Where are American scouts trained

14

In the past decade and a half, the US intelligence services have shown themselves not to their best. And this is happening despite the fact that it was at this time that the teaching in the former was expanded and new educational institutions were created to train staff in all areas of the US intelligence community. The question is: where and how are those who forge the "glory" of American intelligence prepared?

The CIA in 1950 created its first educational institution, the Training and Learning Department (OTE). In 1990-ies, due to the end of the Cold War, the budget of the CIA was reduced and, as a result, it was forced to reduce the scale of its educational programs. However, the new CIA director J. Tenet (1997-2004) decided that his department needed to expand training programs in order to preserve the reproduction of personnel. He achieved the creation of a new educational institution shortly after the 11 September 2001 terrorist attacks, and as a result, the University of the CIA (CIAU) was created in 2002. Today, the UCRU campus is located in the Dulles Discovery office complex in Chantilly (Virginia).

Currently, UCRU is the main educational institution of the US intelligence community, so I began my story with him. Here are studied various special disciplines, from information technology and methods of producing chemical weapons to rare languages (a total of 16 languages are taught). Not only new CIA personnel are trained in its walls, but also experienced re-training specialists, as well as representatives of other US intelligence agencies, undergo retraining. Up to 15, US URU students are staffed by other US intelligence agencies — the Military Intelligence Agency (DIA), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and others.

The faculty of the UCRU consists of both professional teachers and expert analysts of various intelligence services. Many elements of training are taken from the functional experience of the CIA. Every year, USRA implements training courses from 200 to 300. Each course for basic training of new employees, as a rule, is designed for a period of not more than two weeks, with the exception of language courses that take from 21 to 44 weeks. Course content is constantly updated. Training is conducted in the classroom, online, video-conferencing, or through podcasts. Academic degrees are not assigned here.

The USRA coordinates its activities with the National University of Intelligence, the Sherman Kent Intelligence School and other educational institutions.

The National University of Intelligence (NIU) is an educational and research institution that trains senior cadres for the US intelligence community and national security agencies. In 1962-1981 NUR was known as the School of Military Intelligence (DIS), in 1981-1993. - College of Military Intelligence (DIC) and in 1993-2006. - Joint College of Military Intelligence (JMIC), in 2006-2011. - National College of Military Intelligence (NDIC). The university is located at the headquarters of military intelligence in Washington.
The U.S. Department of Defense in 1962 established a ballistic control system to combine existing military and military navy academic strategic intelligence training programs. In 1981, Balloon Transfer was accredited by the US State Higher Education Commission. Here, with the permission of the US Congress, a bachelor of science in intelligence and a master of science in strategic intelligence is awarded. In total, to date, more than 80 thousand military and civilian students have completed a training course or participated in various academic programs of NUR.

The Sherman Kent School for Intelligence Analysis (Sherman Kent School for Intelligence Analysis) is an analyst training school for the CIA. It is named after Yale University professor and CIA officer Sherman Kent, who for the first time in stories applied many intelligence analysis techniques. The school was opened in 2000, located in Reston (Virginia). Its training program includes regional studies, the study of foreign languages, the analysis of satellite images, the analysis of media reports, and others.

The National School of Cryptology (NCS), which is the educational institution of the National Security Agency, stands apart. NSHC was opened in 1965. Currently, the School is located on several campuses, including Linticame (Maryland). NShK trains specialists for the intelligence community and other intelligence services. Education in it is conducted both according to traditional methods in classes, and with the help of computer methods.

It is known that academic training is one thing, but practical work "in the field" is quite another. According to the experience of my diplomatic work in Sana'a, I can state that a weak point in the training of American intelligence officers is the knowledge of foreign languages, especially Eastern. In connection with this, tseerushniki are forced to involve educated native-speakers from among the local residents to secret work, which, in turn, increases the likelihood of leakage of secret information. This is one of the factors that can explain the numerous failures of US intelligence in the countries of the East.

Another characteristic of Americans is their obvious naivety. So, they offered a certain amount to one of my colleagues: they were ready to pay, because they badly needed an informant at the Russian embassy. And the fact that my colleague laughs at their proposal, the recruiters clearly did not expect. He told them in response to an episode with an American journalist from the film “Valery Chkalov”, after which the TsIRushniki apparently decided that “170 million” for the services of an informant is a bit too much ...

The KGB officer comes fishing, sits down, throws, says: -yes ...
The second comes, sits down, says: -yes ...
The third comes, sits down, throws, says: -Yes, yes ...
On the second day, history repeats itself, the first came, -Yes ..., the second came, -Yes, turns around and says: “And where is this balabol?”

The text of your comment is too short and in the opinion of the site administration does not carry useful information, although there is definitely useful information in the comic;)

Well, I would not say that everything is really so bad, as for me it is quite satisfactory, at least. Of course, this is no longer the level of the Cold War, and the past "incident" with the "Korean Boeing" was performed unlike the quality of the current hack But do not forget that the opponents have degraded. The Chinese are not showing themselves so much, Europe is stuck in deep tolerance. It's generally a shame to talk about Russia, Dzerzhinsky is probably spinning in his grave so that such a powerful special service degrades to such a low level, and besides pontov not able to do anything ...

hmm ... our special services have a lot of questions, including - where were they all 20 before the Maidan? when Bender was made a national hero, when the right sector, the Freedom Party, was developing and getting stronger, when the ideology of "great ukrov" was being introduced, when monuments to our grandfathers were destroyed ... or our government suited all this, and when they began to step on the tail of our oligarchs who have business in Donbas and when there was a threat to form NATO bases in Crimea - suddenly it became expedient to publish materials about Bender and generally intensify anti-fascist activities (or again create an appearance), finally return Crimea? Che used to handle both with them and with them, without putting forward slogans, without showing concern? - either the special services ate their bread in vain, or the rulers of our rulers have a stigma in the cannon (politically correct).

I think that if we are talking about Russian special services, then asking about where they were when the coup took place in Ukraine is not entirely correct. in this case, there is a political struggle in Ukraine. I would say that Ukraine is a kind of springboard for the formation and implementation of this struggle on the part of America and Russia. I am sure that our special services have been very closely following what is happening in Ukraine from the very beginning. but as for the cult of the Bandera personality, it was already a political strategy and to ask why all this universal Ukrainization was not stopped right away was necessary from our political leaders. there are a lot of answers to these questions, but only the one who directs all this knows what lies at the basis of the whole expectant position of Moscow.

I’m talking about the same thing - either our special services are helpless or the fish rots from the head ... As for the correctness of the matter, the CIA’s work in Ukraine is a face, but ours ... Okay, Crimea had enough brains to protect ...

        1. Issues are resolved as they become available.
        2. Some, my acquaintances are not slaves, still accuse Russia of creeping economic expansion. That is, they argue that banks and enterprises, with the participation of our capital, pump out finances from Ukraine and impede the arrival of Western competitors (who would "develop the Ukrainian economy" to unimaginable heights).
What they could and wanted, they did it.

Do not underestimate the enemies. Yes, there are occasional mistakes and mistakes, but whoever doesn’t have them, probably only those who don’t do anything. And how many operations ended successfully nobody knows, one can only speculate. As for financing, no one forbade funding through other bodies and projects that at first glance have no relation either to intelligence or to the United States, respectively. For example, one of their main achievements is to change the way ordinary Ukrainians view Russia, most of them with itayut us enemies.

Manipulation of the mass consciousness is the fad of the CIA.

Not so weak they are. They have an integrated approach. Starting from a school in the CIS countries - the AYUSA program (students study and live in the states for a year. Then they don’t lose contact with them), then grants for universities to study under short programs for students (like AYUSA), then financing all kinds of organizations (fifth column ), then recruitment as a dip. composition and military at various levels. Still listening, intercepting email, SMS, chat, hacking accounts in all kinds of social services. networks, etc., etc. This war will never end. Well, perhaps the complete defeat of one of the parties.

Standing apart is the National School of Cryptology (NCS), which is the institution of the National Security Agency. NSK was opened in 1965

Neither in terms of the number of employees, nor in the size of the budget, the CIA ranks first, second to the NSA. The field of activity of the NSA is limited to radio intelligence, the organization does not engage in undercover activities (espionage). The number of employees and the annual budget of the agency are state secrets. There are various estimates of these figures: the number of employees at Headquarters is estimated at 20-38 thousand people; in addition, about 100 thousand work at military bases around the world. According to some reports, the NSA budget is $ 3,5-13 billion, which makes it the most funded intelligence agency in the world. hi

Apparently the psakinya also took courses there. Powerful structures in terms of the destruction of civilians. What are they proud of? Some kind of clowns inventing methods for sorting dirty laundry and the idea of various abominations and manipulation technologies.
