Black and white of modern patriotism. A word about monuments

9

Everything that happens in our country causes mostly positive emotions in me. This is me about a common patriotic mood. But, as in that joke, there are nuances. And these nuances for some reason do not allow to sit quietly.

It has long been resigned to the thought that our country is a reserve of contrasts. And to measure canonically, in black and white, everything that happens is simply unrealistic. It is necessary either to expand the range of shades, or to accept.

So, the monuments.

The monument is from the word memory. To remember. There are monuments in every city. Beautiful and not very, majestic and simple, carrying a deep meaning and frankly stupid. I can do without examples, everyone will understand for himself what creations I am about.

Long before the 9 events of May, I happened to talk to one functionary from the city office. His opinion surprised me a little. Say, there are too many monuments. And there was too much money leaving the treasury for their maintenance. And in general, it would be ideal in each city to have ONE memorial dedicated to the Great Patriotic War, large so that the whole city could gather there for the event. And the rest is nothing.

Stupidity is obvious. Memory does not happen much. Especially in a big city. Especially when you consider that half a million Soviet soldiers died in the battles in this city. It is clear that this is just a private opinion. What can not but rejoice.

There are many monuments in Voronezh. And fortunately, both beautiful and majestic. This is me about the military, of course. I offer a small photo tour for those living far from our city. Just to appreciate how we honor the memory of those who gave their lives in our land.

While I was wandering with a camera, this man approached the Eternal Flame. Just stood and looked at the names. Perhaps his relatives are there. Not enough spirit to ask, to be honest. I was already leaving, but he was still standing. Perhaps it is for this that we need monuments ...

Chizhovsky bridgehead. More than 15 thousand fighters in this hall of memory

What pleased me, by the way, is the honor guards of 8-9 in May. For a long time this was not. We decided to return the tradition

Black and white of modern patriotism. A word about monuments
Memorial "Sand Log". This is our Babi Yar

New monument. Military postman

Chernyakhovsky Ivan Danilovich. Honored us commander. By the way, this monument stood in Vilnius until 1992. The Lithuanians, brutalized by "freedom", decided to demolish it, but we decided otherwise. Now here, on Chernyakhovsky Square stands

Of course, this is a small part. In order to show all our monuments, it is necessary to carry out a separate work in terms of shooting.

By the way, we have three Eternal Flames in the city. And all three are burning. As it should be.

About white said. We'll have to talk about the black. We have a place in the city where, by hook or by crook, they erected a monument to the first landing party. That is, Voronezh is the homeland of the Airborne Forces, as it is written on the monument. Absolutely true.

The monument is, of course, original, but, as the organizers from the paratroopers' community told me, the best of what could be installed. For many reasons that are not worth mentioning here, the story of stories the appearance of this memorial deserves a separate topic.

Monument set. Even with the opening of the date of the anniversary had. With the monument to soldiers-internationalists did not happen, by the way.

Naturally, the paratroopers immediately took up the use of this place. A whole alley of trees was planted, dedicated both to the participants of the first landing and the heroic paratroopers. And they plan to plant a few dozen more.

At the end of the alley, in the opinion of the organizers of the Airborne Troops Veterans Union, there was enough room for the installation of another monument. To whom is a silly question, of course, from their point of view, naturally, to Margelov. At least, then this alley would have acquired a completely finished look and would become one of the centers of both historical and patriotic ones. And I would use the attention of no less than, for example, a kitten from Lizyukov Street.

I am absolutely not against this modern cultural symbol, no. Kind and sweet Koshak is better than many modern sculptures and monuments in other cities. Fork, salty ears, queues of men in a public toilet and other delights from the culture.

But fate in the face of the city committee on culture ordered otherwise. And the end of the alley was crowned with a monument ... A pot. No, not a vessel. Mikhail Gorshenev from the group "The King and the Fool".

Again, I am not opposed to the fact that the fans at their own expense decided to perpetuate the memory of their idol by placing a monument to him. Why not?

Another question is where. In a big city one could find a place other than that. And so it turns out that on the one hand there is a monument to the first paratroopers, then an alley with trees, on each of which there is a plate in honor of whom it is planted, and the crown of everything is the Pot. But…

Undoubtedly, this is the height of tolerance: to arrange such a neighborhood: the soldiers of our country who died in the performance of their duty, and I'm sorry, a musician who bent from an "overdose".

Culture, as they say, rushing prim.

A striking example is when there is culture in the city, and there is a clear disadvantage in the culture department. Save - save, but multiply ...

Monuments is our story. Attitude to them is an indicator of the culture and education of society. In Russia, at least in some places we have problems, everything is fine, and God willing, everything will rejoice after 20 years of obscurantism attempt. Our neighbors have different ways: it’s enough to compare Belarus and Ukraine. In Ukraine, obscurantism is winning.

But fate in the person of the city committee for culture ordered otherwise.

The only answer is Roman - the fans outweighed the paratroopers with probably "green" arguments!
The bureaucrats did not have warred relatives, and therefore they are treated like that!
I recalled the attitude towards the Afghan warriors in some places:
What do you go here, demand ?! We did not send you there!
These are seen from the same cohort!
Literary jargon is not enough to express, and the other - the filter will not miss ... am

P.S. It must be said that in Kaluga, the Communist Party and the public with difficulty managed to defend the demolition of the monument to Lenin, under the pretext that it is appropriate to erect a monument to Zhukov here. But the inscription on the T-34-85 "FOR THE MOTHERLAND! FOR STALIN!" And this is before the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory. Aren't they barbarians. But how can we not lag behind Moscow, the Mausoleum is under the plywood and we need to bend.

Everything is true and concerns not only one city. but the whole country. It seems to be a culture, it seems to be a tradition. but everything is like that through a stump deck. The ideology is afraid of words in the Kremlin, and yet the whole ideology should be reduced to one to the preservation of culture and traditions.

Culture and traditions do not imply amnesty for the amnestied. Therefore, the inscriptions can be painted over and the shoulder straps of junior lieutenants can be attached to the children in the guard of honor. And more beautiful, and the traditions of selfless love for the authorities shone, and saved budget funds for second stars. And the meaning of actions did not appear in the brains of the actors. How do they know the alleged career of an officer awarded the rank of "junior lieutenant".

    Both are wrong:
    1. I was always against the monuments while the soldiers lay in the fields, for which my diarrhea rays from Brezhnev’s times, instead of huge concrete bayonets, such a machine as the USSR could dig out 70-80% of the dead.
2, Self-Deception "A monument is from the word memory. To remember." no, a monument is an indulgence, self-deception and protection of the authorities from the one who remembers, from the search engine, the classic version - "What do you dig, we have erected a monument for you, spent millions of thousands, and you all go and dig, but we have a sowing one."
3, I am in favor of a moratorium on new WWII monuments, until 90% of all remains are raised, until 99.9% of single graves are combed and transferred from fields and rural cemeteries. The data on the existing graves were collected and combed, duplicates were recorded, unknown, etc., but after that you can put it anywhere and at least in gold. Then you can calmly breathe out, that’s our duty to descendants, not to shrug off monuments.

In the meantime, I see no reason to be proud and enjoy neither the quantity nor the quality of the monuments. You should not deceive yourself, engage in self-gesture - "there is a monument, then there is a memory." The memory is not in the monument, it is in the head, it is in the shower. Well, they erected a monument, and then sausages are fried on it .... Take such a "roaster" to the Watch, show him a skull with a hole, and say, "You will still be fry?" I'm sure he will say no. Because for me this is the era of my grandfather and father, this is memory, but for him it is like the war of 1812 or the Kulikovo field. And in general, children often understand the lies of adults intuitively, subconsciously.
Our lies, of us, fenced off from them, perished and rotted for us in the fields, with beautiful marble and a bouquet of carnations once a year.

      I partially agree with you.
If the fighters found by search units are buried in the places of their killing, then in the west of the country there will be a continuous cemetery.
For this reason, the remains must be taken out and buried already near the ready-made monuments.
It’s not possible to find and bury everyone. It will be necessary to demolish the city, because the battles were fought not only on the ground, but also under it.
You just need to remember yourself and remind the children, and not only yours.
Thank you for the fact that we exist.
There was a plan Ost, there was a plan Unthinkable, etc. We must remember and read the right books, as Vysotsky sang about that.

It will be necessary to demolish the city, because the battles were fought not only on the ground, but also under it.

every year on the collective farm of Chairman N, for more than 70 years, in the spring, 2 events take place:
        - the tractor plows bones from the fields
-Chairman N lays wreaths on May 9 together with the pioneers at the monument to fallen heroes, names 35 by HBS.

you just need to raise as much as possible of all who is wallowing in the fields.
In Oryol from 500 to 1500 annually.

here listen to the 2 example
        -------
In three days we found three fighters - one was partially scattered by an explosion in the trench, from the second they found only the head, although they hoped for more. On the site of another trench, kindly indicated to us by a specialist, we stumbled upon Mosin's shot. He began to dig, at the bottom of the bone. With difficulty expanded, unlike Krivtsovo (digging up to now, according to some reports, up to 40 thousand killed stas57. More details http://www.geocaching.su/?cid=3440&pn=101)
with their almost mounted fighters and pits with dozens of fighters, one has to dig out here, with difficulty taking away the remains of each from the depth of one and a half meters. Then also dig in the pits behind you. Started with legs-boots appeared. Isn’t it bold for a soldier, even of the 43 year of the model of boots? Very rarely, newsreel boots, and so we generally lifted until recently, almost everyone in boots and windings. They pulled it out, hey, but here the heel is typesetting and even with a horseshoe, like German boots!
Below are a few fragments and a F-1 grenade with a bursting case - a fragment may also have hit.

A dozen oxidized cartridges for the PPSh lay under it, again the cartridge cases for the Mosin rifle, a mirror and a pocket knife fell out. Since it was clear that there was practically nothing else in the excavation and the chances of establishing a fighter were rapidly going to zero, I said in my hearts: "if only you signed it, or what. What if they suddenly steal it?" I rubbed one side - alas, nothing. Another - suddenly a surname! Petrin A. What a joy! Still, the surname would agree with the fighter and the part that fought here, suddenly someone lost or the fighter found him somewhere already with his surname.
After checking a few more points and digging up more exhibits for the museum, the next day we left.
Details of the fighter: Petrin Alexander Vasilievich, born in 1924 Was only 19 years old. Then I had doubts in the excavation that he died from a blow to the head - the skull bones were a little strangely parted. And they just haven't completely grown together yet. And the bones of the skeleton are fragile, fragile. Further: the platoon commander of the 9th Army Penalty Company of the 13th Army. There was a mistake in the WDS - a woman made a mistake by introducing the 8th Army. Where she got it is a mystery. After rereading the entire report from cover to cover, I did not meet the 8th Army anywhere. And the rank is junior lieutenant, here is the solution to boots with a stacked heel and a horseshoe. But how did he end up in the penal company, even though he was in the cadre? The only explanation I have is that there is also a type of personnel department in the headquarters of the Army, where all vacancies are flocked. And now the junior lieutenant Petrin is going to occupy the only vacancy - the ZKV of the penal company. By the way, the whole company died somewhere here in the fields, but one thing struck me extremely unpleasantly. If all fighters always have a place of death and primary burial - at least a ravine, at least a field, at least "left on the battlefield", then here all penalties have a bold vertical dash, one at all, from top to bottom. All. There is none of them. Forget it. And there would be soldiers in regular units, they would be buried at least on paper, sent notifications, but here they are not. As if after getting into a penal company these were not people. but no one knows who. Okay. He himself is from the Ryazan region, we will look for relatives. Now we will go further to check and raise the harvest.

          and whom do we choose?
Concrete bayonet for lard and marble or the fate of a person, for example, this 19 year old officer who did not even have a normal grave.
I now propose, first, to raise all, to identify, and only then you need marble and gold and well-deserved honors ...
Yes, and then you can explain to the children that these bones on the outskirts of the field are nonsense, they are an exception to the rule, and not our ordinary gray reality

The trouble is that some are looking for the dead, others are burying, others are erecting monuments, and fourth are caring for them. And the rest are laying flowers on holidays. What do you want the collective farm chairman to do, not search for agricultural activities, even if he wanted to nothing would have happened. About 35 years ago, near the Sugarloaf Mountain in Novorossiysk, I went with my dad and a friend in the forest looking for mushrooms. I admired the forest. In general, the forest is shallow. But in that place (I was not there before) there were beautiful tall trees. I looked at the tops and then dad said sharply, look under your feet! I lowered my eyes: bones, skulls, helmets peeped out from under the grasses. And ours and German. The overgrown grooves barely noticeably stretched. Dad said that it trenches, and here you could see hand-to-hand combat. We went quickly to the forest road, literally 50-70 meters away. That is, cars drove along, people walked. And we also left. What should we do? No search squads then, probably .Perhaps everything is still there. If black diggers did not reach, and maybe search groups.

In Novorossiysk, too, the front line passed within the city limits, although they know much less about this than about Malaya Zemlya. It passed approximately halfway between two cement plants. There is a large monument of the defense line and a "Monument Car" - a real car, caught between our and fascists. The car is just an iron frame, like a sieve, literally, such shelling was carried out from both sides. In this place along the Black Sea coast, the Nazis are further good never passed!

If the monuments are of little importance, why was I so offended by the monument to the "KOLKIVSKA REPUBLIC", created by the UPA in 43! My husband's grandfather disappeared there, who was wounded in Poland and was returning to Russia. According to the certificate of irrecoverable losses, he died on the same day Another person. We think Bandera tried hard. And they have a monument for that ?! And my grandfather is not even grave. And he was 33 years old ... And even if the remains were not even found, but there would not be this disgusting monument of the UPA ... And grandfather's surname is on the monument to those who died in his native village, and we bring him flowers there ...

Monuments on the central squares dedicated to the dead people should not be erected, they should be in sacred, secluded places. Because the energy in such places is oppressive, oppressive and the people do not linger for a long time in such places. Memory is in the hearts, but we need to think about the future. Grandiose-costly. in general, it is blasphemous to put it when the country is impoverished. And in Belogorsk, the Amur region, they erected a statue of the "Polite Soldier" for 4 million, where these were soldiers and where this city is, straight in psakovski - and laughter and sin.
