"In Donetsk, all the mines are"

"In Donetsk, all the mines are"“It’s impossible to work under current conditions. The coal industry of Donbass is simply being killed, there is no power supply, mines are being heated, ”said Mikhail Krylov, chairman of the Donetsk Independent Trade Union of Miners, to the VIEW newspaper. He told how the bulk of the miners relate to what is happening in the South-East of Ukraine and what could happen next with the Donetsk mines.

On the eve, the Komsomolets Donbassa mine was shelled, after which a fire broke out on its territory.

According to the latest data, 30 miners are still underground in a de-energized mine.
The press center of the Donetsk People's Republic told RIA "News»That the security specialists of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy Complex of the DPR urgently left for the Kirovskoye - Shakhtersk area to ensure the work of the power engineers in restoring the power supply to the mine.

On Sunday, as a result of fighting in the mines to them. Lenin and them. Kalinin enterprise "Artemugol" in Donetsk Gorlovka turned off the electricity, and under the ground were nine miners.

Before that, power engineers had to restore power supply in several mines, one and a half hundred miners were rescued.

The Donbass Fuel-Energy Company reported that in the mining district of the Donetsk region, due to hostilities, coal mining has not been conducted since August 1.

Donbass has always been the main industrial center of Ukraine. And although the country was on the verge of an energy crisis because of interruptions in coal supplies, the Kiev authorities continued to bomb the region, destroying its economy.

The fact that what is happening in the Donbass, the newspaper VIEW Chairman of the Donetsk Independent Trade Union of Miners Mikhail Krylov told the newspaper VIEW.

VIEW: Mikhail Alekseevich, in what conditions do the miners of the region have to work now?

Mikhail Krylov: Basically all the mines are. Yesterday we shot at one of our largest mines, Komsomolets Donbassa (located in the city of Kirovsk, Donetsk region). Fortunately, most people managed to get out of there in time. At that moment there were only those who were engaged in its repair. And so, of course, it is impossible to work under the current conditions. The coal industry of Donbass is simply being killed, there is no power supply, mines are being heated.

VIEW: Is it only in Donetsk? And in other cities in the region the same situation?

M.K .: In Donetsk, all the mines are. But in other cities I can’t even say for sure: we have a very bad connection now, often there is no connection with neighboring cities.

VIEW: In the Lugansk region, the situation is probably not better?

M.K .: I think the situation there is even worse. Although I have not been there for a month and a half, but it’s not easier for them - that’s for sure.

LOOK: What moods now prevail among the miners? Are there any plans to draw attention to your problems?

M.K .: It is useless to contact someone, talk about your problems. We have already grown out of children's pants ... Therefore, two mining divisions have already been formed here (fighting under the flag of the DPR - approx. LOOK). And in each of them 15 – 20 people are recorded per day, and sometimes more.

VIEW: Is there any hope that in the foreseeable future mines will work again?

M.K .: At first, many of ours just went on vacation. And then they saw that everything was bombed out, that the mines were not working, there was practically no water in the city, there was no electricity, soon there would be nothing. One of the mines in the suburbs of Donetsk is now reminiscent of the Pavlov House - remember the one that was defended during the Battle of Stalingrad?

VIEW: And what about the families of the miners? They managed to evacuate?

M.K .: Unfortunately, there is no place to take them out. Those who had such an opportunity, even earlier brought their families to Russia or somewhere else. But now, frankly, there is no such possibility. We are in the ring. And we know that these freaks, “Natsik”, scoff and shoot, including civilians. By the way, I myself, frankly, are not in favor of the miners leaving. They must protect their home.

VIEW: It is said that after the outbreak of hostilities in the Donbass there was a disengagement of miners. So, there are several trade unions of miners, the leader of one of which, Nikolai Volynko, for example, actively appears in the media and supports the Kiev authorities.

M.K .: I would not call it delimitation. Those who have a head on their shoulders, have long understood who can be trusted, and who can not. Yes, there are some individuals ... The same Volynko. But almost everyone left him. People just laugh at him.

VIEW: How quickly can be restored mines and jobs for them, if in the near future the situation will normalize?

M.K .: It is hard to hope for something. But I can say that, for example, the restoration of the Oktyabrsky mine will take at least one and a half months and investments of about 150 million hryvnias (417 million rubles). But how much money is needed to re-start mining at our mines, now, probably, no one can even calculate.

VIEW: It turns out that all the miners of Donbass are now sitting without work? How do you manage to survive?

M.K .: Yes, this is a real humanitarian catastrophe. Out of the situation, each in its own way. Someone has some old savings, many live in retirement. My children, for example, who were also unemployed, now live on my retirement. Or humanitarian aid comes with free lunches. But of course, this is not life.

Akhmetovsky. But don’t worry, the junta budget is very, very unlikely to see his money.
According to the article. I wonder what the junta thinks about when coal mines are bombed? With the cessation of Russian gas supplies to Ukraine, Donbass coal became the only energy carrier in Ukraine. The junta, apparently, decided to threaten him. Then a logical question arises. What does the same Parashenko think of heating his residence in winter? There is a feeling that the junta is not hoping to survive until winter. Those. she's just a kamikaze. Who then needs it and why - think for yourself.

Part of the Russian humanitarian convoy entered the territory of Ukraine | Russian spring
The first four trucks with the help of residents of Donbass pass control at a border checkpoint in the Rostov region.
Trucks of the Russian convoy with humanitarian aid to Donetsk, Lugansk and other cities of eastern Ukraine pass control at the border. The start of the convoy from a parking lot in the Russian city of Donetsk, Rostov Region, came as a surprise to journalists. Four trucks drove into the checkpoint, another 12 cars are being prepared for shipment.
Just four KamAZs left the parking lot of the local bus fleet and started off to the checkpoint. The barrier has opened, and in the next few minutes, the first four trucks will cross the Russian-Ukrainian border, a LifeNews correspondent said live.
On August 19, the Russian Foreign Ministry announced that an agreement was reached between the head of the Russian department, Sergey Lavrov, and the president of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Peter Maurer, to start delivering aid for residents of Donbass. On August 15, diplomats officially announced that the preparation of a humanitarian action to assist residents of the Donbass entered its final stage.
In total, Russia sent two thousand tons of humanitarian aid for the population of Novorossia: 400 tons of cereals, 100 tons of sugar, 62 tons of baby food, 54 tons of medicines, 12 thousand sleeping bags, 69 power plants of various capacities, as well as other food, drinking water and first items necessary.

        Ahmed enterprises hit.
. Ukraine dealt another blow to its own economy. Four metallurgical enterprises supplying products to many countries of the world have stopped work. There is no way to restore them now. The flow of foreign exchange earnings into the treasury is stopped. How does this threaten the country and who is interested in this?
The official announcement of the largest Ukrainian metallurgical holding Metinvest is like an exploded bomb. In the Kiev media, however, it went almost unnoticed. Due to power lines damaged after powerful shelling, four of the largest plants in Donbass - Yenakievsky metallurgical, Koksokhimprom, Khartsyzsky pipe and Avdeevsky coke-chemical - completely stopped production.

UKROARMY PREPARES SOIL AND PREPARATIONS FOR TRIBUNAL CASE
"In an interview with the Ukrainian newspaper Ukrainskaya Pravda, Colonel-General of the Ukrainian Army Reserve Volodymyr Ruban made a sensational statement: not two, but three sides are fighting in Donbass. The so-called third party is saboteurs who conduct clandestine operations against the Ukrainian army and militias.
Retired Colonel-General declares that it is the saboteurs who scatter shells in the housing estates, substituting each side. Ruban claims that both Kiev and Donetsk are looking for provocateurs.

He also made a statement that foreign mercenaries were taking part in the war. It should be noted that today the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko announced that an American mercenary nicknamed Franco was killed in the ranks of the Donbass battalion.
Dmitry Ruban is the organizer of the Center for Communication of Captured Relatives. He is also in talks to free the hostages. In the three months of his work, he managed to free more than 300 people from captivity.
Let us remind you that the military operation in Donbass began on April 7, when Alexander Turchinov signed a decree on conducting an anti-terrorist operation in the east of the country. "

it is not clear how during the hostilities the miners still manage to work! and whose mines are they working on?

I say right away that I didn’t read either the article or the comments, but here’s what I dug in the internet yesterday: For a better understanding of the events (and there are not only military clashes, which are mostly monitored in the blogosphere), we turn to an interview with Metinvest Holding CEO Y. Ryzhenkova from 10 of August and comment on it in parts:
[...] Metinvest did not revise annual plans for production and export of products, since today it does not see significant deviations from the initial indicators. Although, it must be admitted that the last week or two, the metallurgical division has been operating at 60-70% of its capacity. This is due to both the current situation in the ATO zone and the change in supply chains.
In principle, all our enterprises are operating today. Even the Yenakiyevo Iron and Steel Works and the Khartsyzsk Pipe Plant, which are located in the territory controlled by the so-called DPR. Stable situation at iron ore plants in Krivoy Rog and at the plant in Zaporozhye. The situation in Mariupol can also be called a working one, where two of our largest steel mills (Ilyich Iron and Steel Works and Azovstal) reduced production a week ago due to interruptions in the supply of raw materials. But today the situation there is stabilized, and just the other day we are launching the third blast furnace at Azovstal. As logistics flows recover, we will return to normal production levels. [...] Avdeevka Coke and Chemical Plant remains a hot spot on the map of Donetsk region. Now it is located only at one of the four electricity inputs, we are balancing on the brink. In the history of Ukrainian metallurgy, this was the first case of a hot stop of a large coke-chemical enterprise and its start again after applying voltage more than a day later. Today, all the workshops of the Avdeevsky Coke Chemistry are working, although at reduced parameters, about a third. But the plant was saved.
In addition, we have coke contracts with Donetskstal. Today, they have almost completely deployed the Yasinovsky Coke Plant in our direction, supplying us with almost their entire production volume. We are looking at who else we can negotiate with, including in Russia. And also look at the possibility of importing coke from Colombia and China. [...] Unfortunately, the most difficult situation is in Krasnodonugl, which is located on the territory of the so-called LPR. A few days ago, a man died there as a result of a shell not far from the mine control. In addition, the Lugansk part of the railroads practically does not work, there is a problem with energy supply, therefore there is no transport connection with this association. Shipment of products from Krasnodonugol is not conducted, the company operates in a warehouse. But local experts are restoring a route that has not been used for more than 10 years, and we expect to start exporting products from Krasnodonugol in the coming week.
That is, the company still works, no matter what. Stocks are accumulating, and in parallel with the war, ways to export products are being restored.

    20 August 2014 18: 50
And here is the most interesting: how logistics works and what about export. Was it covered due to war or not? Does New Ukraine Make Money?
[...] We faced very serious problems in logistics, in particular, on the railway. The railway operates somewhere at 40-50% of normal operation. The work of the Debaltseve railway station has not been restored, and the Yasinovataya station is operating in very difficult conditions. But it is one of the key stations of the Donetsk railway and Ukraine as a whole. We have to change the balance of supplies of raw materials, export of finished products, and in some cases reduce the turnover of our enterprises.
Today we are considering options for marine logistics. Several ships with coke have already entered the port of Mariupol to ensure the operation of our plants in Mariupol. Also, by sea, we see the possibility of ensuring the supply of sinter ore and iron ore concentrate. For example, iron ore concentrate is sent from Krivoy Rog to the Yuzhny port in Illichivsk, and there it is loaded onto ships and transported to Mariupol.
Sinter ore from the Kryvyi Rih iron ore plant and Yakovlevsky GOK is delivered to Berdyansk, where it is loaded onto small-tonnage ships and also delivered to Mariupol, because the railway line between Berdyansk and Mariupol can not withstand the necessary loads. There are long-distance deliveries, for example, coking coal, which we transport from the USA to the Yuzhny port, where we reload onto smaller vessels capable of entering the Mariupol port.
Thus, since the Sea of Azov is not closed to shipping, to ensure the operation of enterprises, Ukrainian vessels massively go back and forth through the Kerch Strait, now fully controlled by Russia.
Oh yes - and about export:
[...] Export deliveries are proceeding as usual. The lion's share of iron ore raw materials (iron ore) to Europe goes through the port of Yuzhny, a little less - by rail. Metal products are shipped from Mariupol Sea Port. Zaporizhstal ships at its place through the Zaporizhzhya river port, and further through the Black Sea to Europe. Another part of the production goes through Odessa, Nikolaev ports, but there is not much.
We have decided so far not to consider losses. Our task is to preserve production and enterprises. We see that it is possible. When we summarize the month, quarterly, then we will see what is happening there.
So the foreign exchange earnings are going as they were. It is clear in what bins. Only smaller than before - because of the war you have to dodge logistics.

[...] Military operations in eastern Ukraine have been going on since the end of April, but until mid-July Akhmetov’s companies did not report a forced stoppage of production or significant damage to equipment. Steel production at Metinvest's plants decreased by 8% to 5,8 million tons over half a year, iron ore concentrate production by 3%, and coking concentrate by 21%, the company said. At the same time, in general, Ukrainian enterprises reduced steel production over 6 months by 6% to 15,5 million tons (Dnepropetrovsk), the output of total rolled products decreased by 7% in six months - to 13,590 million tons, pig iron - by 1%, to 14,364 million tons (link)
And a little about the enterprises of the Akhmetov group - those that are located on the territory of the DPR / LPR are highlighted, and those that were in this territory, but lost during the retreats and are now again controlled by "Ukraine", are marked out:

why almost immediately ZOMBIES ... despite the zombies, many do not give in and do not watch telly.
What did he say that? All right. Hydroelectric power stations and nuclear power plants are pulling even metallurgy (convection ovens)
TPP on gas / coal. Options are quite possible (RF / Poland)
A fuel rod is not yet needed. And the TEVL company itself does not intend to leave the Ukrainian market (I recently gave an article about this) Westigauz can replace it, but TEVL has better conditions. Ukraine holds on to TEVL. Alternatives only to improve the terms of contracts with the Russians.
      What's your "they're all zombies"?
He had not yet said that the main consumer of Russian gas was disconnected, and he was disconnected not only from Russian (chemistry / metallurgy partially in the east) but also from Ukrainian (heating infrastructure was damaged)
In fact, if earlier the need was needed, 80% of the total number grew. of gas, now being 20-25% of Ukrainian gas is growing into 40% of the total ... But in general chemistry and metallurgy will be cut off so much at 60% or more ..
In my opinion, you biasedly accused Kryvyi Rih of "zombie" and, incidentally, inspired lies about all Ukrainians!
