Ukraine: Freedom of Western Choice
As transmits RIA News"According to preliminary data, only six batches broke the 5-percent barrier. And the Petro Poroshenko Bloc is still lagging behind the leadership of the Popular Front, Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk (the “war parties”).
Four other “winners” who will definitely fall into the Rada: “Self-help” headed by the mayor of Lviv Andrey Sadov, the Radical Party (Oleg Lyashko), Batkivshchyna (Y. Timoshenko), the Opposition bloc (his backbone - the former members of the "Party of Regions").
Having caught the backlog of the “war party”, President Poroshenko hurried to declare that he considers the Popular Front as the main partner of his bloc on the future coalition. RIA "News"Specifies that the" Poroshenko Bloc "and" Popular Front "have already begun negotiations. This was stated by the leader of "BPP" - presidential adviser and former Interior Minister Yuriy Lutsenko. In addition, he said that “BPP” offered to join the talks with the leaders of the Maidan parties: “Self-help”, “Freedom” and “Batkivshchyna”.
Self-nominated candidates are leading in the majority districts of 198 candidates. From the "PPP" - 64 candidate, from the "Popular Front" - 14, from "Freedom" - 6. According to the 2 candidate - from “Batkivshchyna”, “Opposition bloc” and “Strong Ukraine” party (the leader is former “regional” Sergey Tigipko).
Finally, Dmitry Yarosh, the leader of the “Right Sector”, passes into the new Rada: he defeats his competitors in the single-member district No. 39 in the Dnipropetrovsk region (he has already received 27,94% of votes according to the results of processing the 75,15% of protocols). A spokesman for the Right Sector, Borislav Bereza, leads the 213 single-mandate majoritarian district in Kiev.
Observers include the Freedom Party as losers. Since 2012, the RIA "Novosti" notes, the nationalists have compromised themselves with conflicts and fights in the Rada. In the new parliament on the party lists, they do not pass.
Ukrainian communists also lost the election - they, quite expectedly, did not overcome the 5% barrier.
Irina Fahrion was also unlucky - the voters “gave a ride” to the nationalist.
As the "UNIAN", people's deputy from “Freedom” Irina Fahrion called the voters of the 116 district (Lviv) “slaves”. She wrote on Facebook:
In the elections in the district №116 Irina Podolyak won from the "Self-help" party. According to “UNIAN”, it has bypassed Fahrion with a significant advantage - 41,20% versus 16,35%.
According to the final data of the CEC of Ukraine, voter turnout was 52,42%. However, some experts believe that it has not reached 50%.
“According to our calculations ... 50% fails, this is a very low turnout. Based on this, we can conclude that the intensive propaganda campaign that is happening in Ukraine today, those mechanisms of intimidating the population, still do not gain (election) more than 50% ... One of the lowest turnout was in the Odessa region ... Odessa today is frankly says she doesn't like it, ”said Alexey Martynov, Director of the International Institute of the Newest States, at a press conference in MIA "Russia Today".
However, there is still no exact data. They are expected no earlier than tomorrow, or even later.
How to transmit "Vesti", count votes on more than 30 thousands of Ukrainian polling stations finished yesterday for dinner, however, some district commissions have not yet transmitted the protocol data to the CEC. The CEC promises to publish the final results of the voting no earlier than October October 29.
As for the leading force in the new Parliament, the point of view of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is known.
“The leading force in the Verkhovna Rada will be the“ Petro Poroshenko Bloc ”. The Ukrainian president, as the leader of this party, cooperates with our president primarily on the negotiation of peace agreements. At the same time, Petro Poroshenko has repeatedly confirmed his commitment to the peace plan, including in the framework of negotiations in Milan and with Putin, and in a wider format, ”Lavrova quotes the channel LifeNews.
Comrade Lavrov also spoke about the future of Ukraine, in which the country will be led by the new composition of the Rada: “It is important for us to have a power in Ukraine that is not engaged in fighting with each other and not dragging the country either to the East or the West, but to the problems that really stand before the authorities. They should think about how to ensure the unity of the country, but at the same time, the citizens of Ukraine should find their place in its composition, regardless of what language they speak and what political views they profess. ”
Mikhail Pogrebinsky, director of the Kiev Center for Political Studies, gave his assessment of the election. According to him, the voters preferred “radical clowns” to “radicals with glasses”.
“The elections showed the following effect: we vote against radical clowns for the radical wearing glasses. That is, as it were, for serious people who occupy the same position, but do not look fools at the same time. For me, even Arseniy Yatsenyuk is rather a clown, because such nonsense, as he said in recent months, is a “man with glasses”, in his position and with fluent English, as if he shouldn’t speak. Nevertheless, it cannot be compared with Lyashko or Gritsenko, "quotes the political scientist LifeNews.
The future coalition in the Rada will take a pro-American position, the expert believes: “This will be a competition, but the common field of action of these politicians is determined by the fact that they both come to hear their opinion at the American embassy. And Yatsenyuk completely takes this position, and Poroshenko is still thinking, maybe you need to know what Vladimir Vladimirovich thinks about this. In principle, this is competition, but on key issues they will take the American position. ”
“What is the difference how many votes they gain? - said on the air "Voices of Russia" journalist Mikhail Leontiev. “The Popular Front” and “Petro Poroshenko’s Block” are two practically identical, from a political point of view, structures oriented simply to a different composition and to different feeders, that is, to different owners. Since, as before, and now, the entire Ukrainian parliamentary system, in fact, has been privatized. Those who were not finally privatized on the eve of the elections, they will be privatized in the process. That is, they will come out "on the panel" and find their owners. " And a few more words from Leontyev: “Ukraine in all elections showed a geopolitical and mental split. Part of Ukraine is focused on the West, part on Russia. And now Ukraine is showing the same split, just the southeast has not come to the polls, and the west has come almost completely. And it was the election of one part of Ukraine. ”
And in the end - funny and furious news. Channel "RT" collected a summary of incidents in the Ukrainian elections.
October 26 one polling station in Odessa opened with an hour late: members of the precinct election commission, all as one, forgot about the transition to winter time. And in the city of Skadovsk, Kherson region, the chairwoman of the precinct election commission lost the keys to the safe with the documents. Consequences: the safe was smashed with an ax, the plot also opened late.
In the forty-sixth district (the city of Artyomovsk), members of the precinct election commissions stamped “retired” against the name of the candidate who actually participated in the elections. That is, they ruined all the ballots.
Meanwhile, in the Kiev district No. XXUMX, unknown persons hacked the access codes to the OIC base, as a result, the commission’s employees lost access to the electronic database.
Not without its machines. At one of the Kiev polling stations, a man took out a machine gun and threatened those present. And the presence of the police did not bother him. Here is a real detective story:
And in Krivoy Rog machines started talking. Unidentified people fired at two cars parked at polling station number XXUMX. Two people were taken to hospital with gunshot wounds.
The builder of the “new Ukrainian empire”, Mr. Darth Vader, was not given a bulletin: the masked candidate refused to take it off.
The channel also notes that Semenchenko and Teteruk (commanders of the Donbass and Peacemaker battalions) during the telethon "The Night of Elections to the Verkhovna Rada with Savik Shuster" almost got into a fight with Oleg Lyashko because major differences in matters of sexual orientation. Surprisingly, the presenter managed to prevent a fight.
By summarizing and analyzing the opinions of experts and reviewers, one can come to a simple conclusion: the radicals will sit in the new Rada. New Rada will fight and make trouble in the same way as the previous row fought and scandalous. Neither the “coalition” that Poroshenko has made today, nor the general thesis that “Ukraine is Europe” will help this. The parliamentary culture of Ukraine is a phenomenon that has long been established, and we do not see a solid reason for its withering away.
Well, and most importantly: the new composition of the Council will be pro-American, or rather, pro-Western. Thanks to these elections, we can say with a high degree of certainty: approximately half of the non-independent population today speaks in favor of the western route. And, of course, for Western values.
