The reserve reserves will receive a monetary allowance in the amount of 22% of the salary by rank and position
The draft decree on the financial support of reservists who are in the Mobile Reserve of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation was signed by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. We present the text of the draft resolution entitled “On establishing the amount of the monthly salary to citizens of the Russian Federation staying in the mobilization reserve, with the exception of the period of military training”:
Set the monthly salary to citizens of the Russian Federation who are in the mobilization reserve, except for the period of military training in the amount of 22 percent of the salary for a military position, for which a citizen of the Russian Federation is assigned to a military unit (intended in a special unit), and the size of salary for military title.
At the moment, the amount of funding for reservists who are in the reserve is not clearly spelled out. There is a clause in the law that financing should be not less than 10% of salary by position and title. Most often, it was 10% (that is, the minimum) that was paid.
The new project is aimed at preserving the mobilization human reserve, on which the leadership of the Russian Defense Ministry is making a serious stake.
The mobilization reserve consists of persons who have completed military service and enrolled in the formation on a voluntary basis, having an age suitable for being in the reserve. At the moment, the Moscow Regional Defense Ministry has about 8 thousands of people. All members of the reserve register a so-called "reserve" contract with the department. The quota of the reserve is determined by the Ministry of Defense annually.
