Bars-6 was developed in 2014 year by the design office of the Cherkassy Automobile Plant.

At the end of February, 2015, at the IDEX-2015 armaments exhibition, the corporation presented the Bars-6 armored vehicle model (an improved version of the Bars armored vehicle, with a combat module on the roof of the troop compartment).

The body of the armored car is welded, made of steel armor plates, angled. It is reported that booking a car provides protection against 5,45-mm and 7,62-mm ammunition. It is also reported that the frontal part of the car, including the roof of the engine compartment, provides protection against 7,62-mm bullets from firing at an emphasis.

In the sides of the fighting compartment there are two doors for the driver and the commander of the vehicle, in the upper part of which there is a bulletproof glass block. Windshield bulletproof, consists of two glass blocks. In the stern of the hull is a door for landing and landing troops. There is also a sunroof.

Probably in Kiev, candies, gingerbread cookies, cookies and chocolates do not have time to bring to the pastry shops.
All the maydauns and pravoseki are squeezed along the way, for the "needs of the peremogi". laughing

So we decided to update the vehicle fleet of the confectionery factory. From such a "heel" you can already steal it. laughing

All these "developments" are just a waste of an already small budget. It would have already been decided: either to launch the production of the tested armored car by merging with other factories or to score and purchase foreign ones. Development had to be done the day before yesterday, but now it is necessary to urgently start production having decided on the choice ( because I don’t see any fundamental differences). Otherwise, the soldiers will almost glue over the equipment with tin from canned food

Based on the specific power, it is possible to calculate that this self-runaway crew has a mass of 3,5 tons, while it is alleged that it has a reservation.
In general terms, I would like to know what armor is made of (this campaign is top-secret Ukrainian technology).
For comparison: Nissan Patrol does not armored at all; almost 3 tons weigh.

Normal budget police armored car. Similar do in almost every Bantustan having at least some industry. It is not comparable with our Tiger, but for beggars it is completely nothing. For the army naturally does not fit at all.

They were also redone from manufactured goods vans, which were transported to the confectionery shops by chocolates. laughing

Poros quickly cut through the "chip", why for the sake of the loot will "left" flow past the cashier? Disorder.
And that is why I "lit up" in my head the thought that the market of ersatz-armored cars should be tidied up under the hood.

And since only vans were available from the factory at hand, it turned out like in that song: "I blinded him from what was ..." laughing

But seriously, this ersatz-shushpanzer wheels are driven away from the fact that the massive armored hull, put on a frail chassis. Pay attention to the photo.
It seems that this pepelats was riveted in the transport workshop of the Roshen factory as overtime work, by local drivers led by the head of the garrison. laughing

By the way, whoever has to ride this pepelatse through the mud will really "sweat" because of the lack of mudguards (fenders) above the wheels.
Apparently, it was decided to save on them, since they were on the layout.
That's right, there is nothing to spend scarce raw materials in vain. laughing

This is some kind of miscarriage (another) - how will "this" drive along the broken-down front-line roads? Or is it a highly specialized vehicle for actions at the Donetsk airport, where the key word for the creators was still the word "airport" rather than Donetsk. Or are they pressured by pity, the soldier will not offend the poor?)))) Interestingly, if you fire a volley from the tower armament, the car will immediately turn over or will it fold first?

The number of developments is simply amazing, and ideas gush. But with the series, it’s somehow not set. Judging by the performance characteristics of the machine, it’s possible to drive gays in parades (and the nets on the side windows are used to prevent the scoundrels from scratching their teeth with polished nails). Overhangs and cross-country trash, any ditch and everyone arrived. The height in the side projection is a gift for the grenade launcher. Thrust-weight ratio without comment. In general, another masterpiece. Better in any way instead of something.
