Motorized rifle units of the BBO will receive the latest intelligence assets.

By the end of this year, the motorized rifle units of the Eastern Military District (VVO) will receive around 10 the latest short-range reconnaissance radar, reports Press Service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

Motorized rifle units of the BBO will receive the latest intelligence assets.

1L277 Sobolyatnik radar and SBR-5M radar have almost all the capabilities of modern radars, despite the small weight and overall characteristics.

The use of the station SBR-5М provides a good stealth from the electronic countermeasures of the enemy forces due to the low radiated power.

This radar can be mated with different types of automatic rifle weapons, including machine guns "Kord", "Pecheneg", automatic machine-gun grenade launchers AGS-30 and AGS-17, which turns it into an indispensable tool for combat in conditions of insufficient optical visibility.

With the help of the Sobolyatnik radar, you can correct mortar and artillery fire on gaps, as well as monitor low-flying drones.

“Equipping the district’s motorized rifle formations with new radars will expand the list of tasks and significantly improve the combat capabilities of the units,” the Defense Ministry’s press service notes.

Again, new arrivals of new equipment to the troops, which had not previously been in the army, let us hope for the massiveness of these arrivals.

The description is very similar to the detector from "Aliens". Useful thing. The main thing is that it would not break. Well, he will learn how to use it in real battles.

Maybe I didn’t finish something, but how do the radars and the machine gun mate? Discreetly discovered a moving, irradiated target (without seeing it!) And at random in azimuth shot from a machine gun, so what? Something like that, everything is suspiciously muddy!

Either at random or in azimuth hi . If the direction is known, then the line will find its target. The range to the target will probably be known, which will allow you to put the mine as efficiently as possible. Is it not enough?

But how about you forget about it, after all, China. By the way, yesterday or the day before, the Ukrsmi reported that the Russian-Chinese war had begun. Like, the Chinese carried out shelling of the territory of the Russian Federation, Putin raised troops on alert and so on and so forth. UKRSMI - what to take from them request

    development of “Fara-PV” - “Fara-VR”. First introduced at MAX-2011.
The “Farah-1 ″ complex additionally includes: a compass, a laying box,

I had nothing to do with radar guidance of small arms, how artillery is being used - I saw it, but how it is realized on a machine gun ... tell me who knows!
But the very fact of the receipt of portable radars in the troops is pleasing, it is only a pity that so far they are not enough, dashing trouble is the beginning.

Instead of headlights it is more practical to use thermal imagers or nightlights. At the cost of the radar, a more expensive thermal imager will be.

the main feature of the "forward edge" radar is to REGISTER the trajectory of bullets and projectiles.
        - To say WHERE the enemy is shelling.

Good stuff. Although this issue has already been discussed more than once, I believe that such a radar on a tank would look good. And then, thermal imagers, and even from French components ... Plus, at VO it was reported that active work was being carried out abroad to reduce the thermal radiation of tanks. And the results are already there. But Copperfield will not be able to hide 50 tons of iron from the radar. Yes, and it’s easier to match with a tank sight.
