The opening ceremony was attended by Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev and Emergency Situations Minister Vladimir Puchkov. The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in his speech noted that over the past time, the Interpolitex exhibition has not lost its relevance, interest in it is growing from year to year. The world is not becoming safer, and crime is developing new technological advances. Therefore, as suggested by the Minister of Internal Affairs, law enforcement agencies should be one step ahead in the development of new products, as well as anticipate the challenges of the future.
The Head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations V. Puchkov noted in his speech that due to the dynamic development of the economy, new approaches are needed to ensure industrial safety. The minister recalled that the Russian president approved a program of re-equipment of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, during which units will receive new equipment and equipment. In addition, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Emergency Situations are implementing several joint projects designed to improve the integrated safety of the population.
On the first day of the exhibition, the Ministry of the Interior and Rosoboronexport signed a cooperation agreement. The document was signed by Deputy Interior Minister Sergei Gerasimov and the first deputy head of Rosoboronexport, Ivan Goncharenko. The agreement provides for cooperation between the two departments in the military-technical sphere. The document entered into force at the time of its signing and will be valid for one year. If neither party wishes to break it, the agreement will automatically be renewed.
Organizations that participated in the Interpolitex-2014 exhibition demonstrated both existing and new developments. Russian and foreign companies presented equipment, various special equipment, equipment, weapons, etc.
Tula Instrument Engineering Design Bureau. Academician Shipunova again showed her small-sized grenade launcher complex "Bur". It is reported that the Tula gunsmiths have established a serial release of this weapons, which was recently adopted by the Russian army. The “Bur” grenade launcher was shown for the first time last year and so far has passed the entire cycle of necessary tests, after which it was put into service.
Now the Instrument Engineering Design Bureau is preparing for the start of mass production of the two-medium automatic automatic pressure generator. This weapon is capable of shooting both in air and in water without any special preparations. Simultaneously with the preparation for the start of production, the tests and fine-tuning of the machine are completed. Complete all such work is expected by next year, after which the machine will go into series. Some foreign customers show a certain interest in the ADS machine, but the development of a modification for foreign cartridges is not planned.
In the light of recent events, the topic of foreign sanctions and their impact on the Russian defense industry is relevant. Yury Amelin, head of the KBP delegation, told TASS news agencies that the sanctions had no effect on the work of the Tula gunsmiths. KBP orders some parts from related enterprises, however 90% of components in the rifle-grenade launcher segment are manufactured in Tula.
The latest successes and plans for the near future were told by the leaders of the United Instrument-Making Corporation (DIC). The contract continues to be carried out, in accordance with which the armed forces should receive more than 1,2 thousand Lesothok electronic warfare complexes. Deliveries of these systems are carried out since last year, when 400 complexes were manufactured and transferred to the customer. This year it is planned to transfer 300 units to the military, and next year the remaining 450 units. The Lesochek system is designed to protect the troops from the detonation of enemy radio-controlled ammunition.
OPK is developing equipment not only for the armed forces, but also for other structures. At the exhibition "Interpolitech-2014" was shown security complex "Indigo", designed for organizations that monitor various objects. The equipment of the complex in a few minutes takes place on a guarded object and allows you to monitor any object with minimal participation of people. When using the battery, the system can operate up to 48 hours. If necessary, solar batteries can be used to power the systems. The Indigo complex is designed to organize the protection of mobile objects in unprepared areas.
Another interesting development, presented by the military-industrial complex, is the outpost radar control station. This radar allows you to monitor the environment within a radius of 20 kilometers. Automation of the Forpost system is capable of detecting and tracking up to 50 targets simultaneously. Radar "Forpost" passed all the tests and is ready for adoption.
Representatives of the Vega Research Institute (Voronezh) spoke about the ongoing testing of a promising communications complex with high noise immunity. It is reported that this communication system is equipped with multipath active phased antenna arrays, which provide high-quality communication in a wide frequency range. It is almost impossible to drown out the communication channels of such a complex. If the customer represented by the Ministry of Defense shows interest in the new development, then its state tests will begin next year.

Domestic enterprises of the defense complex are creating not only new machinery and equipment, but also new materials. Thus, the Research Institute of Steel introduced a new alloy, proposed for use as a basis for the protection of armored vehicles. Armored steel 44S-sv-Sh is intended for the manufacture of casings and other protection elements of various equipment of armored vehicles located outside its hull. New steel is able to protect equipment from bullets of small arms and shells of small-caliber automatic guns. Steel 44S-sv-Sh received the approval of promising developers tank "Armata" and accepted for trial operation.
