Ordinary nationalism
Having made a technical break for the next round of the Minsk agreements, the United States confirmed that at the end of April, 290 servicemen from the 173rd Airborne Brigade Sky Soldiers ("Heavenly Soldiers") will arrive at the training ground in Yavoriv to train the fighters of the National Guard of Ukraine. Details are not disclosed, but if we consider that the scandalous battalions Azov, Donbass, Aydar and others are included in the organizational schedule of the Ukrainian National Guard, these rangers from the skies will first of all teach science to defeat nationalists, for whom idols - fighters of the Waffen SS "Galicia" division, the "Roland" and "Nachtigall" battalions, who swore allegiance to Adolf Hitler and left in stories a very noticeable trail of blood. At the same time, they never had serious combat successes, only punitive ones.
A quarter of a century ago, such a plot would have seemed fantastic - unobvious and incredible, but today it is an objective reality: the syncracy of National Socialism in the West has disappeared somewhere. On the contrary, the so-called civilized world only applauds when the former soldiers of the Third Reich, as if victors, march through the streets and squares of the Baltic capitals. Moreover, in politics, both the United States and Europe more and more often rely on forces professing national exclusivity.
However, the deed is done, and no one in the West is particularly hiding that, for example, the Kiev Maidan from "a" to "z" is their project, that only $ 5 billion was spent from the American treasury to put that the same "Right Sector" and teach the tactics of street fighting security forces of other no less odious nationalist organizations. The training was carried out in the Carpathian forests, and in Lithuania, and even in Poland, where Stepan Bandera, in general, is not a very popular historical character. And nevertheless, everyone seemed to have broken off the chain in a Russophobic frenzy. As in the bad old days of the Cold War, the Western press actively molds Russia into an “enemy of all progressive humanity” and calls for arming and accumulating forces. And whoever lacks them, America is ready to provide military-technical support at any time.
120 tanks and the infantry fighting vehicles that the United States brought to Latvia a few weeks ago is just one of the many fragments of the global anti-Russian madness. And just the other day, the House of Representatives of the US Congress by an overwhelming majority adopted a resolution in which the President is recommended to start deliveries weapons Ukraine. So Barack Obama was practically pushed to the wall - there is no escape, most likely, you will still have to arm the Ukrainian army, against which he has so far resisted. In fact, the supply of weapons and military equipment to Ukraine, albeit in limited quantities, has been going on for a long time. Here, and no special evidence is required, it is enough to look at the uniforms and equipment of the same National Guards - you can hardly distinguish from the soldiers of the Bundeswehr or American Rangers.
And although Ukraine is not yet a member of NATO and it is generally not known how its further geopolitical fate will develop, along with Moldova, Poland and the Baltic countries, it has de facto already secured its own border in the “cordon sanitaire” created on the Russian western border, which once again divided Europe into two not too friendly camps. And although the latest strategic command and staff exercises, which almost caused panic overseas and on the European continent, showed that Russia is able to stand up for itself, questions remain. And the main one is why practically everyone (at least in the West) is against us again? When was it different? ..
BROWN DISEASE
In the context of recent events, the phrase "In the whole world we have only two loyal allies - our army and navy", which historians attribute to Alexander III, as before, does not seem so commonplace. Leaving aside the crusades, when all of Europe with swords and spears at the ready mastered the Promised Land, it turns out that it was just as united only when it went to war against Russia, and it does not matter which one - tsarist or communist. Suffice it to recall that in the 600-thousandth army of Napoleon, there were actually less than a third of the French - only 140 thousand. The rest were children of various European nations.
As for Hitler's army, it is generally a continuous international. Previously in the USSR, in order not to overshadow friendship between peoples, this historical fact was artificially hushed up, but now the cards are open: there was practically not a single significant and even not very significant European state that was not represented in the armed forces of Nazi Germany by its own armed formation, as as a rule - in the composition of the Waffen SS: Scandinavians, French (and in such numbers that the squadron "Normandie-Niemen", perhaps, can be regarded as a historical paradox), Croats, Latvians, Estonians, Spaniards, Bulgarians, Romanians, etc. according to the geographical atlas. Moreover, the SS troops also included the American Volunteer Corps, better known from reference books as the George Washington Brigade. Until recently, in order not to embarrass the main ally in the anti-Hitler coalition, this fact was also not advertised too much.
But take note: in the national units of the Waffen SS, most of the volunteers who caught the "brown plague" served. How did this happen? There are two explanations for this. First, they decided to help Hitler in his fight against the "communist threat". And the second is the struggle for living space with subhumans, that is, as Goebbels' propaganda dubbed the Slavs, with the Untermensch.

So national exclusivity is by no means a Ukrainian invention. Not only true Aryans with a Nordic character have been ill with nationalism in an acute form, but, for example, the Anglo-Saxons, and more than once. And it is not a fact that this ailment from the old European heritage has not acquired a chronic form. At least it is not the first time that talk that the Russians are unworthy of the territory they occupy. Not for the first time, following the ideologists of the Third Reich, they have hinted to us that this land is not very well-groomed, that other hands should have been attached to it.
The technique is not very sophisticated, frankly from the kitchen vocabulary, but among other arguments in favor of the so-called European choice, it is also very actively used in practice. On the other hand, live as you want, ally with whom you like, but the fact of the matter is that the West has declared the European choice as an uncontested option: if you do not share Western values, then you are some kind of wrong , which means you need to be adjusted. For example, bombs and "tomahawks", as happened with the "wrong" Yugoslavia. Or a color revolution, as happened in a number of countries, including Ukraine. So the European choice, as well as from other controversial geopolitical theories of the recent past, also noticeably smacks of exclusivity. By and large, this is the same nationalism, only on a broader - European scale. Perhaps that is why the old woman Europe no longer turns back from the marches of the former SS men.
AND NOT Scythians, AND NOT ASIANS
By the way, the phrase of Alexander III about the most loyal allies - the army and the navy - has a continuation, which was usually omitted: "... All the others, at the first opportunity, will take up arms against us themselves." It was said a long time ago, but how exactly. First of all, here comes the story of the Bulgarians, who, if not for Adjutant General Mikhail Skobelev, might not have existed as an ethnic group. And certainly there would not be such a state on the European map - Bulgaria. Nevertheless, it is the brothers who are behind the chain of betrayals. In the First and Second World Wars, Bulgaria, as is now well known, was an ally of Germany, and last year, under pressure from American and European partners, it planted a mine under South Stream. In general, in the name of European unity, she shot herself in the leg ...
However, the point is not even in our common historical memory with the Bulgarians and not in gratitude, finally. History has known somersaults and worse. And yet it was the Ukrainians who contrived to surprise the world more than others. At first, in an outburst of self-identification, local ethnographers declared that Ukrainians were real Slavs, and Russians were a cross between “low-value” Finno-Ugric and such “low-value” Tatar-Mongols. The latter somehow remained silent, but with the Hungarians and Finns it turned out to be very politically incorrect, since Finland is a member of the European Union, and Hungary, for a minute, is also a NATO member ...
But, apparently, to be Slavs now, in principle, is not very fashionable. On this basis, nationally oriented Ukrainian historians began to dig even deeper and in the end, it seems, established that the Ukrainians were not Slavs at all, but one hundred percent Aryans. Taras Bulba, if it were not for a literary character, probably a hundred times in a coffin would have turned over from such a murderous news...
It is no secret that European science also makes fun of such an entertaining ethnography. Well, which of the Ukrainians are Aryans? And if the Ukrainians are not Scythians, not Asians, or even Ukrainians, then who are they? It is difficult to answer, since the Ukrainian nationalists, in their inadequate desire to break with the Slavic world, seem to have chopped off all their ancestral roots. So what, did they become Europeans?

Now, practically no one doubts that Kiev once again needed the Minsk agreements in order to get its units out of the Debaltseve boiler and in general to escape from complete defeat. The only question now is when military aid will come from the United States and how quickly American and British instructors will teach personnel how to handle modern military equipment and weapons. So the next phase of the armed confrontation can be considered inevitable. Moreover, the Ukrainian military is firmly convinced that the products of the overseas military-industrial complex will certainly bring them the desired victory on the eastern front.
By the way, the Georgian security forces were in the same confidence in August 2008, when they attacked South Ossetia. They were also actively taught that with American ammunition and American-made weapons, they would be out of competition on the battlefield. The result is well known: the author of these lines saw with his own eyes piles of captured American weapons, including automatic M-4 carbines, which are considered to be a special chic in Ukrainian units today.
By the way, this is not the first time that the West has unceremoniously intervened in the “old dispute of the Slavs among themselves,” and in general in the difficult situation in the post-Soviet space. And at first, Western attention to many national politicians simply blew their heads - finally, civilization had come! At the same time, perhaps only the lazy did not throw his personal stone into Russian culture, and into Russian history, and in Russia in general.
And today, Baltic officials are still taking selfies against the background of overseas armored vehicles, but not with such enthusiasm. For which there are grounds. Last year, as part of the Open Spirit 2014 exercise, the NATO squadron turned to Ventspils. The sailors went ashore and took a good walk. As a result, the local mayor Aivars Lembergs made the following statement: “NATO sailors in Ventspils behave like a pig, ignoring the laws of Latvia and the mandatory rules of Ventspils self-government. While drunk, they urinated in public places and on shop windows, they felt sick, they drank alcohol in public places, which is not allowed in our country. They also picked flowers from flower beds to give to prostitutes. " In general, according to Lembergs, "behaved like occupants who do not recognize the sovereignty of Latvia."
Of course, they don't behave like that with equals. And this despite the fact that the Balts consider themselves a more civilized ethnic group than the former Slavs - Ukrainians. Let Kiev take this into account.
