Now armored vehicles are building solder all and sundry.

From Georgians, under the leadership of Saaaaakashvili, to law enforcement officers from the National Guard (KAMAZ, covered with boiler iron and fittings)

And the weapons, I look, are in no hurry to translate the standards of their friends from NATO, the same NSVT sticks out, but with Polish variations, apparently. Where is the "great and terrible" Browning?

And why, if the USSR built all the production power for them. They in these factories can do the same as in the entire post-Soviet space, they can rivet, we’ll capture them, we won’t even have to re-equip the factories, if only there were materials [I did not immediately understand your sarcasm]
And in vain you underestimate Browning. It is unlikely that a machine gun model which has been honored for a whole century will be located and used in a heap of armies, produced, and periodically upgraded. By the way, it was 1919 that was used by one sniper in Vietnam from the American side for firing for a kilometer or more, note successfully.

Yes, that's just "Tigers" - this is a serial armored car, adopted by the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the given pepelats is an exhibition sample assembled "on its knees" for "some Cypriot company" on the basis of the same exhibition model from another country ...

      33477-pozor-s-dozorom.html - last year's article on topwar: D

Repainted in yellow, rectangular curtains changed to cellular. And now the promising Kharkov development goes for a penny to the North Atlantic terrorist organization.
The flat bottom still raises doubts about mine protection.

Laughed! Oh, these harsh Permyaks! It is a pity the head of the Department of Internal Affairs. He suffered, poor thing ... I think, however, that in a couple of months his subordinates will be able to fix a thread.

      What kind of freaks laughing
And if dirt gets under this grate or leaves or snow sprinkles, how will they look at the road through such a glass? Or did they decide in another way on bulletproof glass to save? So the lattice if that does not help wassat
And if such a glass costs, then what for all these lattices? they’ll flash before the driver’s eyes, so he’s going to drive on a long march, they don’t have many owners of this device (mind), and they’ll send the latter to the asylum wassat

What should the grid on windows protect from? But under certain lighting conditions, it will greatly impair visibility.

There, a certain distance to the grid should be from glass or armor! In the photo, it is too close, and in the headlights, this net is for beauty.

Who's arguing? The customer probably liked it. Russia, on the other hand, bought from the Italians a "beauty - RAT" - a three-point belt, from which, God forbid, it is impossible to get out of injured, after 2 hours armored panels fall off off-road. Thank God they refused.

For me, it's just another armored trough, they are all monotonous and utilitarian in essence ... Scorpio, Tiger, Lynx, Hammer and so on ... 20 years ago, even 10, it was "uuu", but now you just look at what is here , which was not there ... By the way, I saw on one site how a man from Ford made a Hummer, though I still did not understand what was left in the end of Ford at all ... Yesterday, by the way, a burnt Ukrainian Hummer flashed in the chronicle, a whole body however, there is no interior, instead of headlights, empty eye sockets ...

The penetration and protection of the bottom from explosions is interesting to the armor. And so an ordinary vehicle for transporting infantry.

Like it or not, and such machines are just as needed. Let’s say a change at a checkpoint is tossed or a reconnaissance group to the front line. It’s not the UAZ that is shaking, although they also rivet models with hidden armor. At least stand the line from Kalash ..

The car is really assembled efficiently.
There are practically no materials that can burn inside.
There is an automatic transmission and, therefore, in a combat situation, you can put anyone behind the wheel who knows how to drive a car. Installed DU-BM with a normal machine gun.
The landing seats are fixed as it should, on top.
Periscope observation devices for the landing ... It would be nice to compare what they are more effective or bulletproof glass.
Bulletproof glass gives a greater view, but cannot be replaced on site if damaged. The scopescope gives a slightly lesser view, but can, if damaged, be replaced by another, directly during the battle or immediately after it.
Of course, there are drawbacks to this device. The wings above the wheels will become clogged with dirt when driving off-road, and when overcoming serious obstacles the wheels clogged with mud will touch them.
It seems to be a trifle, but this "trifle" can deliver so much hemorrhoids on the way that all the advantages can be crossed out. Drivers working in the far north, jeepers and those who have ever driven through serious mud will understand what I wrote about.

That's true. But judging by the color of the car, they are not going to ride in the mud.

It is unclear why to advertise the Polish car industry, "which at least stick with sugar .... is still disgusting" (as Sobakevich used to say, if I'm not mistaken, in Gogol's novel)

yeah .. BTR-152K steers. Although he has progenitors.
but still the extended hood and wheels greatly increase survivability. Rather, the survival of the crew.
