Sevmash proceeds to purchase weapons for Admiral Nakhimov

Sevmash began to purchase weapons and radio electronics to upgrade the nuclear-powered cruiser Admiral Nakhimov. From the official documents of the enterprise it became known about specific samples of air defense and mine-torpedo weapons, which will be installed on the ship. This site reports Fleetprom.

Sevmash proceeds to purchase weapons for Admiral Nakhimov

According to the Sevmash procurement plan, the Admiral Nakhimov air defense system will be implemented by the C-300FM complex. A similar complex (48 missiles) is located on board the TARKR "Peter the Great".

“This air defense system is designed to defend a ship or a warrant of ships against massive attacks of various means of air attack: airplanes, cruise missiles, including those making a maneuver and flying at extremely low altitudes. The C-300 is capable of firing targets at a distance of up to 150 kilometers and at the same time fighting six targets flying at altitudes up to 10 meters, ”reports FleetProm.

In the near zone, the air defense of the ship will be carried out by the KORTIK-M. He will provide the ship’s defense against “high-precision rocket weapons, airplanes, helicopters, as well as small marine and land targets. "

“A distinctive feature of“ Dirk-M ”is the full automation of work from detection to hitting a target. When firing a single target, the high degree of its defeat is ensured by three lines of defense: it is fired at twice by anti-aircraft missiles and once by 30-mm six-barreled guns, ”the publication says.

The mine and torpedo armament of the cruiser will be represented by the “Package” complex, which is designed “to destroy submarines in the near zone of the ship, as well as to destroy attacking torpedoes”.

The numerical strength of the air group will be preserved: the 3 helicopter will continue to be based on the deck.

The site reminds that the “Admiral Nakhimov” heavy nuclear missile cruiser was delivered for repair in August 1999, in September 2008, the spent nuclear fuel was unloaded from the cruiser, Sevmash on June 13, signed a contract with the Russian Defense Ministry for the repair and modernization of the ship, the 2013 of October 24, the cruiser, was taken to the dock of the company. " The ship must be returned to 2014.

According to Vladimir Spiridopulo, general director of the Northern Design Bureau, “after modernization at Sevmash, the Admiral Nakhimov will become more powerful than the heavily armed ship of the Russian Navy - the Peter the Great Cruiser”.

Help "Fleet Industry": “Admiral Nakhimov” is a heavy nuclear missile cruiser of the 11442 project. It was laid on 17 on May 1983 of the year at the Baltic Shipyard under the name Kalinin and launched on 25 on April 1986 of the year. 30 December 1988 of the year was commissioned. Since 1992, the year is called "Admiral Nakhimov". The ship has a standard displacement of 24300 tons, full - 26190 tons. Its length is 252 meters, width - 28,5 meters, draft - 9,1 meters. Atomic power plant develops power 140000 hp The speed of the ship is 32 node. The crew includes a 727 person. "

By the way, there is an interesting opinion that the Americans were very concerned about the appearance of such ships in our country. The destruction of the Russian squadron led by Peter the Great, according to their calculations, will require the concentration of efforts of four aircraft carrier strike groups simultaneously. When simulating such a battle, it turned out that the destruction of Peter with the security ships would cost the US Navy unprecedentedly expensive - only one out of four aircraft carrier would remain afloat.
I don’t think that our IBM is so powerful that it will take as many as 4 AUGs, but against 1 AUG, I think, completely. It’s just that all skeptical calculations always, for some reason, put one Petya against the whole AUG, and if Petya with the guard ships, and shock Atlanteans?

oops, here is a little whispering, it turns out 150 km is already in a modernized version, and in the base it was 75 km in range.
but the missiles should still be smaller in size, compare the old S-300 and the new S-350, the range of the S-350 is even higher, and now the missiles are not 4, but 12.

Who will provide the control center? Or do the sailors hope that the enemy will operate from medium to high altitudes? Because on the MV, the range of the air defense system is sharply reduced due to the fact that most of the path the target is behind the visible horizon. The real range of the air defense missile system on the target on the MV for "Nakhimov" will be 50 kilometers.

And in the course that missiles of different ranges can be put into launchers from the S-300? Moreover, in TPK. And in the S-350, shorter-range missiles are likely to be looked at about the TPK. Accordingly, the total mass is less and it is already possible to lift a larger number of "pencils".

S-300? Very similar to misinformation (stupid). The S-300 has been discontinued for a long time. The ammunition load of 48 missiles is for drum installations that only the lazy did not scold, cells are used, as a result, b.c can be increased by 2 times and the firing capacity by three. The Atlantes plan to install the S-400 during the modernization, I think in fact, with regard to the Orlans, it will at least be the same (although the S-500, which does not yet exist, asks for that).
Replacing "Granites" with No. Onyx ", figuratively - replacing a bullet gun with a shotgun - the area of damage is larger and the destructive force is less." Caliber "in the distant version still did not go far, but I would unify the air defense cells for it then it would be possible to use the need to increase up to 200 units, and heavy rockets instead of Grants, naturally, Zircon (but in what state it is today, God only knows the customer.
In general, everything that is written is complete bullshit (well, not the stupidity of the customer and the designer)

the fact that I’ve read the work on the marine Torah is still inaudible about the soaked S-400, but I hope that the work is in full swing, well, or the S-300FM will be finished to some kind of FM2. all the same, putting an air defense system which is more than 20 years old is not the best idea.
I hope that, as they wrote in the comments, this is the incompetence of the journalists, all the same, recently the defense industry has been happy and we haven’t gathered upstairs to shove the junk.

I agree. Also surprised by the information about "Fort" e-M. They started talking about the rejection of drum launchers ten years ago. And what's the point of putting the "Fort" if the "Redoubt" has the same 150 km in range. And they are planning to install them on frigates. So where is the frigate with less than 4000 tons of displacement and where is the TARK with its 25 thousand tons. IMHO, at least S-400. With the prospect of installing the S-500.
And "Dirk" looks doubtful. Why not "Shell M"? Time to bring to mind is.

      As where?
The sea "torus" is called a "dagger". And it is very likely that he will be on the "Nakhimov" - on the "Peter" he certainly is. ZRAK alone cannot provide close defense.
There is also a marine "shell". It's just that in the ZRAK class there is a struggle between the Tula KBP Shipunov and the KBTM named after. Nudelman. And it's not a fact that they will leave the "daggers-m" - the first version of the "dagger" caused a number of serious complaints from sailors, their production has already been curtailed (these ZRAK were installed on Russian-built ships "from available stocks"), and the technical condition of the original "daggers" "with" Nakhimov "is hardly good. So, it is quite possible that "adjustments" and "clarifications" will follow - and we will see a "broadsword" or "armor-m" on the TARKR.

Probably, it is so far only about purchases for one of the PU groups - bow or stern.

probably does not mean the fact that before the Dagger, then there are old missiles, new ones have less weight and greater efficiency.
the topic about the dagger also raises a bunch of questions, I also read the negative about it. as about the broadsword, therefore, I was surprised, I hope for new ZRAKI, and as for the shell, I do not really like it. one thing to beat on the Kyrgyz Republic, another thing on maneuvering ammunition. and SAM and armor are pulsed, once acceleration is given and further forward by inertia, one does not maneuver much. though it seems like they recently announced about hypersonic missiles, such as new. maybe there is something new.
PS although I looked at the speed of missiles, from the S-300, they are all hypersonic.

In general, everything is interesting with ZRAK. Of course, the initial concept in theory was interesting: to combine the air defense missile system of the DB and the ZAK on the same platform and first, beyond the effective fire radius of the ZAK, work on the target of the SAM, and then finish off the "survivors" with the ZAK shells. But here's the trouble - the payment for the versatility was the epic mass (and this is a minus to the speed and accuracy of guidance, which is extremely important for the ZAK), as well as problems with accurate fire at the "point" target for the ZAK (anti-ship missiles in the frontal projection) in conditions when the distance between the cannon blocks is a multiple of the target projection dimensions.

We have today: the army is being modernized (RF), enterprises are working, which means employment, salaries, allowances, taxes, social programs. New orders for the defense industry are available (see above for what this gives). Coal is chopped, metal melts. And this is all the work of the economy. There is work, salary, there is population growth. Direct relationship.
"M0skayaku on gilyaku" - Ukrainians continue to howl ...
"Yuzhmash" got up, miners are on strike, morale in the army is falling (and as a result drunkenness and looting), there is no money, salaries are delayed, tariffs are growing by leaps and bounds ...

Europe is scratching its turnips, and counting the grandmothers that have flown out of their hands, along the way talking about sanctions. Intrusive, like mosquitoes, the Polish, the Bulgarians and the Balts are already straining the Europeans themselves. And then there is Greece, too, got into a "pose" and folds the famous figure of three fingers.

    somehow not rosy.
I assumed that the latest weapons would be on board.
the air defense of Admiral Nakhimov will be carried out by the S-300FM complex

I certainly did not hope about the S-500, which still does not go by land, but I thought they would put the S-400 marine.
And who in the subject: what are the fundamental differences between the S-400 and s-300fm?

In the near zone, the air defense of the ship will be carried out by the Cortic-M ZRAK

Aren't you a promising ZRAK "stick"? Although this is a moot point. As I understand it, "sword" and "dagger-m" were developed in different design bureaus. Who is special in this, what is the fundamental difference?
I remember when the question arose about the modernization of the Kortik, it seemed like it was decided to put a "broadsword", but later they finished the Kortik-m.

And it is a pity that nothing is indicated on the CD "Onyx", "Caliber". It’s very interesting to know about his flagship weapon.

We now have 2 promising ZRAK from two design bureaus: "Pantsir-M" from Shipunovtsev (creators of the "dagger") and "Broadsword" from Nudelman. The "broadsword" had problems with missiles, which, according to some sources, were overcome.
"Daggers", judging by the same bmpd, are a thing of the past - their reserves are exhausted, production will not be resumed.

Does the article mean a mistake? either a broadsword or an armor will go to Nakhimov?

          Not so simple (C)
Initially, there were 6 daggers on the Nakhimov. Maybe so far they have decided to limit themselves to the modernization of the "native" ZRAK? Although I doubt something ...

"As you name the ship, so the ship will float!"
P.S. Nakhimov is a great man, naval commander and patriot.
But the battleship of the Imperial Navy "Admiral Nakhimov" and the passenger liner "Admiral Nakhimov" had a bad fate.
Should the ship be renamed "

Admiral Nakhimov was put in for repair in 1999 !. Why didn’t anyone answer for the simple and not putting the ship into operation. What a mess, where was the beholder! When will this repair be completed. And if you repair your car or elevator in the house for 25 years, probably the cries of cheers would have ended long ago. Why am I worried about RUSSIA, and our government, in my opinion, harms it more and combines all the decrees. It's time to take seriously for any frivolous attitude to the decrees of the president. He does not have to work alone. soldier

And how do you expect to carry out modernization in conditions when there is no military industry in the country? To paint the box and the reactor, replace the cable routes and pray that spare parts for the complexes standing on the ship could be found in spare parts or in factories? And get a freshly painted TARKR with weapons from the 80s?

The time from 1999 to 2008 was spent on restoring the production chain and developing / launching a series of new types of weapons.

Well, why yell at the whole of Ivanovo, that they did not put anyone in prison. You are in the subject on the issue of repair atomiccruisers? NOT worth comparing car and ship repairs, not correct.
OP-1 is not for you to throw in a gasoline car at a gas station.

And who said that this is the final version? For our Navy, numerous changes in the composition of weapons during the construction / repair process are a long tradition.

We must take advantage of the fact that the "Gaidarites" did not have time to rot. The second heavy nuclear with such characteristics will certainly strengthen the fleet. But the main thing is a complete audit of the crimes of the Gorbachev-Yeltsin surrender of positions - on all fronts: ideological, industrial, economic, military, political.

Are you on the topic of repairing an atomic cruiser? DO NOT compare the repair of a car and a ship, it’s not correct. OP-1 is not for you to put a gasoline car in a gas station at a gas station.

Are you laughing or fooling around. If you need repair for so many years, it’s better to shoot you or immediately surrender RUSSIA, because if a couple of missiles get into Nakhimov during the fighting, the repair will probably take about 40 years and this will be in good condition and if everyone gives a lift. For such words and deeds on the head do not stroke. soldier fool

I recommend looking at the calendar. The USSR, which built the Eagles, has not been there for 24 years. There is a shipbuilding industry of the Russian Federation, which hardly drags the production of frigates, now and then stumbling over components and mechanisms (the last time - about the gas turbine engine). But you can still remember - how many the first "Boreas" were built and how many "Grenas" were made.

The fact that Nakhimov was put into repair in 1999 does not mean, for example, that sufficient funds were allocated for this repair. And how would Sevmash repair "Nakhimov" if at the same time he was filling the "Gorshka" with bumps. By the way, it's good that the "pot" went first - at least the personnel were trained.

Do you want to repair "Nakhimov" in the early 2000s? You are welcome. "Main caliber" - SLCM - no. SAM - produced almost by the piece. ZRAK - there is only from old stocks. Radar - the existing ones are outdated, the new ones are still in development. The qualifications of the workers are such that they can safely drop a heavy special crane worth 1 million euros from the wall into the dock.

And that there was a war or devastation after Mamai, no - the MOTHERLAND was sold for 30 bucks and all this was done by two acrobat brothers. And until now, we are holding on only due to reserves and developments in the USSR. They made almost a banana from the WORLD country ..... But now the time has changed and needs to be repaired as quickly as possible, otherwise you may not have time ... soldier
