T-14 "Armata" and "Kurganets-25" Moscow streets in the parade will not spoil

Armored vehicles of the unified platforms "Armata" - Tanks T-14 and heavy infantry fighting vehicles, as well as Kurgan combat vehicles must put on asphalt shoes, the agency said Messenger of Mordovia.

T-14 "Armata" and "Kurganets-25" Moscow streets in the parade will not spoil

The official website of “zakupki.gov” has information about the electronic auction for the Ministry of Defense for the procurement of “693-29-Sb101 asphalt shoes for B-10 tracked vehicles (693 ob), B-11 (695 obes). As well as asphalt shoes 148.55.008sb-1 to the caterpillar of the Armata T-14 tank and the Armata heavy infantry vehicle - the BMP ”.

According to military experts, judging by the notation, "B-10 (v. 693), B-11 (v. 695) are medium tracked infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers of the unified Kurganets-25 family."

The agency notes that, apparently, the tank "Armata" for the first time at the official level is named as T-14.

“Messenger of Mordovia” reminds that asphalt shoes are an indispensable attribute of equipment involved in parades. As is well known, next year in the parade on Red Square, dedicated to the 70 anniversary of the Victory, should take part the latest models of military equipment, among which are still secret armored vehicles of the families “Kurganets-25” and “Armata”.

The idea is not new, such shoes were used even on tractors. In the picture, the T-108 tractor of 1962 release, on the tracks - asphalt shoes. Museum exhibit of the ChTZ plant. And in the parades, tanks with rubberized tracks have been driving for several years.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation posted on the official procurement site information on several tenders for the maintenance and repair of new models of military equipment during the preparation and conduct of the Victory Parade in 2015. The total cost of work carried out during the period from March 1 to May 12 of the next year in military unit 23636, deployed in Alabino near Moscow, will amount to 25,4 million rubles.

Among the weapons and military equipment are listed

            1. Products of OJSC Kurganmashzavod
            · Multi-purpose armored personnel carriers of the airborne forces BTR-MDM (object 955M) - 12 units,
            · Combat vehicles BMD-4M (object 960M) - 12 units,
            · Caterpillar armored personnel carriers "Kurganets-25" (object 693, tracked vehicle B-11) - 12 units,
            · Caterpillar infantry fighting vehicles "Kurganets-25" (object 695, tracked vehicle B-11) - 12 units,

            2. Products of OAO NPK Uralvagonzavod
            · T-14 Armata tanks (object 148) - 12 units,
            · Armata infantry fighting vehicles (object 149) - 12 units,
            · Armored repair and recovery vehicles BREM-1 (object 608) - 10 units,

            3. Products of the Military Industrial Company LLC
            · Armored personnel carriers "Boomerang" (VPK-7829?) - 12 units.

It should be noted that all samples will be experimental, made in the course of the relevant R&D. Judging by the procurement schedule of the RF Ministry of Defense, it also intended to hold similar tenders in October for servicing participating in the Parade in honor of the 70th anniversary of the end of the Great Patriotic War of 12 152 mm self-propelled artillery units "Coalition-SV", 12 operational tactical the Iskander missile system and the same number of war mashines of the Kornet anti-tank missile system. But so far, information about the placement of these orders on the procurement website has not been posted.

Where did they apply? In the museum! He lived for fifty-six years and had never seen such a thing. I saw marshy, even saw the T-60 without a tower by geologists, when I was a kid, I saw modern ones based on the BMP a year ago, but I didn’t see this, and even the T-108. Maybe it is in one copy?

In all cities where a military parade is held using heavy caterpillar equipment, special pads are applied on this equipment a long time ago that reduce the pressure of the edges of the tracks on the asphalt. But the traces of the passage of a column of tanks or self-propelled guns, etc. technicians still remain. I’ll tell you, if there weren’t these special pads, then all the asphalt would be turned over in one pass of the column. Therefore, the passage of tanks through the streets is prohibited. These pads will obviously be more advanced in order to further reduce the load on the asphalt.

I read a long time ago in the Technology of Youth 198 years that the S-60 and S-65 were domestic developments, and with the S-80 - already copies of Caterpillar went (from Lendlizovskie tractors of the Second World War).

The video with the restored S-65 is on the pipe:

The crews of the latest Russian tanks on the Armata platform will have a panoramic view of the terrain.

“We want to see the battlefield practically at 360 degrees,” said Vyacheslav Khalitov, deputy general director of the Uralvagonzavod corporation, in an interview with the Russian News Service, quoted by Interfax-AVN.

The interlocutor also noted that the new machines increase the "information speed" in terms of searching and destroying targets, as well as examining the results of fire damage.

According to Khalitov, the characteristics of a promising tank are several times higher than the indicators of the previous, fourth generation, and also by 25-30 percent surpasses all existing analogues in the world.

    - There is an integral indicator - the coefficient of the military-technical level. According to it, the Russian main battle tank T-72B is taken as a unit. In relation to this machine, the indicator of the military-technical level of the "Armata" grows almost fourfold, - explained the deputy head of UVZ.

Development work on the machine is at the stage of preliminary tests. Khalitov noted that all the characteristics laid down are confirmed, and said that the new tank uses an unconventional layout scheme, provides full-range protection, as well as high crew survivability and survivability of the vehicle as a whole. - In modern tanks, ammunition, fuel and crew are almost nearby. In this project, this issue is removed. Ammunition, fuel and people are separated from each other, ”Khalitov said.

In addition, the layout of the new tank is based on the principle of modular construction, which relates to firepower and protective properties. In particular, the location of the power plant, the developers provide both in the bow of the car and in the stern.

Tanks "Armata" will belong to the middle, not the heavy class. As for the caliber of the gun, several options are being considered, according to Khalitov. The representative of UVZ added that on the basis of the universal armored platform it is also possible to create a heavy infantry fighting vehicle, a repair and location vehicle and other combat support armored vehicles.

AK-47, AK-74, AK-2012 in abbreviated form 12. Everything is logical here. "Armata" is a completely new class of combat vehicles, which are initially the base platform for various combat systems, and therefore the new numbering. "Armata" is not a continuation of the development of any machine, it is the beginning of the pedigree of a new weapon.

New military equipment for ground forces is very cool. NATO will get bored with this news. A "ground operation", as they like to put it at home, against Russia or its interests is increasingly like a senseless suicide for them.

By the fact that the year 2014, it turned out similarly in 2012 with the AK-12, only Kalashik will not be born in any way ...

Personally, I do not like the fact that the menagerie in ground-based armored vehicles from Armata, Kurganets, and still no one is bored. It would be much more convenient if absolutely all ground equipment were exclusively based on Almaty.

All heavy tracked armored vehicles are on the Armata platform
All medium tracked armored vehicles - on the Kurganets platform
All wheeled armored vehicles are on the Boomerang platform

A total of THREE platforms for three different kinds of armored vehicles.

What do not you like? Was the wheeled armored personnel carrier supposed to be made on the platform of the heavy tracked "Armata"?

They won’t endure anything, but they will bend down, there’s the way for them, we won’t cry for them, we will pour and drink to the peace of mind of the NATO bloc.

Come on, guys, "minus" ...! "Youthful" ardor is only welcome ... And, now, you are my tankmen, beginners, answer one question: "The latest model of the USSR tank and the first model of the Russian tank ... Modifications, not into account, this is the grinding of perfection ... Well, and ...?! "

On the whole, I agree, but: - it was necessary in 23 of the year to put aside all the tried-and-tested solutions that had been worked out over several decades and urgently develop a new tank, a fundamentally new one — or, nevertheless, improve something that had some potential in the conditions of severe deficit financing and simply survival?
And another question, excuse me, I'm not a tanker and I could be wrong - and most of the foreign tanks in service in the states, Germany, France and Israel are all fundamentally new vehicles or are they modernized models of the 80s-90s? How many years will you not tell Abrams?
