Ships of repair, reserve and conservation of the Russian Navy

74
I continue to post a series of photo reviews of the ships of the Russian Navy. At this time, warships and boats, submarines and support vessels, which are in reserve or put into conservation, as well as undergoing long-term repair / modernization, are presented.

Unfortunately, many of the ships in the reserve have found their eternal rest. Except how to cut for scrap, nothing else for them is to be expected. On the other hand, modernization work began on a number of ships.

As far as I can tell, the list is far from complete, please add the missing ships with photos in the comments.

Yes, the article has many questions ...
Actually, I was struck by the large landing craft "Caesar Kunikov" ...
      In the article:
"Large landing craft" Caesar Kunikov "project 775 / II. Under repair and modernization since July 2013. Part of the Red Banner Black Sea Fleet
From the same wiki, and from media plots:
"From May 5 to May 8, 2015, he visited Istanbul, where he presented the Russian Federation at the international arms exhibition IDEF-2015.
In October 2015, Caesar Kunikov was sent to Syria with a load of ammunition and weapons for the Syrian army. "
Yes, and on the nuclear submarine flashed something that already goes to the database ... "Karp" in two places and with different comments.
Thank you very much for the photo to the author! But the article was whipped up, with unverified data ...
      Good day!

TRPKSN project 941, if they are not radically modernized, unfortunately, they will not return to the fleet - there simply are no missiles for them. Who needs unarmed giants? True, on one of the four boats, two shafts were altered for testing Bulava missiles.
The diesel-electric submarine "B-187" of project 877 has been being repaired in Komsomolsk-on-Amur for ten years already, the end and edge of this prolonged repair is not visible.
It seems to me very doubtful the need to repair the hopelessly outdated diesel-electric submarine "B-380" project 641B at the Black Sea Fleet.

Then I had such a fantastic thought. Shark can be converted to a rescue submarine. The difference between the underwater displacement and the surface is 48-000 = 23 (wiki). Less ammunition, weapons systems and other and other things as a result, the difference will probably exceed 200. 24 is the lifting force of this submarine. The underwater displacement of the largest submarines of the Russian Navy after the Shark is Antei and Borey at 800, i.e. the Shark can be lifted from the bottom by the given compensation of the submarine. Captures can be something like giant crabs encircling the diameter of the hull. Who has any thoughts on this?

If the "Kursk" memory does not fail, the total was within 24000 tons. That is, theoretically, such a rescuer could raise it. Yes

According to Archimedes’s law, such large boats will not work, the buoyancy margin will be either 0 or negative, but diesels are quite possible, but again, such a bunch will not go into a single dock, the sediment will be 20 meters, but it’s special as a carrier. of apparatuses and for special operations, the very thing that directly begs one for the Pacific Fleet is the second for the SF and even as a transporter it is quite possible to either convert 200 into the carrier of cruise missiles, or even more.

You can’t just pick up a crane like a submarine with a crane. It is necessary to study the state of the hull, the bottom, the state of the reactor, in short it is not worth it. It’s better to upgrade to modern rockets and electronics.

In theory, of course. But "Vladikavkaz" is returning to service soon, and "Lazarev" is probably not. There are ships that should be commissioned within a year, and there are those that will be written off during this year. To include them in one list, in my opinion, is not entirely correct. Sorry for "Kharlamov". the youngest of the 1155 projects. It would be necessary to repair it, we do not have so many ships of the first rank. If you really need a first rank ship instead of the Moscow in the Black Sea, it is better to restore it than the Kerch.

You see, this is quite difficult to do due to the lack of specific and correct information about their future fate.
This is the current list at the moment that the ships are expecting - who knows, many have been repaired for 10 years, and as a result they are likely to be scrapped, but they can be killed and removed from the reserve to the military personnel.
Absolutely precisely about return it is possible to speak only about 1 Orlan, 1 Atlanta and couple of submarines

956 - while they are trying to revive on the 2 TOF, it is more like Ochakov’s repair. The rest are already sorted out in order for the three living and it is unlikely that they will be restored.
Harley - they talked about repairs, but then they began to disassemble for scarce spare parts.
Kerch - in fact, all the feed engine burned out, the wiring burned out, the hull sections lost their strength characteristics. They can paint and leave Flagship in Tug, but that is if Moscow orders.
Terrible - they will actively repair it, maybe they will even put Uranus.
Olshansky - politics, neither here nor here.
Vladimir - it will please the kids in Artek, the turbines have already been torn out and the devices deactivated. Also, 2 built ships of this project, the plant will be disposed of their commissioning is recognized as inappropriate.
Ryabikov - is dead, used only as a floating warehouse, and in the Crimean as a barrage in tow for healthy.
941 - they’ll both saw, there are no sponsors ... For sawing is very expensive.
B-380 - after closing the shop with Ochakov, she took on the role of laundering money for repairs. No need for a word at all, especially given the arrival of new boats.

The ship is not really going anywhere, but is in reserve. In 1991 (before the collapse of the USSR), if memory serves, he passed the cap. repairs in Poland, until October 1992 stood in the city of Baltiysk without going anywhere, (the reason, noise in the main engine, the malfunction was eliminated by specialists from the Yantar plant) in the same October made the transition to its permanent base in Goryachy Ruchyi.

The fleet is not operational without vessels of the measuring complex. Vessels and now they are in service once again preparing repair documents, which they never they didn’t see it from the moment of construction. There were only dock repairs, and they weren’t on time. However, the sad topic of the “Domestic ship repair” is still awaiting investigation. Crews and ships need to be erected a monument for saving equipment and fulfilling all assigned tasks.

BOD pr.1155.1 "Admiral Chabanenko" (SF), at least from the fall of 2013. The most optimistic date for the completion of the repair and transfer of the ship to the fleet is the end of 2015.

BOD pr. 1155 "Admiral Tributs" (Pacific Fleet). In 2014, he underwent scheduled repairs at Dalzavod. State contract R / 1/8/0476 / GK-13-DGOZ for the repair of Tributs was concluded on September 27, 2013 with Zvezda as the sole contractor. As part of it, on October 7, an agreement was signed with Dalzavod as a co-contractor for service and repair work with the extension of overhaul periods. The term of work is until July 30, 2015.

In general, of course, there should be a generational change, the ship has adequately fulfilled its due time and with honor ... but so, without making up, without a decent replacement, this should not be in principle

By the way, it would take 5-10 years to modernize and return large NKs to the maximum. And nuclear submarines, especially Project 941 "Sharks", may find their place in the fleet. With the lead nuclear submarine 941 of the project, I went to the chassis. Commemorative contraption. love

I am not a sailor. But the article shocked me. And that ships cannot be screwed up like planes (for example, generation 4, 4 +) ??? Is it really cheaper to build again than a deep modernization of the ship? After all, every day you can say the ship kills.

... Is it possible to build again cheaper than a deep modernization of the ship? ...

Russia has already gone through a similar rout of the fleet. 1918-1925 years, under Khrushchev in 60, then under Yeltsin in 90. The whole problem is that the military has not outlived the slave syndrome. What they are ordered is what they do. They said to write off - and they meekly obey. You will begin to be indignant - you will fly away to a civilian, without benefits and with a wolf ticket. No matter how we dislike the USA, they have all the military equipment used to the stop. The reserve (preservation for oneself), or sub-shaman and vparivat allies fighting units, or spare parts by weight ... Only rust is removed for re-melting, which will be swept away with a broom after disassembly. Although of course they also have jambs. Flashed on the Web, but this is not a system.
The reason is that the Guarantor got a bit late, but thanks for that too!
If it were "in the Soviet way" it would be possible to restore 70 percent in a couple of years.
First: - include crews in the repair, for an additional payment, at least at the rates of shipbuilding. Repairing the ship on which you fight is a sacred matter, especially if for an extra charge, not for soldering.
The second: - to strain the chefs (the initiative of each city or town) is included in the patronage over the restoration of the ship. Money, + people for repairs, unemployed thu * wa hu * cha, one could pick up specialists from the CIS for repairs. There are people there who have not completely forgotten their native specialty. Personnel of course - the main thing!
Third: - money under the control of the supervisory board (ship commander, chiefs + the public) and most importantly - for embezzlement (embezzlement) - rass ... L, no, it won’t go, the TROIKA court - and to the commandant’s sentence to be sent to the convoy until the end of the repair, and what would not be bored - to the working team on the same ship from which they stole money. This will dramatically increase the integrity of financiers when their brothers change their white collars for a robe and scrape rust on the spacings with raskletkami. For hard work - encourage once a month date with wife for the WHOLE night! laughing
Everything is decided - there would be political will!
Liberal journalists and human rights activists who will not support the urgently needed initiative to increase the fleet’s combat readiness - there, on the commandant’s office, to the working team to improve skills and study the issue as close as possible to real life! laughing
Everything is solved! And after a year of shock chord work - all ships will be combat-ready and shine like a cat ... eyes! laughing

This applies not only to military sailors, but to all military personnel (tankers, pilots, and others).

TARKR "Admiral Ushakov" project 1144 "Orlan". Most likely, will go to recycling. Included in the Red Banner Northern Fleet

Rogozin already unsubscribed in 2012 that Kirov will be disposed of.

BOD "Kerch" project 1134B "Berkut-B". On repair since June 2014 g. After a fire, the question of the disposal of the ship. Included in the Red Banner Black Sea Fleet

Kerch will also be disposed of. There was already a message.

EM "Fearless", EM "Burny", EM "Restless" project 956 "Sarych"

These are also on the recycling list. The Pacific Fleet now simply does not have the capacity for their global repair in the near future, and if their "long-term repair" takes another 10 years, then they will have to be written off immediately after the repair.

Long-term repairs ...., repairs ...., put on reserve ...., subject to disposal ..... And that's all? And what will remain in the fleet? Where are the "leaders", where are the new corvettes, IPC, MTSH, MRK? I even saw a BTSH like "Yakhont" as part of the Black Sea Fleet, I did practice on it in 1978 ("seven tons of nails"), I thought they were gone.

Thank you for the article. Served on "Burny" 89-90. There was a time. It was a good ship. I hope it will still serve Russia. In general, KTOF has a deplorable situation with surface ships since the 90s, in my opinion, not a single new one !!!

Next I will upload photos of warships of the Russian fleets.
I think to start with the Northern Fleet - there are 80 ships. I don’t know whether to split into 2 parts by 40 photo or in one - but it will be very cumbersome

given that in the near future should replenish the ranks of our fleets in the next couple of years

KTOF now has no choice, because there are simply no new ships and no for a long time. Why will we fight? One Varangian or what? There is only one such destroyer in the fleet in the entire fleet! Missile boats for the entire KTOF will not be enough, the region is huge, and the fleet’s area of responsibility is half the ball. And there is a repair where the base was huge during the Soviet Union, but they still didn’t destroy it. The dalzavod is probably alive, but everything that went right up to the aircraft-carrying cruisers was repaired there.

It is more correct to call the wording "long-term repair", "reserve" and in some cases "repair" - sludge or floating spare parts. We must call them by their proper names.
