And here there is another version that quite easily fits into the plot.
Indeed, if Mozgovoy decided to make an agreement with the LC, and even with administrative perspectives in Alchevsk, then the real guys from the plant might get worried.
For the field commander sitting in the city is one thing, and the commander of the army of the LC, is another. The bottom line is that now Alchevsk is under the control of the Brain, whatever one may say. And with him everything is already decided. He does not climb into the affairs of metallurgists, they have shortened it once, that's all.
And quite another thing, when the Brain becomes a part of the LC, that is, in his face the LC comes in Alchevsk real and durable.
Considering that the Brainstorming person is rather vindictive, it is unlikely that his official assignment would be to the representatives of the hosts to taste. Well, as he used to do things, you shouldn’t tell.
