Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic accepted the proposal of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoigu about the participation of the Serbian military in the Victory Parade on Red Square on May 9.
“The Serbian Army will take part in the“ Parade of Victors ”at the invitation of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoigu in connection with the celebration of the 70 anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945,” the newspaper of the Serbian Defense Ministry reports "Sight".
In addition, the military can come to the parade of South Ossetia. The Russian Defense Ministry also sent an invitation to participate in the parade in Washington.
