Lithuanian Prime Minister Butkevicius said that Lithuania did not take a decision on the supply of arms to Ukraine

Lithuanian Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevicius said that official Vilnius did not take a decision on the start of arms supplies to Ukraine. At the same time, Butkevicius added that the Lithuanian ambassador in Kiev, who spoke about the “decisions taken” on 5 channel (Ukraine), “exceeded official powers”.
It should be noted that a few days earlier, the Lithuanian ambassador, invited as a guest at UkroTV, with a resounding surname for "Square" Yanukonis, said:
Such political will (about the beginning of deliveries weapons to Ukraine - approx. “VO”) Lithuania has, and the top leadership of the state has publicly expressed it. Some steps have already been taken by us, and we will continue to take them, among them will be steps towards the supply of various types of weapons to Kiev. More talk early, but we are ready.
It was this statement by Marius Yanukonis that provoked a sharp reaction from Russia, which accused Vilnius of pushing Ukraine towards another breakdown of the Minsk agreements. Now Vilnius has to change the rhetoric and hang all the dogs on Ambassador Yanukonis.
Informational portal Delphi quotes the Lithuanian prime minister:
This issue should be considered at a meeting of the State Council on Defense. So far I have not heard that such a meeting is organized in the near future. No one from the management can make such a decision without a meeting of the council.
