For victory and Olympics

Six years ago, in February 2009, a holding appeared in the domestic defense industry complex, combining legendary organizations and enterprises, such as the Instrument Design Bureau, Tula weapons Plant, Engineering Design Bureau, KBTochmash named after A. E. Nudelman, TsNIIAG and others. It received the name consonant with the tasks of the XNUMXst century - “High-precision complexes”.

In the six years since its inception, High-Precision Complexes have become one of the leading military-industrial associations not only in the Russian defense industry, but also in the global arms and military industry industry. Many products, for example, the Kornet anti-tank missile systems, the Berezhok combat modules, the Pantsir anti-aircraft missile and cannon systems, became "bestsellers" in the international weapons market.

“A fire platoon of three Chrysanthemums can destroy tank enemy companies, and in the first few seconds up to 60 percent of targets can be hit. One Tiger with the Kornet ATGM can also destroy enemy tanks before a company. ”
On a special account, such developments of the enterprises of the High-Precision Complexes, such as the Iskander operational-tactical missile system, the Verba portable anti-aircraft missile system, the Chrysanthem anti-tank missile system. All of them are currently purchased by the Ministry of Defense of Russia.

Last July, on the occasion of completing the creation of the third set of the Iskander-M operational tactical complex and its transfer to the country's Armed Forces, the holding received congratulations from Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev. By the way, in 2014, the customer, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, received two sets at once: in June - for the Western missilemen, and in November - for the Central Military District.

Enterprises and design bureaus included in the holding are not standing still and are actively developing new products. In particular, last year successful tests of the latest missiles for the Pantsir ZRPK were held. In the near future, work will be completed on a fundamentally new complex "Pantsir-M". The anti-tank "Cornet" learned how to deal not only with ground targets, but also with aircraft, including UAVs. More recently, the Tula KBP announced that by the end of the year, the newest multi-barrel automatic cannon will be tested for the Russian fifth-generation T-50 aircraft.

Reliable protection from Sochi to the Arctic

A year ago, the Winter Olympics began in Sochi. Even against the backdrop of the brilliant speeches of our athletes, experts and the media could not overlook the Pantsir anti-aircraft missile and gun systems in service with the Russian Air Force, which were carrying out tasks to protect Olympics facilities from possible terrorist threats.

According to experts, including foreign ones, the Tula ZRPK is better suited than other means to perform such a responsible, requiring exceptional accuracy of work. "Shell" is capable of striking small, maneuvering at low altitude targets with minimal EPR, in particular unmanned aerial vehicles.

Currently, these systems are actively procured by Russian air defense for aerospace defense brigades. The main objective of the ZRPK is to protect the C-400 and C-300 from attacks by cruise missiles, high-precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles. In the near future, the latest C-500 will also be reliably protected by Pantsir-M complexes.

During the operation in the Russian army, the Pantsiri with honor survived many kilometers of marches, tests in all climatic zones, successfully repelled attacks of various targets that imitated an air enemy. Since last year, several ZRPKs have registered in characteristic white camouflage on Kotelny Island, taking up defense of the Russian Arctic.

In the same 2014, the newest portable Verba anti-aircraft missile systems, capable of striking highly maneuverable targets at a height of more than six thousand meters, even under the conditions of using both active and passive countermeasures, came into service with the Russian army. This is a unique opportunity, almost unattainable for competitors.

A few years ago, Verb was spoken of as a promising product, today it is already being actively supplied to the troops, replacing the Needles and Arrows of the previous generation. According to some reports, foreign buyers became interested in the latest MANPADS.

The unique anti-aircraft missile and artillery complex “Palma” protects surface ships from attacks not only by the enemy aviation, but also anti-ship missiles. The main feature of Palma is the use of the Sosna-R supersonic missile, which can be used both for air, surface and even ground targets.

Eternal fear of the "Merkava"

The Russian anti-tank Kornet, as well as the anti-aircraft Pantsiri, is a kind of calling card of the Tula Design Bureau of Instrument-Making, which is part of the High-Precision Complexes holding. It should be noted that both weapons systems were developed by the outstanding designer Arkady Shipunov.

Like the Pantsir, the Cornet has been in great demand in the international arms market for many years. Just like his anti-aircraft missile and cannon fellow, he repeatedly praised by foreign media. Suffice it to recall that during the second Lebanese war in 2007, it was the journalists who were the first to spread messages about the destruction of Israeli tanks with the help of Cornets. At one time, these Russian ATGMs served as a kind of scarecrow for developers and manufacturers of tank defenses. Representing at exhibitions their models of dynamic protection, as well as complex means for tanks, the Israeli developers, as one of the most important threats, designate precisely “Cornets”.

Now the Russian anti-tank complex has become universal, capable of hitting not only armored objects, buildings and field fortifications, but also aircraft, in particular Drones. Foreign buyers became interested in promising multifunctional "Cornets", presented in 2013 at an exhibition in Nizhny Tagil.

And 9 of May last year at the parade of victory on Red Square, the general public was presented with another unique anti-tank missile system, Chrysanthemum-S, also developed by the High-Precision Systems holding JSC NPK KBM. The uniqueness of the complex is that, for the first time in the world, a radar is used on a production vehicle for detection and aiming, which allows it to find and hit targets on the battlefield in all weather conditions, day and night. A fire platoon of three “Chrysanthemums” is capable of destroying up to an enemy tank company (14 armored vehicles). And in the first few seconds, up to 60 percent of targets can be hit. It is noteworthy that the first serial "Chrysanthemum" began service in the newly formed military units in the Crimea.

Secrets of "Shcheglovsky shaft"

The development of combat modules for infantry fighting vehicles, armored personnel carriers and airborne combat vehicles became an important direction in the activity of the High-Precision Complexes holding company.

The newest BMD-4М, which were tested last year and are beginning to enter service with the Airborne Forces, are equipped with a unique combat module Bakhcha, developed by Tula KBP OJSC and manufactured at Shcheglovsky Val OJSC, which is also part of the High-Precision Complex ".

Armed with a 30-mm 2A70 automatic cannon and a 100-mm 2A70 gun / launcher, the BMD-4M with Bakhchoy can not only destroy enemy enemy personnel and lightly armored objects, but can also fight tanks that can get used by X-guns and combat systems that can get used by the guns. high-explosive fragmentation shells “Cherry” hit targets in field fortifications.

The modern sighting system, which includes a thermal imager, a laser rangefinder, night vision sights and a panoramic sight of the commander of a combat vehicle, makes the BMD-4 with Bakhchoy all-weather and capable of hitting targets day and night, even when the enemy uses electronic countermeasures.

On the international arms market, the Berezhok combat modules created to upgrade the BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles are in high demand. In particular, a contract is currently in force for the modernization of infantry fighting vehicles for Algeria.

Installation on the BMP-2 "Berezhka" significantly increases its combat potential. The armament of the module includes the Kornet ATGM, as well as an 30-mm automatic grenade launcher. It is worth noting that for the destruction of tanks with the established active protection complex of the type of Israeli "Trophy" (in translation - "Windbreaker") in the "Berezhka" a special mode of launching anti-tank missiles is implemented, when two ATGMs are launched simultaneously with an interval of a fraction of a second. When approaching the target, one missile gets off KAZ, but the second one is guaranteed to hit the target.

Thanks to the use of special ballistic computers, the BMP-2 with Berezhk is capable of striking the enemy in the shelter with a mounted fire from an 30-mm grenade launcher, not only in open areas, but also in mountains, forests, and urban combat.

Country shield

Another pride of the High-Precision Complexes and KBK NPK is the operational-tactical Iskander missile systems, capable of striking the enemy not only with ballistic missiles, but, as recent combat checks in the Far North and Far East have shown, also with cruise missiles.

Last summer, Iskander, deployed by a military transport plane to Vorkuta, by one of the Ground Forces missile brigades, marched and fired, successfully hitting a training target.

It should be noted that at the end of 2013, the possible deployment of the OTRK developed in Kolomna in the Kaliningrad region led to the threat of an international political crisis. Then the German media, citing intelligence data, reported the deployment of Iskander, which, according to Western experts, put almost the whole of Europe at risk.

"Iskander" constantly criticized by NATO and the United States. Western experts argue that these complexes have a significantly greater impact potential than Russian officials say.

Anyway, now Iskander has become one of the main strike weapons of the Armed Forces of Russia. They are capable of delivering high-precision strikes at its most important strategic sites, airfields, headquarters, nuclear weapons storage sites, etc., even in conditions of air supremacy of the enemy, etc. The high mobility of the complexes, as shown by recent exercises, makes it possible to transfer these cars in any point of Russia. Moreover, "Iskander" will be ready to strike within a few minutes after they are unloaded.

Smart bullets

Next to "Pantsiry", "Cornet", "Iskander" and "Chrysantemum" usually remains in the shadow of another area of activity of the holding "High-precision complexes" - small arms. But this is one of the most dynamically developing areas of activity of enterprises of the holding.

The armament of the power structures was adopted by the GSH-18, developed by the legendary gunsmiths Vasily Gryazev and Arkady Shipunov. This is a unique pistol, the first serial model, which implements the principle of locking by turning the barrel. GSH-18 is able to destroy the enemy, even in modern personal protective equipment.

And this is only the beginning of a wide range of models of small arms, produced by enterprises of the holding, which includes pistols, submachine guns, sniper rifles, rocket launchers, etc.

The submachine gun PP-2000 is currently being actively procured by the Ministry of the Interior to arm employees of not only private security and patrol and inspection service, but also special purpose units. Recently, Tula submachine guns, along with GM-94 magazine-propelled grenade launchers, have been actively used in the fight against illegal armed formations in the North Caucasus.

GM-94 due to its small size, light weight and a wide range of ammunition, including thermobaric, smoke and even incendiary shots, received special recognition in special forces. It is called the workhorse. The grenade launcher is used by fighters of special forces not only during the storming of premises, but also in the forest and in the mountains. According to the law enforcement officers who used it, it is enough to throw a grenade launcher into the position “behind the back” and it is already possible to work. Recharging GM-94 takes a few seconds.

Silent special automatic AS Val and the Vintorez sniper rifle manufactured by the Tula Arms Plant which is part of the High-Precision Complexes holding and armed with not only the Ministry of Defense of Russia, but also other security agencies for more than 20 years, also remain indispensable tools. Capable of silently guaranteed to strike the enemy in modern means of individual protection of the AU and BCC - in great prestige among the soldiers of special forces.

And last year, the line of small arms of the holding “High-Precision Complexes” was supplemented with a unique two-medium automatic machine special ADF developed by the branch of the Tula Instrument Design Bureau - TsKIB SOO. He is able to hit the enemy not only on land, but also under water. Such opportunities were achieved through the use of a unique cartridge, equally stable when flying both in the air and in the water. It is noteworthy that the ADF is already entering service with the Ministry of Defense of Russia and other law enforcement agencies.

Another unique product of the Tula gunsmiths is a silent large-caliber special sniper rifle, VSSK Vykhlop. Despite the fact that she uses 12,7 caliber millimeter ammunition, including armor-piercing, her silent and flameless device is so effective that the shot is hardly audible at a distance of several meters from the shooter's position.

Along with VSSK, the Tula KBP also produces another large-caliber self-loading sniper rifle “Vzlomchik”, though it is no longer silent — OVS-96, which is currently in service with the Interior Ministry, internal troops and the Ministry of Defense. 12,7 millimeter caliber bullets fired from this rifle can hit more than 1800 meters at a distance, not only the so-called soft (i.e. enemy enemy), but also “solid” targets - light armored vehicles, cars, etc. According to experts, OCW-96 in certain conditions serves as a full-fledged replacement of more expensive means of destruction such as anti-tank guided missiles.

To new goals

The holding “High-precision complexes” surprisingly accurately feels the situation and the need of not only the domestic, but also the international armament market. Enterprises belonging to this industrial association are always ready to present to potential buyers the products that they need not only now, but in the foreseeable future.

It is worth noting that in many respects such results are related to the fact that holding companies actively invest their profits in promising research and development.

“We are paying special attention to the development of the modernization potential of the fixed range of weapons and military equipment. Much is being done on an initiative basis at the expense of the company's own funds, ”Alexander Denisov, the CEO of the High-Precision Complexes Holding, assured the columnist of the Military Industrial Courier newspaper.

For several years, "High-precision complexes" have become the leading global holding company that develops and manufactures competitive products in various areas, ranging from anti-aircraft missile systems to small arms.

What can you wish a holding on his birthday? Do not slow down, remain the leader in the arms market not only in Russia but also in the world.

Yes, there have always been a lot of the smartest and most talented people in Russia. I will not speak for the defense industry, where we have always been and will be ahead of the rest of the planet. Remember at least our great writers and poets about whom the whole world knows. Can the Poles, for example, compare with us? They have only a couple of more or less famous (and even then not everywhere) writers - Boleslav Prus and Henryk Sienkiewicz. And of the poets, perhaps only Adam Mickiewicz is known. And this is for a country that was going to compete with Russia and laid claim to vast territories from "Mozha to Mozha". I’m not even talking about the Ukrainians, they have no one at all except Taras and Lesya. But how much ambition they all have.
