Tactical live-fire exercises tank formations of the Air Defense Forces started in Buryatia (test site "Burundy"). During the maneuvers, the newest Borisoglebsk-2014 electronic warfare systems received in the district in 2 will be used. Reported by ITAR-TASS with reference to the chief of the press service of the Eastern District, Alexander Gordeev.

It is planned to conduct firing from the standard weapons T-72B and BMP-2. According to Gordeev, “Shilka” self-propelled self-propelled guns, Sturm-S anti-tank systems and 120-mm mortars will also be involved. In total, more than 500 military personnel and about 70 units of combat and special equipment are involved in the exercises. ”

“The goal is to work out a number of decisions in a rapidly changing combat environment. The personnel of the tank compound should work out the skills of quickly performing practical tasks. ”- said the representative of the military district.

The training center "Burduny" is located in the southern part of Buryatia (Kyakhta district) near the Mongolian border. The range is used for large-scale exercises, including international ones.

Help Agency: “Borisoglebsk-2” is an electronic warfare complex that includes the P-330КМВ control center with the Р-378БМВ, Р-330БМВ, Р-934 BMW and P-325UMV interference stations. Borisoglebsk-2, compared to its predecessor, the Mandat complex, which was modernized in 2001, has better technical characteristics: an extended frequency range of radio intelligence and radio-electronic suppression, an increased scanning speed of the frequency range, a shorter response time at unknown frequencies, a higher the accuracy of the positioning of the source of radio emission, increased bandwidth of the means of suppression ".

Of course, we were lame in communications in the last century. It was not for nothing that the saying went: If a regiment passed the test during an exercise, then the commander is a young man, and if they failed the check, then the communications chief. Of course, all these KShMki with 130 and 123 stations are already obsolete. Not to mention communications in the p-105 and p-109 units with a limited set of frequencies. Communication must be raised and seriously, take the same imported "Alinka" or "Motorola". When I took such a toy in my hands, I was just stunned, it was in the late 90s and compared it with our p-109. Earth and sky, there are no other comparisons.

The Israeli corvette Eilat of the Saar 5 type after modernization with the installation on the bow superstructure of the multifunctional radar IAI Elta EL / M-2248 MF-STAR The first "open" photo of the Israeli corvette Eilat (the lead of three ships of the Saar 5 type), which received the installed on the bow superstructure multifunctional radar IAI Elta EL / M-2248 MF-STAR with four fixed active phased antenna arrays. This is probably the smallest warship in the world (standard displacement of about 1100 tons), which received an AEGIS-like radar system.

Two other Israeli corvettes are undergoing a similar modernization. The next step should be the equipping of Saar 5-type corvettes, developed by IAI and Rafael, with the participation of India, Barak 8 medium and long-range naval air defense systems.

Full-size models of variants of the Warmate miniature loitering ammunition developed by the Polish company WB Electronics at the MSPO-2014 exhibition. On the left - "daytime" option, on the right - "round-the-clock" "reconnaissance and strike" At the MSPO-1 defense exhibition held from September 4 to 2014, 2014 in the Polish city of Kielce, the Polish enterprise WB Electronics presented materials about the miniature loitering ammunition Warmate, which is essentially a single-use shock mini-UAV.

Warmate is a miniature UAV with a total weight of about 1,3 kg and a length of 0,5 m, plastic construction, with a folding wing equipped with an electric motor with a pushing propeller. The device is fired from a portable transport and launch container and is capable of loitering in the air for about 40 minutes. Also, the device is capable of dropping from the suspension of larger UAVs. The operator observes the terrain through the electronic-optical system installed on the device, and when a target is detected, the device aims at it. Two modifications of Warmate are offered - one purely shock "daytime", carrying a charge in a case of 700 g of explosives and equipped with a simple and cheap digital video camera in the bow, and the second "round-the-clock" "reconnaissance and shock", having a charge of only 200 g of explosives, but it has a 6S9-20 dual-channel camera developed by WB Electronics with a night thermal imaging channel and a laser rangefinder.

Testing the Warmate model has been underway since 2013, and testing a full-fledged prototype of the ammunition is scheduled for the second quarter of 2015.
