Su-35C went to the exhibition Airshow China 2014

Airshow China 11 is due to open in Zhuhai on November 2014th. During this event, Chinese and foreign aircraft building organizations will showcase their latest developments and negotiate the supply of a product. One of the largest expositions at the exhibition will be presented by Russian aviation industry. Several enterprises from Russia should present already known and new developments. In addition, a planned demonstration of equipment in a static parking lot. The highlight of the Russian exposition should be the Su-35S fighter of generation 4 ++.

Russian fighter Su-35 was spotted in the Chinese city of Taiyuan (Renmin Zhibao) 05 / 11 / 2014

The newest Russian fighter, which will take part in the Airshow China 2014 exhibition, went to China last Thursday. The plane rose from the airfield in Komsomolsk-on-Amur and made a six-hour flight to Zhuhai with one intermediate landing. In the cockpit of the fighter was test pilot Hero of Russia Sergei Bogdan. The Su-35С aircraft will also perform demonstration flights under the direction of S. Bogdan. Visitors of the cabin will be able to see not only the demonstrative flights of the new Russian aircraft, but also to examine it close to it - Su-35С will be located at one of the exhibition sites.

The newest Su-35С fighters are currently being mass-produced by order of the Russian Air Force. By the end of 2015, the air force should receive 48 of such aircraft. Almost half the order has now been completed - more than two dozen aircraft have been handed over to the military. After the completion of the current order, it is planned to sign another contract, due to which, by the end of the decade, 96 Su-35С fighters will be operated in total by the Air Force.

The Su-35S aircraft is another machine, created on the basis of the successful Su-27 family, however, it has a number of serious differences from its previous representatives. New fighters are equipped with a radar station "Irbis" with a phased antenna array capable of detecting targets (EPR 3 sq. M) at distances up to 400 km. Su-35C has a built-in automatic gun and 12 points for the suspension of rocket and bomb weapons. The aircraft is capable of carrying various guided and unguided weapons, which can be used to destroy air, ground and surface targets.

Su-35C production aircraft are equipped with AL-41F1C turbojet engines with an electronic-mechanical control system and thrust vector control. At maximum, these engines develop thrust up to 8800 kg, using full afterburner - 14000 kg. Thrust vector deviates within 20 ° from the axis. Two engines AL-41F1С allow the fighter to reach speeds of at least 2400 km / h. According to some reports, without the use of afterburner, the Su-35C accelerates to 1300 km / h.

Due to the high characteristics of the newest Su-35C fighter is of interest not only for the air forces of Russia, but also for other states. Over the past years, the possibility of supplying this technology to China has been actively discussed. Moreover, it was reported about holding some negotiations on the subject of such a contract. The first reports that China has shown interest in the Su-35, appeared in the 2008 year. In the spring of 2012, the media reported that the Chinese military could acquire at least 40 Russian aircraft, but Russia is ready to sell the equipment only on the condition that China will not copy it.

In November, 2012, the information appeared on the preliminary agreement of Russia and China. The future contract was supposed to be signed in the next few years. It was alleged that the Chinese military would order the 24 of the Su-35C aircraft. In March, 2013, the Chinese media reported on the signing of a framework agreement for the supply of Russian fighters. Finally, in July, 2014 appeared information about the continuation of the technical negotiations on the contract.

In discussions of future deliveries of Su-35С fighters to China, the problem of copying Russian designs by the Chinese industry was repeatedly raised. So, from the beginning of the nineties, Russia supplied the Su-27 fighter jets to China. A little later, the Chinese aircraft manufacturers introduced the J-11. Despite the significant similarity with the Su-27, this machine was positioned solely as its own Chinese development. Later this situation was repeated several times. For example, the Chinese anti-aircraft missile system HQ-9 is considered to be a modified version of the Russian C-300PMU.

Separate consideration is another example from the field of combat aircraft. Back in the nineties, China offered to buy several deck fighters Su-33. However, their small number and the first information about the J-11 aircraft led to the fact that the Russian side refused to conclude a contract. Later, China purchased from Ukraine the remaining prototype of the Soviet carrier-based fighter and part of the documentation on it. A few years after that, the first flight of the J-15 carrier-based fighter, also called its own design, took place.

This practice has led to reasonable concerns. Receiving the promised 1,5 billion US dollars for a batch of X-NUMX Su-24s can have at least ambiguous consequences in the form of the appearance of their Chinese copies. It faces both economic and military-political or military-technical problems. For this reason, there is still an opinion that one should not sell the latest domestic aircraft to China.

Nevertheless, despite the possible risks, negotiations on the future contract continue. In addition, the Su-35C fighter will be shown at the upcoming Airshow China 2014. Russian aircraft will become an exhibit at a static parking lot, as well as take part in demonstration flights. The fighter on display has been in China for several days and is preparing to participate in the exhibition.

Meanwhile, the Chinese public is also discussing the arrival of the newest Russian fighter. As in many such discussions, opinions are divided. Some fans of technology believe that the purchase of Russian Su-35С should have a beneficial effect on the state of the PLA Air Force, while others criticize such a deal. Of particular interest are discussions of photographs of the Russian fighter. So, for example, some participants in the discussions were embarrassed by the appearance of the Su-35C. The close-up photographs show how the fuselage skin bends between the power elements of the structure. This fact causes both bewilderment and harsh criticism, including using not quite decent expressions. At the same time, the Chinese note the high production culture of their newest J-20 and JF-17 aircraft.

Apparently, the military and political leadership of China does not share the opinion of ardent critics of the Russian fighter, who remained dissatisfied with the appearance of the skin. Negotiations on the new contract continue and are likely to end as soon as possible. In addition, according to the Rossiyskaya Gazeta, the Su-35С aircraft arrived in Zhuhai precisely at the insistence of the Chinese side. Thus, this fighter is completely satisfied with the potential customer in the face of China and should soon become the subject of a firm contract.

As a result of the implementation of the planned contract for the Air Force, the People’s Liberation Army of China will receive a number of modern generation fighters 4 ++, which can significantly increase the combat capability of the units. For Russia, this contract is beneficial primarily from an economic point of view. In the spring of 2012, it was reported that for 48 fighters, China is ready to give about 4 billion US dollars. To date, the order volume has decreased significantly. According to the latest reports on this score, the total cost of 24 Su-35С should be 1,5 billion dollars. Thus, the Russian aircraft manufacturers will receive additional profits, as well as simplify the process of promoting the new aircraft on the international market.

In the coming days, Chinese specialists and lovers of military equipment will be able to personally see the newest Russian fighter planned for purchase for the air force. In addition, the results of negotiations on the purchase of 24 aircraft should be announced soon. In the meantime, Su-35С fighters are being built exclusively for the Russian Air Force. Until the end of the decade, their total number can reach 96 units.

The Chinese on the net already managed to crap our plane, Dp, and besides, they accused us of plagiarizing T-50 (like we stole the design and engines from China and the USA). So they were definitely never friends and never will be.

It is not good to have such an approach to the sale of defense industry products! Politics is the economy and vice versa. I am a reinforced concrete advocate of the approach to China as: 1) A profitable partner (and not a friend) for a given political period of time; 2) Making decisions on the sale of the latest military complexes to China should be carefully weighed and not in a hurry; 3) When discussing any plans with China (and not only with it), it is necessary to take into account the strategic interests of your country, first of all. Pharisaism and gagging are unacceptable. If we make certain (but not critical!) Concessions, we demand adequate from the Chinese side as well!

It also has economic as a result of the political one, simply no one else will give loans, but why give it just like that if you can also get an airplane (and all its technologies)? ^^

I'm sorry I did not see this plot on TV .... but! I think that the Chinese drool at the sight of this handsome man! So far, apart from the miserable likeness of our SUSHEKS with their engines, to put it mildly, with not very good engines, they haven’t created anything worthwhile .......... All their beautiful pictures about the super inconspicuous 5th generation remain at the embryonic stage .. ... and by the way very similar to one Russian MiG model that did not go into production and development

Beautiful and elegant in its own way…. And the whole point is that this 35th Drying and "with the fuselage skin bent between the structural elements" flies and has characteristics better than the newest J-20 and JF-17 aircraft made "with a high culture of production" ... Here is their "toad" and crushed ...

I also saw this photo with a “rough” skin, which most likely has nothing to do with the Su-35 bn 08 red. I saw this photo in high resolution and there was clearly a not very professional overlay in the photo editor of number 08 on the background of an aircraft of unknown origin (most likely Chinese) or an obvious increase in distortions and deformations.
I did not find the starboard 08 from a close range on the network, but I think the following photo will give a complete picture of the quality of the Russian assembly in full (to the envy of the same Chinese):

The plane itself is super - and the view is really not very. I’m waiting for the VAF - maybe he will tell you that this is such a high-tech casing, and so conceived? No, well, to make a cool airplane and like that on the skin - is it really impossible to pull it up here too? Here the AK-12 assault rifle has recently seen, I believe that the assault rifle is cool. But look ... Again, the familiar scuffs on the places I knew from my AKM from the Army - the bluing is erased. I haven’t seen this on any Israeli machine gun - there is some kind of special plastic there. In Russia, they do not know how to make such plastic?

I heard that the Germans got several MiG-29s after the unification of Germany. The Air Force command was surprised that in some places the skin is rough and rough, how can this be on an aircraft with such high performance? The command was given to "clean up". Cleaned up. The German MiGs immediately deteriorated stability and controllability, it turns out that the effect of dolphin skin was used in the skin. I don't know, maybe these are fairy tales, I'm not an aircraft engineer. Maybe there is something similar in the Su-35?

The fifth-generation Chinese export fighter J-31 will fly on the Russian aircraft engine RD-93, said the head of the Rosoboronexport delegation at the aerospace exhibition in Juhai (China), head of the Air Force department Sergey Kornev. “The J-31 with the Russian RD-93 engine is considered an export program capable of competing with the fifth-generation American aircraft F-35 in regional markets,” said Kornev, quoted by RIA Novosti. He recalled that two fifth-generation fighter jets, the J-20 and the J-31, are being developed in China, which testifies to the high potential of Chinese science, design ideas and the aviation industry.

Regarding the deformation of the skin, that is, such a coefficient of thermal expansion, for those who are not in the know, this is when the metal expands when heated, and when it is firmly riveted to the power elements of the fuselage, it begins to deform in the heat! An attempt to sell suggests
    - that our generals do not consider this aircraft as the main or substitute for the Su-27 fighter-interceptor. Most likely, the tests showed not very high efficiency, even in comparison with the modernized "dryers".
    - our military specialists still believe in the "infallibility of the Chinese" and their word "do not copy". I also think they believe that while the Chinese industry is not able to copy the engine (If the glider does not represent any miracles, electronics + avionics - the Chinese will put their own (I think better), then they have problems with the engines.)
    - but, most importantly, I think this is an attempt to appease the Chinese. But the Chinese are not stupid. After the 2000s, they grew wiser. I think they will again have us "in the Eastern" way.

If only. Since the 90s, our rulers are inclined to export even more modern equipment than our troops have. The rest is not entirely clear. Nobody has been producing clean fighter interceptors for a long time. On the Su-35, of course, it far surpasses the Su- 27CM, CM3.

Nobody believes anyone. It’s just that the deal is, as they rightly pointed out, political in nature. They can be obtained by engine technology for some kind of preferences. They can copy the engine, but there is no threat to export from it. They are needed for their new aircraft.
For example, how many China exported clones of Su-27 (J-11)? The answer is zero.

They could not export clones of Su-27 (J-11), for simple reasons: they could not establish the production of engines, which they still acquire in large quantities (Rybinsk \ Perm). In addition, the Su-27 (J-11) - according to its explo-technical conditions, is not very suitable for most armies in the world: it eats a lot, in exploit it is capricious. Not all states can afford such a luxury. Easier to purchase easier and cheaper.

Well, we are successfully exposing the Su-27 / Su-30 family. The bottom line is that the threat from the notorious copying is greatly exaggerated. You only need to draw up normal contracts. Not allowing for example to re-export engines.

In my opinion, this type of equipment is not for sale at all .. On the agenda is the 3rd world and the main task of avoiding its hot phase, in SU35 and is one of the "coolers" today, this is one of the most advanced production aircraft and it can only compete with f22, and then (after the deal with the Indians) is a big question .. But what picture do we see in our troops? By the end of 2020, they plan to put into operation 96 cars ... And this despite the fact that the USA ALREADY has it! There are 187 f22 in service .. Tell me 40 cars that they want to sell to China will definitely be superfluous in our Air Force? It is clear that in the current situation China is twisting its arms as best it can, and it is not just about money. And yet, given the workload of our aircraft factories, I would like to see these machines in our troops, and not in the army of our eastern neighbor. money is nonsense money is, it's better to spend it on airplanes than on payments of credit interest to bourgeois banks ..

Ours, if they sell it to China, it will be inferior in some respects in its characteristics compared to that which will be supplied for our aviation. This was already the case with SU-27 aircraft when Chinese intelligence in the early 90s bought some blocks for this through our military aircraft that did not go for export. It was until they were covered by our counterintelligence, if my memory serves me, in the Amur Region.

Think of the crumpled skin, it flies gorgeous! But here, the photo clearly shows the absence of a rivet, this is of course surprising. Or is it in the order of things? recourse

In China, experts do not sit on blogs, so I’ll absolutely drum what they write there =)
Well, their experts know what kind of car. They know better than us. They dream of alloys used in engines, but they can’t repeat the technology, this is not copy paste for you, where you can disassemble the skin and sketch patterns, but production technology.

And yes, regarding the skin, this plane is not for sale. In addition, as already said, I'm sure that at the height, where -60 it aligns.

I would like everything to be as you write, I would really like to. But in the current political situation, China will sell (give) almost everything, and if it goes on like that, then they will reveal secrets.

The Chinese promised not to copy our aircraft, but stipulated that they could use its engines on their latest fifth-generation J-31 aircraft. So their engines do not reach these parameters, and their resource is two times lower than Russian! Still rejected spare engines for them! Our kind soul!

on TV showed that the Chinese did not like the rough layout of the aircraft skin. only meet on clothes and escorted by the mind.

When did they learn to do better ???? This is not sneakers to sew.
In general, it would be better for Hindus to sell.

The Chinese are beautiful, not only have they taken all the technologies (let's admit that they’ll definitely sell 5 aircraft and that’s all over), they also crap.

The Chinese on the net already managed to crap our plane, Dp, and besides, they accused us of plagiarizing T-50 (like we stole the design and engines from China and the USA). So they were definitely never friends and never will be.

this is all the usual PR moves ... each country criticizes the products of competitors and praises its own ... but in fact, if the Chinese believed the truth was that our dry is bad, they would order f-35 from amers

It would be nice to buy what’s better, but in the blogs people sit and discuss the plane for the most part people who are far from aviation, who see only the exterior of the airframe, and it flies really super, when it turned around I was stunned by this alignment, we have, what to be proud of.
