Five newest multifunctional radio combat systems Borisoglebsk-2 and mobile automated systems Leer-2 were received by units of the combined-arms army of the Southern Military District. As a base for EW systems "Leer-2" used armored "Tiger".

Press Service of the Southern Military District reports that, thanks to new systems, EW efficiency has increased by 50% in the VHF range.

The Borisoglebsk-2 complexes consist of 9 machines. They are designed to suppress the operation of radionavigation systems and satellite communication systems. The complexes are used to detect and suppress enemy radio networks and radio links of tactical command and control links. In 2013, 8 complexes of this type were put on combat duty in the RF Armed Forces.

"Leer-2" allows you to organize the formulation of interference and electronic simulation. With the help of the complex, it is possible to carry out a full-scale reconnaissance of the electromagnetic situation with the subsequent suppression of the sources of the radio signal of the enemy.
