After the capture of Tripoli

The war in the capital of Libya is over. The last battles were for Tripoli International Airport and the southern areas of the city.
On Monday, 29 August, some signs of a return to normal life were noted in the Libyan capital Tripoli: the central market was reopened, selling vegetables, meat and other necessary foodstuffs, and in some areas there was a free distribution of drinking water to the population.
According to European media, Muammar Gaddafi and his second son Saif al-Islam went to the city of Beni Walid in 100 km southeast of Tripoli, where supporters of the dictator gathered. Some areas of Beni Walid are controlled by members of the Warfalla tribe - one of the most influential in Libya.
In the collection you will find photos taken in Tripoli at the end of last week.
