Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Alasania dismissed

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili fired Defense Minister Irakli Alasania. The reason for the resignation of the man who continued the bellicose rhetoric addressed to Russia was explained by the fact that Alasania interfered with the work of the prosecutor's office. The Georgian press, referring to the press-secretary of the head of the government, reports that Irakli Alasania did not cooperate with the prosecutor’s office, which was involved in criminal cases opened against several former state officials.
RIA News reports that Mindia Janelidze occupied the post of Georgian Minister of Defense. This man served as head of the National Security Council and worked in the Intelligence Service.
Georgian Prime Minister Garibashvili presented Dzhanelidze as follows (quoted from a web resource Georgia.Online):
I present the new Minister of Defense Mindia Janelidze. He was my security assistant. He is a lawyer by profession. He received additional education in the USA and the UK. He worked in the Intelligence Service of Georgia, from 2012 to the beginning of 2014, he headed the Counterintelligence Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. Mindia Janelidze has the rank of colonel, he received various awards, he has a family - a spouse and three children. I want to wish Mindia Janelidze success. I hope that he will be a better minister than his predecessor.
It is reported that the previous head of the Georgian military department Alasania recently actively criticized the actions of the prosecutor's office, calling her work a political order.
In addition to Irakli Alasania, the ministers of the Georgian government ceased to be Alexi Petriashvili (Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration), Maya Panjikidze (Georgian Foreign Minister). It is noteworthy that the wife of the former Georgian Defense Minister Alasania, Natia, is the sister of Maya Panjikidze, who was dismissed from his post as head of the Georgian Foreign Ministry.
