You always have Russia to blame ... For the 25 anniversary of the declaration of independence of Lithuania

You always have Russia to blame ... For the 25 anniversary of the declaration of independence of Lithuania25 years ago, 11 March 1990, Lithuania, violating the USSR Constitution and the decrees of all new “democratic” documents, officially declared its independence. The Supreme Council of Lithuania in February 1990 announced its withdrawal from the “red empire”. Gorbachev’s leadership clumsily tried to organize something like an economic sanction against a recalcitrant republic, but it was just another appearance of any action on his part.

Propaganda fifth column acted with might and main, A.N. Yakovlev personally instigated Saoudis to take decisive action. In January, 1991, the forces of law and order of the dying state tried to restore order in the capital of Lithuania and were betrayed by Gorbachev, who became the Nobel laureate by that moment. During the storming of the television center, provocative shots were heard from the television tower, where there were no Soviet soldiers - clearly from above, as all Lithuanian doctors confirmed. They deliberately aggravated the conflict, went to the corpses of the Lithuanians, as some Lithuanian politicians admitted, so that the blood that separates the peoples was shed. The ideological manifesto, the red cloth was the so-called Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, printed in Lithuania without an official full text.

Ten high-ranking guests are waiting for the celebrations to mark the 25 anniversary of the restoration of Lithuanian independence in Vilnius, the newspaper Lietuvos žinios reported. It was confirmed that the President of Iceland Olafur Ragnar Grimsson and the heads of parliaments of Iceland, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Moldova, Sweden, the chairman of the Senate of Poland will take part in the events of 11 in March. In Vilnius, representatives of parliaments and other representatives of Great Britain, the USA, Germany, Norway, Ukraine, Georgia, and Belarus are also expected. Not a lot ... Russia, which weakly released Lithuania, is not invited. Moreover, the beginning of March was marked by hysteria: around 400, people with the flags of Russia, Lithuania and Ukraine began the march at the Russian embassy, lighting candles and laying flowers in memory of Nemtsov. The march ended with a minute of silence on Lukishskaya Square in Vilnius, outside the building of the former KGB prison. Conservative member Emanuelis Zingeris, a member of the Seimas of Lithuania, suggested that the Seimas, at the beginning of the spring session, adopt a resolution in connection with the murder of a Russian opposition figure. The draft resolution says that, celebrating the 25 anniversary of the restoration of Lithuanian independence, Seim speaks with deep sorrow of the death of Boris Nemtsov, “a person close to Lithuania who shook our whole country. Nemtsov was one of those people who still inspired hope that Russia will one day take the path of democracy. ” Everything, hopes, means, after the shots of the Chechens died away under the spring sun!

“Someone said that it is impossible to exert too much pressure on Russia now - to give it the opportunity to save its face and leave it a“ retreat strategy ”. I clearly said: Europe needs to save its face, and not Russia, which is not going to do that. She has no face for a long time - only Putin’s face. ” So absurdly expressed Dalia Grybauskaite - the President of Lithuania in the TV show "The Right to Know" LRT.

One wonders that with these words Europe teaches the president of a small, Stalin-reconstituted country that knows Russia well and understands that even the father of the nations did not give it a Georgian face.

Lithuanian President Grybauskaite will not go to Moscow for celebrations dedicated to the 70 anniversary of Victory Day. She motivated her decision by saying that “this victory became a symbol of occupation for the Baltic countries”. Diplomatically, the alignment is clear, but historically, politically, humanly, everything is very strange and vague. By the way, there is such a theory that the word "Lithuania" means a country of rain. Island of fogs.

Spaces like vents -
Deaf distance is dead -
Can it be only sacrifice
In the mist of ages Lithuania?

That way the poet exclaimed, my peer Sigitas Gyada in verses of the Soviet years. The first two lines in G. Efremov’s translation are indistinct, but the last ones with regret are understandable. No, not just the victim. At the famous monument “Millennium of Russia” in Veliky Novgorod Ancient Russia is represented by five statesmen: Russians Yaroslav the Wise, Vladimir Monomakh (now Russia is trying to strip these pillars of Russian statehood) and ... Lithuanians - Gedimin, Olgerd, Vitovt. They, as we see, are numerically superior. “In the gloom of centuries” we lived together, which is imprinted in the documents in Russian. The Lithuanian princes fought on the Kulikovo field, the Lithuanian clans, the same Golitsyns, became the support of the growing Russian state. But the Grand Duke of Lithuania Gediminus, along with other pagans of Europe, conquered the territory of Belarus and Ukraine, making innumerable sacrifices to the last two, and only then the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, Catholicizing the Lithuanian princes, took these territories into their own hands. Great Lithuania indeed was once, but it lost historical confrontation rather than Russia, and Poland, which she wanted to merge into a powerful education.

Now it is a small, supposedly independent state, depriving of the last signs of genuine sovereignty. Of course, Lithuanians always had a lot of ambition. All territorial gifts of the USSR are forgotten. On the 70 anniversary of the liberation of Vilnius and Victory, we should remember that the March events of 1939 of the year, 76 of years ago, were not the best page in Lithuanian history. After the incident on the Polish-Lithuanian border, which killed the Polish border guard, Poland put forward an ultimatum to Lithuania. The Lithuanian government, led by President A. Smetona on 19 in March, adopted a Polish ultimatum and announced that Lithuania renounces its claim to the Vilnius region “forever.” Hitlerite Germany on 22 in March demanded that Lithuania clear the illegally occupied German city of Memel. Lithuania unquestioningly complied with this requirement, although it had powerful Western “guarantors”. The lands from the Baltic coast to the Vilnius region were returned to them by Comrade Stalin; in fact, he even gifted them the Lithuanian capital Vilnius, a disputed city where the Lithuanians lived in the minority. How can one demand some compensation “for occupation” with such generous territorial gifts, not to mention the created “clean” industry and exemplary agriculture?

But always all the bounty - forgotten, all the grievances and the alleged loss - swelled. Is that a mentality?
* * *

Aggression Grybauskaite is growing today: “I very much hope that this cold war, which is returning to international relations by Russia itself, will still not reach the hottest and worst point, but for this it is necessary to take measures. This is done by Lithuania, Europe, the NATO countries, which is why Lithuania, together with Poland, consulted both NATO countries and the US directly, we received additional measures necessary to ensure our security, since we are talking not only about Crimea, but also about Ukraine . Post-imperial ambitions are such that even we are threatened, Poland is threatened ... ”. Yes, that’s how Russia has become brazen: even Lithuania itself is threatened!

Under the presidential initiative, the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense issued recommendations for citizens “How to survive during Russia's aggression”. There, however, it is noted that you need to try to “keep in your right mind, not to panic and not lose your mind. Shots outside the window are not the end of the world. ” Yes, we remember that provocative shots at the TV tower in January of the 91 were even the beginning of March independence.

In addition, the instructions advise "to spread the truth about current events in a foreign army and resist foreign occupation through demonstrations and strikes, or at least make their work worse than usual." Here it is, the school of hypocrisy!

Many, not without irony, called these recommendations the “Handbook for the surrender of Lithuania.” It would be better to think about the main thing: over the past 12 years, the number of children in the country has decreased by more than a third, and over the past year one child in Lithuania has suffered an average 3 times, reported in the Lithuanian Department of Statistics. According to their official data, children up to 17 years in 2013 made up only 18,3% of all inhabitants of the country, and the total number of children in the country decreased by 35%. Against the background of the mass departure of the population in search of work, this is a tragedy of the nation, but Grybauskaite continues to blame Russia: few litovka give birth. And why? According to preliminary data of the same Department of Statistics, presented on the occasion of International Women's Day, at the beginning of 2015, 1,6 million women lived in Lithuania, which is by 229 thousands more than men. Women make up 53,9% of all residents, 100 women account for 117 women, Lithuanian media reported.

Women in Lithuania, on average, live on 11 for longer than men. In 2013, the average life expectancy of women was 79,4 years, men - 68,5 years. Lithuanian women are the most educated in the EU. According to Eurostat, in 2014, secondary education and education was above average for 94,7% of Lithuanian women aged 25-64 years. In the fourth quarter of 2014, the average monthly net salary of women was 657,3 euros, men - 774,1 euros. Not bad on the background of the fact that the average salary in Russia according to data from Internet job search services for March 2015 was only 28 872 rubles. or roughly 400 euro. Well, if such secured and educated - give birth! Do not want….

In general, it’s already unbearable to listen and read all this. Arriving in Kiev: Russia unleashed a war in the Donbass, looking into the impoverished Chisinau: Russia occupied, imposed sanctions, you fly to Hungary - all the troubles began with the Soviet tanks in 1956 year.

Lord, so many years have passed, the events broke out, heaped his own mistakes and failures, but we are all to blame. How easy it is for rulers and untalented people to live: just that — gigantic Russia hurts us! ..

I wrote poems in despair:

We will not climb brother to brother -
We have nothing to share in this world:
You always have Russia to blame
And I sometimes do not whitewash.
When they press down the misfortunes of our power,
I am also angry with the Kremlin and Moscow!
Well, after all not to accuse Lions in misfortune
And even - not Great Lithuania ...

* * *

In the anthology of Lithuanian poetry “Amber Coast”, which I compiled for the “Tree of Friendship” series, I included warm and bitter poems of Janina Deguta in the remarkable translation of the novella Matveyeva devoted to Lithuania at the opening:

You're on the map - shabby ugly
From the Grunwald battle chain mail,
You are a scale
Pirchyupis bloody,
A droplet of the great skies of the lake.

Pirciupis - Pirciupiai is a village in the Varėna district of Lithuania, which in 1944 was burned down by punitive detachments along with its 119 inhabitants. But not these monsters are now called invaders, occupiers, and the Soviet soldiers-liberators. The granite Lithuanian mother in Pirchüpää is grieving: a little time has passed, and the memory has been crushed. A nondescript shred on the map, a scale of chain mail, using the comparison of the truthful poetess, took the path of the pug out of Krylov's fable for some reason and 11 of March is preparing to celebrate the 25 anniversary of its independence at the European level.

In February, 90 went to Vilnius, which had changed dramatically, saw the nationalist frenzy and impotence of Gorbachev's rule, wrote notes to “Literary Russia” - “Premature Spring”, but realized that the floods with erosion of the USSR could not be kept. Then it was still possible to come, but it became clear that Lithuania was finally losing its identity and relative independence. In perestroika, it was easy to demonstrate, but after joining the EU and NATO - pipes! Moreover, in spite of all the historical and spiritual realities, Mrs. President laid the foundation of her policy for Russophobia and the zeal of the character barking at the elephant. She succeeded to such an extent that the Ukrainian newspaper Den brought her the “crown” for 2014 for the year: “What Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite is doing for Ukraine is difficult to overestimate. She is one of the few European leaders who calls a spade a spade. Grybauskaite was the first to openly condemn Russian aggression ... By this she became the first of Western politicians who openly called Russia a “terrorist state”. According to the useless diplomat and publicist Y. Shcherbak, "she is one of the few European leaders who does not flirt with Putin." What a hopeless stupidity at the level of pique waistcoat conversations: “I wouldn’t have put a finger in Putin’s mouth” ...

So, all actions are on a single scale, on the evil attitude towards Russia and Putin, and what did the former teacher of the Vilnius Higher Party School do for her country? She's an economist! In the fertile 80-s, having visited Lithuania as a member of the delegation of the publishing house “Young Guard”, having seen the republic and the public - from writers-colleagues to ordinary readers, I was convinced that the level of literature, cultural and everyday life was there - the highest! Such that Russia - supposedly the occupier - could not dream. We visited Snnekkus, which grew up around the Ignalina NPP. This, of course, was the city of the future - multinational, intellectual. What is wrong with him today? Lithuania rather stupidly wasted the “Soviet legacy” inherited by it. At the request of the EU, the largest nuclear power plant in the region was stopped, which could fully provide Lithuania with electricity and provided up to 40% of foreign exchange earnings to the national budget. The current president has absurdly called it “energy independence.” So, the concept of independence in Lithuania is actually interpreted contrary to the truth of history, common sense.

Reason can really be lost against the background of a national tragedy - soldering people: Lithuanians took the first place in Europe in terms of alcohol consumption per capita - 20 liters per year! Even Russia overtook.

Last March, the Lithuanian authorities tightened the requirements for recipients of social compensation and benefits: poor families will lose their support if it becomes known that their members have left for work abroad. According to the Department of Statistics, in the 2013 year, more than 40 thousand people emigrated from Lithuania only officially. The wave of emigration intensified in the 2004 year after the country's accession to the European Union, the opening of borders and entry into the common labor market. According to the department, according to the census of the states of the world, 3,663 million Lithuanians live in the whole world: 3,043 million (83,1%) in Lithuania, 619,6 th. (16,9%) outside Lithuania. Every fifth foreign Lithuanian lives in the UK, every seventh in Russia, every tenth in Poland. How much in Russia! But neither she nor her Lithuanian guests respond to the excesses of Grybauskaite.

At the National Art Gallery, Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaite together with student and youth organizations announced the start of the “For Lithuania and for Me” initiative. Until March 11, pupils, teachers, parents, school communities, as well as Lithuanians living abroad, should weave tricolor - yellow-green-red - friendship bracelets, wear them, and give to Lithuania. If you look closely, they strongly resemble the coat of arms of Soviet Lithuania, but Grybauskaite sang the whole slavitsa of the empty action: “You are happy because you were born in free Lithuania. In such a Lithuania, you will grow up if you are united and courageous. If you are proud of pronouncing the name of your homeland. Today you wear a tricolor bracelet on your wrist. Let these three colors find a special place in your heart, ”the president said pompously. It would be better if she guaranteed these guys a decent job in their homeland. “Increasingly, the people of Lithuania who have lost their jobs fall into despair, and the country's authorities have turned their backs on them and are stingy to help them - not only their own, but also from the funds of the European Globalization Fund (EFG). The deputy of the European Parliament, the vice-president of the Europe of Freedom and Democracy faction Rolandas Paksas is convinced of this. But in the pre-holiday days there is no time for humiliating requests! Woven bracelets before 10 March could be brought to the National Art Gallery and tied up on specially installed columns. To decorate the whole design 250 thousand of such bracelets are required. Here is an achievement! - not that the former labor gifts for the holiday: some nuclear power plants or a television equipment factory.

Most recently, Grybauskaite’s candidacy was considered by some countries as a candidate for the post of UN Secretary-General (after Ban Ki-moon). Grybauskaite herself was eager for this.

However, as is well known, the candidacy of the new UN Secretary General requires a consensus of all permanent members of the UN Security Council, and in Soviet times, the UN secretaries general (usually from small and preferably neutral countries) were generally selected by a coordinated decision of the Soviet Union and the United States. Now Moscow has some weight to not approve the candidacy. This brought the Lithuanian president out of herself - and she poured anger on Russia and on Putin personally. So the dream was to dump from Lithuania in honor of the 25 anniversary of independence! “Married to Lithuania” - Ramunas Bogdanas, a former adviser to Vytautas Landsbergis, who for some reason promoted the party careerist, expressed such a metaphor in relation to Dale Grybauskaite. But in this wordplay there is a significant mistake: in her career, the post itself has always been more important. After the elections last May, 58, a lonely single official, Grybauskaite, began to rule Lithuania further with a tough hand. I didn’t manage to lead the UN - I began to prepare for war with Russia: “We know the procedures of NATO. The rapid reaction force can take effect at least 72 hours. The Baltic countries are rather small. We ourselves must defend for 72 hours, and maybe even longer, ”she expressed her determination and resumed her call-up into the army, calling it a signal,“ which makes it clear that Lithuania will defend itself. ” According to Dali Grybauskaite, an information war is already being waged against the Baltic states: “We are on the front line, the first stage of confrontation is under way, I mean information war, propaganda and cyber attack. So, we were attacked. Will it escalate into conventional confrontation? Nobody knows. But now we must defend ourselves against this aggressive behavior, ”Grybauskaite urges. Yes, may she herself at least take a holiday!

A former employee of the Lithuanian Press Committee, Algis Banyavichus, boasting of well-published books, recalled: “Mother is a simple peasant woman who repeated to me: learn Russian. Russia is power! ” Lithuanian wisdom is in sermyag, claimed the writers of the past, focused on the culture of the village. Today, Lithuanian wisdom is pacing, wrapped in glass galoshes. So sings laureate of the national prize Juozas Erlitskas. And Russia is no longer such a power ...

Knowing the poetry of Lithuania well, I have always been amazed by the invasion of modernism, formalism in the country of great folklore, peasant culture, where, by the way, the land is 80 diminutively synonymous. It seems to me that lately literature is not an expression of the spirit of the people, but a host of moans and grimaces of the elite. The critic Brigita Speicite wrote with surprise: “After the restoration of an independent Lithuanian state, Lithuanian poetry, which had been carrying out the mission of spiritual consolidation of the people for several decades of occupation, produced unique circulations of several tens of thousands, lost the status of the main discourse of truth in Lithuanian culture during the years of freedom, and also lost mass reader. I did not even understand at first what kind of occupation was meant, the fascist one? No, about the imaginary Soviet, when Lithuanian literature, especially poetry - flourished!

At the beginning of 80's, Lithuania became some kind of a future and, I confess, a corner of the West, a fertile land of free and cheap life. Our Zhigulevskiy mug cost 25 kopecks in a stall, and came to Trakai, looking at the lake in a beer-house - 18 kopecks! But in one Soviet power lived. Why are there beer - dairy products and rags from the shelves rained down. What a shortage was the first portable TV "Shilalis", especially color! And how the rural villages with swimming pools, the castle and the whole tourist Trakai, licked, as in the picture, or the many thousands festival “Spring of Poetry” in the glade near Kaunas, struck. Today's Vilnius (and the same Trakai) make a sad impression. True, the center was restored and I am sure that it looks like a needle in the festive March.

But it feels like from a shop window, an outpost of the West in the Soviet eastern space, Lithuania has turned into the backwood of this very West.
To go already, even if such an opportunity presents itself, I absolutely do not want to. In addition, it is amusing and annoying that a ticket to Kaliningrad costs two times less than to a much closer Vilnius, and it is impossible to deceive customs and get off earlier. All this devilry, politician's orgy, which spread even people sympathizing with each other, has bothered. Where are you, a journalist from the Trakai newspaper Spartak Sigita Nemekayte? She began to interview me as an honored guest of the ancient capital and at the end said: "And now I will tell you, for what we, Lithuanians, do not like Russians." I laughed: "And I do not take an interview." She broke out, ran away. Then he accidentally met her in a restaurant, where Antonov sang endlessly: “I look at you like a mirror ...”. We talked directly with her over a glass of wine, then I met her daughter, who almost did not understand Russian, and later sat at the table with her second jazz husband. And I did not have in Lithuania a more reliable and more understanding friend. Over the years, politicians destroyed the main thing - all historical, spiritual and spiritual connections. This is the main crime of violent and close-up leaders against humanity.

With the holiday of spring and let - independence, wise and hard-working women of Lithuania!

"This victory has become a symbol of occupation for the Baltic countries."

Maybe I’m not expressing myself quite correctly, but it seems to me that in Soviet times the state security agencies did not finalize the etching of Lithuanian nationalism. So all abomination has come out, which at one time was both in the Komsomol and in the CPSU.

I completely agree with you. Although anti-communists wrote about the terrible NKVD, the KGB is actually not so. How did tens of thousands of these henchmen of fascism remain alive and free. And these opportunists were everywhere. What is it that they can adapt in time to ass lick, it was they who they learned from the Nazis. Our organs of state security inside the country worked badly. ILs did not allow them to work normally, opportunists and traitors at the top.

Mrs. Grybauskaite does not want to go to Moscow on May 9. I would like to note that we will have a Great Victory Parade, and not a parade of gays and lesbians.
So, her choice is perfectly clear.

And it seems to me that, first of all, it’s not about abomination that you have to say, but thank you to the author for a thoughtful, historically true, a little sentimental article with notes of nostalgia. Well, LIFE will still put everything in its place. Generations of people, politicians will change ... The only commandment is that we need to remember, and remember, the ungrateful. Well, the conclusions, respectively

What has been done is no longer done! You just need to BUILD all TERMINALS and PORTS on the territory of RUSSIA FASTER, and deprive them of all the money for INDUSTRIAL TRANSIT + SANCTIONS on their products. The economy of the Balts is so on the verge of a COLLAPSE, and they WILL NOT WITHDRAW such a blow! And there will be a second "GREECE" in the Baltic!

But who is waiting for them on Victory Day, this is a holiday for them. This is a celebration of our people who defeated German fascism and we don’t need to look at the faces of the same fascists on Red Square, let them watch in our chronicle how we hollowed them.

They carry water on the offended, and even put it on them with the device. Lithuanian politicians should remember this saying constantly.
Only certain elements of the common infrastructure built during the Soviet era do not completely forget about Lithuania and its neighbors.

A lot of talk and little business. Education, medicine, industry, where are we? Visibility .... The beginning is not entirely correct, Lithuania is the third power character here, Gorbachev and the party apparatchiks did their dirty deed violating the constitution to protect our country, diligently cultivating the separatism of the Baltic states. After all, the Russian inhabitants of the Baltic states supported the act of independence dreaming of living in Europe richly and received the title of non-citizens.

All former fraternal republics have some kind of epidemic - sclerosis, senility and Russophobia at the same time. Straight 3 in 1, and from one common dirty EU striped bucket.

The Baltic countries became part of the Russian Empire following the results of the Northern War. They apparently forgot that 200 years ago from 1721 to 1920 all these territories were Russian lands, then called Courland, Livonia and Estonia.

What has been done, what has been done can no longer be fixed!

Not a situation where nothing can be fixed. Moreover, the position to fence off and do as much damage as possible, even economic, is not constructive. There is a war for souls in the Baltics now, we are still losing, but having fenced off, we will lose completely. Sanctions and blockades are useful as long as they are applied without fanaticism, dosed and consciously. It is time for Russia to collect its lands, and not to become defensively protected from them, well, and then severely punish "activists" such as Gribauskaite.

I agree! Enough to endure the tricks of these under-states, imagining themselves to be the decisors of the fate of Europe and born dead! It’s time to fight back harder!
Impunity breeds irresponsibility! And the more we clatter with them, the more impudent and shameless they become! It's time already on the hands and lips ...

Our government has never taken any decisive measures against the unbridled Baltic states. Moreover, the latter always depended heavily on Russia. Even today we buy their products, although we could easily do without them, but they would howl from problems, and our own population would quickly throw Russophobes from their necks. Sometimes it is necessary not only to think about a pocket, but also about national interests .... After the serious consequences of any manifestation of Russophobia, they would then think ten times later - should it go on ....

Sometimes it seems that you have to do what they want! Well, the Baltic "presidents" want to turn their territories into a battlefield (they themselves will leap to London and from there they will squeal - well, we said !!!!!) Instructions are written by dr! But they themselves do not understand (or understand?), what if we become like them - that’s the end of their statehood and in general everything. Let's go with the sword and drive everyone to the camps, who will stay alive! So no, they don’t know that the Russians, as always, begin to feel sorry, pigeon, share. Russians, not amers against which Hitler is a model of kindness and pacifism! The West has never had mercy, nor kindness, nor honor, nor conscience, with the rarest exceptions, which alas, never influenced anything, one thing to hell with business and nothing personal.

Russia, which willlessly let Lithuania go, is not invited
    --------------------------
What else to expect from slaves?
Only some kind of strange selective division into hosts. If this country prospered when it was a part of Russia and the USSR, seaports, factories, factories, fish processing and radio factories were built, then with independent existence and in alliance with Europe the country simply degrades, and the alliance with the fascist state put it on the brink of existence. At the same time, oddly enough, the most unbridled hatred is expressed by the Bolts specifically to the Russians, who constantly developed their country. This is the unequivocal conclusion that the Baltic countries do not need development and prosperity, they only need to bark about the bark and to distant hosts they patted affectionately and encouragingly at the scruff of the neck.

Often I go to the Baltic states on business - empty countries - all the able-bodied population left to work in Europe and Russia, only a few tourists from the EU stagger on the streets, who go there to "drink", lonely pensioners wander and sometimes there are those who work in different bureaucratic offices , well, schoolchildren, in due time, flocks move to school and back ... Indeed, the wilderness of Europe.

Russophobia is the only way out for the Baltic elites. There are no national ideas, the economy is in the pen, and there are no means, ways and ideas to raise it, I am simply silent about culture. In order to prevent you from being torn to pieces by grateful compatriots, you have to create Russophobic hysteria and hold out as long as possible on its wave. To their great regret, doing this forever is not possible.

The article is very emotional ... But if we discard emotions, then we can say that Lithuania and Poland in their modern form were created by the USSR and Stalin that they hated on the ruins of Germany and at the expense of Germany !!!
Both Lithuania and Poland have always historically been egoistic states, always having enormous ambitions and meager opportunities ...
Poland existed 200 years as a semi-principality, a semi-state and waged eternal disputes with Germany over access to the Baltic ... Lithuania generally had no statehood for about 500 years, and even in the short period between world wars existed in a greatly reduced form ... And thanks exclusively to the USSR Lithuania has found more or less stable borders ...

To bomb, bomb and bomb again. So there was something to be offended.

And yet, the Litvins have nothing to do with modern Lithuania, the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and Russia is, as it were, approximately Belarus. The Baltic states did not have any statehood; Peter I bought them from the Swedes in 1721 in the year XNUMX.

Lithuanian clans, the same Golitsyn, became the pillar of the growing Russian state

The author confuses phonetic consonances with meaning filling. "Lithuania" and today's Lithuanians have no more in common than Russians with all fair hair. In historical justice, today's Lithuania should be called Zhmudya, Zhmud. And the language, Zhmudsky. For modern Lithuanian is a modified Zhmudian. There is not a single historical document in the Lithuanian language, even from the New Age, not to mention the Middle Ages. What language was spoken in Lithuania, read U Prosper Merime, in "Lokis". Knowing the Zhmud language was something exotic, like some ability to read Egyptian hieroglyphs and Babylonian. Polish, Russian, French, German, Belarusian (I would call it White Polish). Also look in what language newspapers and books were published, records and documents were kept. Lithuanian, metamorphosed by Polish, Russian and German Zhmud, became official only at the beginning of the twentieth century. And then, the cream of society spoke little on it. It's like in Ukraine today.

PS. And the word Lithuania, this is the whole Slavic word, the copyright of which is claimed by both Russians and Poles and Belarusians. And maybe the Jews. And to the least extent, Lithuanians.

Forgive me for the maniacal malice, but I will not hide, I am glad that in the "sprat kingdoms" it is getting rotten. It is bad that the Russians living there are also rotten at the same time, but in 25 years, one could find the strength in oneself and leave for Russia. Those who did not leave - let them not complain then. As for the Baldons themselves, they are strangers to the Russians, completely strangers.
Here theirs didn’t feel weak (I’m talking about Ukraine), but what to say about strangers. If we compare it with gastronomy, it is bad, herring with raspberry jam does not fit very well. Of course, someone likes such combinations, but this is rather an exception. They have always played the role of a little mongrel that goes before the "big Europe". They have always looked at "unwashed Russia" with contempt. We always wanted to get everything for free, but the amount of muck and bile increased in proportion to the gratuitous help. The Germans and Hitler in particular were right when it was stated that "the more we destroy the Poles and the Balts, the more they will respect the German soldier, for lackeys understand only a stick." It would seem a paradox, but the Poles and the Balts are still sensitive to every movement of the "German neighbor" who blew them, and they wanted to spit on the Russian Ivan, who did not spare his life saving from Nazism. This has been said thousands of times, articles and books have been written.

Today, Lithuania is an endangered region of Europe - population growth is negative. And this is understandable the prospects for young people with education are not there - they are leaving for other EU regions that are more prosperous. Led by traitors to the interests of the people in all the former republics of the USSR, the people were hammered into the head that the USSR was evil (I must say thanks to Gorbachev and his friend A. Yakovlev). Thus, the local communists and tearing the country apart from the results of the referendum! And in 1953 Mao Tse Dong warned about this! It’s very simple to fool the authorities of the people, and managing the illiterate is even easier, but the question is in whose interests is it fooling the people of their country? It turns out in the interests of am our sworn "friends and partners"!
