The TV channel LifeNews publishes material that reports on the details of the death of a representative of the command of the so-called "volunteer" Azov regiment in the Shirokino area. The militants of “Azov” were driving a car through the locality on the last day before the beginning of the ceasefire. A car with two characteristic white stripes crashed into a monument to the fighters of the Red Army who fell during the Great Patriotic War, the militants who were in it died.
We are now in the very center of the village of Shirokino next to the car of one of the commanders of the Azov battalion. On the last day before the truce, February 14, he crashed into a monument to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. The militias consider it to be very symbolic. As they say: these are grandfathers revenge.
It should be noted that the battalion (regiment) "Azov" continues to conduct attacks on militia positions even after the start of the truce. This once again proves that the radical detachments funded by individual oligarchs are not subject to either the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, nor the Ministry of Internal Affairs, nor the central authorities as a whole.
