but the fact that Russians are being shot in Donbass - so the Russian Federation officially declared (through the lips of Lavrov: “At all levels, through the lips of the President of Russia, in other formats we say that we are for they have become part of Ukraine ") - that this is the territory of Ukraine and will not interfere in the process, moreover, any assistance to the rebels (except for official gum convoys) is suppressed at the border - as for me this means that the Russians in the Donbass were hung up in a state: they will pull out - good , no, so no (by the way, here it is stupid to condemn the position of the Russian Federation - this is a normal phenomenon in big politics), but to shame it is generally a hit - a smart guy 1000 km from the front line "saves Russia" and he undoubtedly knows better than me in 50 km from combat action ... there was simply no time to explain the obvious ...

Well, I don’t mind , only if it is reasoned and supported not just by words. You seemed to be adequate, and at least during the 2014 of the year your posts with sympathy for the Maidants and Banderovites were absent on HE. What happened Makarov? Now here is the indirect Russophobia and anti-Soviet appearance. I understand that it is difficult psychologically to arrive in the information field of Ukraine, where all the idols from conditionally favorite leading news to show business with which we learned Ukrainian TV with 1991, are now throwing mud at all Russian and Soviet. But there are some who resist. Hard to go against the system, I agree. I still remember your post 2014 of the year, about the desire to see the Russian troops outside the window, who will restore order in Ukraine. Sharia though sometimes from time to time, so that the virus Svidomo did not get to the brain. Nobody says that you become pro-Russian, and at least be a centrist. True in Ukraine, even the centrists have moved to the right. recourse

I do not understand the claims ... psheki what they want, let them do it in their country ... where do the double standards come from? I will now try to clarify my position. When they started to "Maidan" in Armenia and Ukraine, local patriots took an extremely clear position - Armenians, Ukrainians do whatever they want, they are "there", on the outskirts, let them sip the American world, we are not interested, they need it. .. And here in Poland, which is in a state of war with the Russian Federation, a monument is being demolished and everyone is immediately extremely worried about it ...

The simplest course, of course, is to abuse the Polish in revenge, we have memorials and monuments where the Poles squeeze a tear. But this is not our way, case law is the destiny of a simplified rational Western consciousness, we are Byzantines and we will answer by pausing not symmetrically, insidiously and without emotions.

The demolition of the monument to the Russian Hero who liberated the Polish city of Ponezhno from the Nazi invaders is a full-fledged "Casus Belli", a formal reason for the start of the Russian war against filthy Poland. Saudi prince and media tycoon Talal bin Walid announced Thursday that he is planning a seven-day trip to the Jewish state and urged all Arab peoples in the region to "strive for a peaceful, prosperous and homogeneous Middle East."
"All my Muslim brothers and sisters should understand that this has become a moral imperative for all residents of the war-torn Middle East, and it is the Arabs who should abandon their absurd hostility towards the Jewish people," the Saudi news agency Okaz quoted the prince as saying.
"My ruler, King Salman, instructed me to start a direct dialogue with the Israeli intellectual (community), to build friendly ties with our Israeli neighbors," bin Walid added.
The Saudi prince also said that he plans to pray at the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount while visiting the Old City of Jerusalem, the holiest place in Judaism and the third holiest place in Sunni Islam.
Bin Walid also mentioned in his statement that he hopes his visit will herald a new beginning of "peace and brotherhood" between Israel and its Arab neighbors, stressing the importance of promoting better mutual relations between the military and intelligence communities.
The date of the visit of the Saudi prince to Israel is not reported.

The Polish authorities are even afraid of dead soldiers and generals. We started the war with the dead heroes of the Second World War already in fact for a long time. It is depressing that the Polish authorities are busy fighting the dead and not what they should do - the development of their country.
The fact that the Polish leadership forgets or has already forgotten its history is sad, but any jerking in the direction of rewriting history could be attributed to the fact that Poland owes so much to its superiors, but only not a war with monuments, or rather with memory.

I won’t tell Kosciuszko, I don’t know. Still, the Poles with this name fought on the side of the USSR. So to the memory of those who died for a common victory, I would not do this, out of respect for the victims. But the place of the plane crash with the Polish president and company, I would clear of their monument. This is not a burial place, but a place of disaster, moreover through their own fault. Let them put it at every intersection, but in Russia they have no place. (Perhaps it would be possible to buy a monument from the lords and put it in the homeland of the general.)
