Al-Arabiya TV channel notes that the state of the self-proclaimed Caliph is critical.
Information about the injury of the leader of the IG was also confirmed by Iraqi Defense Minister of Iraq Khalid al-Abidi. According to him, the “caliph of the Islamic state” is seriously wounded, and his deputy, who was in charge of recruiting new fighters, was killed.
November 8th coalition aviation attacked a building in the Iraqi city of Al Qa'im near the Syrian border, which hosted a meeting of leaders of the Islamic State.
According to Al-Arabia, the head of the group Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was injured as a result of the air strike. In addition, dozens of field commanders were killed or injured.
The fact of the raid on the cities of Al-Qaim and Mosul was confirmed by representatives of the Pentagon, who noted that aviation had managed to bomb a convoy of 10 armored vehicles. However, the American military did not provide official confirmation of the injury or death of al-Baghdadi.
