Children's Day: a holiday in the DPR and a “gift” from ukrovoyak
1 June is World Children's Day. This date is of particular importance in those parts of the world where children suffer not so much from social inequality and domestic violence, but rather from war. Because bullets and shrapnel are raining down on their heads, because they have to stay awake at night, sit in bomb shelters, lose their parents, become refugees. And it happens that they lose life itself ...
On this mournful poster are portraits of only a few of the guys who died in the war unleashed by the Kiev junta against the adamant Donbass. Different data is called - from 59 to 200 small victims. Much more injured, orphans, refugees. Those who are no longer destined to hug their father or mother, see their home, play with their favorite toys.
In Donetsk, Children's Day began with a mourning rally in the Leninsky Komsomol Park, next to a memorial sign that marked the Alley of Angels. This alley is new, it was created on the eve of the May holidays this year and is dedicated to children who died in the Donbas. So far, only a small granite stone has been installed there, but in the future it is planned to erect a monument in the form of a forged angel.
Speakers at the action, called “We Remember You,” said that the death of children in a war is not an accident. This is a deliberate crime of nonhumans who must answer before the court.
Photos of the most "distinguished" in the fight against civilians and small children of ukrovoyak were carried along the "corridor of shame" to the cries of "Guilty." The last volunteers carried the portrait of a pseudo-president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko.
The residents of Donetsk who came to the rally laid flowers to the memorial sign.
In the same park was a children's holiday. The children drew color crayons on asphalt the way they see the world. These were joyful pictures - houses, animals, suns ... Not without the exhibition of children's drawings.
In one of the drawings - a small child - on the background of the flag of New Russia. And this new state is born.
And, of course, a protest: "There is no war."
There was a festive ride on the Children's Railway (there are such)
On this day, many events for children and their parents took place in the city. A concert for disabled children was held at the Opera Theater. Here are the guys playing the melody of the song: "The solar circle, the sky around is a drawing of a boy."
But the most massive and large-scale holiday was organized in Shcherbakov Park. Festive concert, folk festivals, boating on the pond, the festival of soap bubbles, the distribution of ice cream ...
Attractions on this day were available at a symbolic price - 50 Ukrainian kopeks (or one Russian ruble). Many kids with their parents got a lot of fun. Here are just a queue on the carousel lined up is not small.
And there was also an exhibition of children's drawings ... One of the main motives of these touching works was the division of life into “before” and “after” the war ...
But she didn’t have time to get ready for the evening - the shelling of the Kiev and Kirov districts of Donetsk began. Many guys still wanted to paint on the asphalt, ride on the swings, just walk - but suddenly the whole city heard loud ominous sounds ...
The same thing happened two days ago - on the day when the students celebrated graduation. Graduations were overshadowed by shelling. Only a miracle none of the children was hurt. But each such action of ukrokroleley is the destroyed houses and infrastructure objects, it is a damage to specific families, and without that rather poor. It is fear in the eyes of children and interrupted joy.
However, the worst thing is that no one ever knows in advance what the outcome of this attack will be. As we know, the matter is far from being always limited to material and moral damage ... ominous sounds will go off, the guys will go out into the yards again the next day. But no one will return the killed Katya from Gorlovka. Nobody will return father to small Zakhar and Milan from the same family. No one will return the health of the crippled Van and will not resurrect his deceased friend.
Of course, it can be said in the West that the shelling of a peaceful city on Children's Day, on the first day of summer, is an “action of democracy”. The same “democratic actions” continue to be perpetrated daily by the militants, tied up by the West against Syria. And in the name of some kind of "freedom", children in Iraq and Libya - countries destroyed and "democratised" by the Americans continue to suffer.
Sooner or later, the children and their parents who survived in these wars will bill for such “gifts” to both Ukrainians and terrorists in the Arab world, and most importantly, the common owners of these inhumans. And it will be such a big “thank you” that the European and overseas gentlemen will not find it!
