And again about yesterday’s reception in the Moscow residence of the American ambassador. The Russian political analyst Sergey Markov came to this meeting, but he came for a reason. The director of the Institute of Political Studies, in order to “please” John Tefft, attached a St. George ribbon to his jacket. And if Ambassador Tefft pretended not to notice anything, then representatives of the Russian riotous opposition almost brought the matter to a real scuffle.
Mrs. Albats showed her riot more than others, distinguished by a steady love for all anti-Russian and dislike for Russia. On your page in
Facebook Sergey Markov, the ardent oppositionist Albats describes the behavior as follows (the style is preserved):
Evgenia Albats, apparently, is an enchanting woman, because her tantrum has few more questions than the new US ambassador. I’m explaining that she’s been pushing me for a long time, but I tried to get away from the conflict, making a joke, because I don’t like personal conflicts even with opponents. It seems to me that it is necessary to respect the opposite points of view. And at the embassy this time, I put up with 5 minutes. But she was so sausage either from the St. George ribbon, or from the appearance of a Putin supporter in the American embassy, that I could not stand it and said that, cursing, she insults not me, but herself.
At the same time, Markov adds that Albats asked (quote) "not to make Babish hysterics."
Sergey Markov:
Albats' reaction to the St. George ribbon was reminiscent of the violent reaction of the possessed to the cross in the process of exorcising.
In general, the reception was incendiary.
