The poisonous fruits of western politics
The events in Syria today cannot be viewed separately from what is happening in neighboring countries, since they have one enemy. Therefore, the peoples of these countries are compelled to defend themselves against it, despite all past disagreements.
A good example in the joint fight against terrorism this week was demonstrated, in particular, by the Kurds. Self-defense detachments, which include both the Syrian and Iraqi representatives of this people, resisted attacks by the terrorist organization Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant in the city of Rabia, located in Iraq near the Syrian border. Kurdish militia destroyed dozens of ISIS militants, as well as a tank and armored vehicles captured by terrorists. Among the most important tasks of Iraqi and Syrian Kurds is to free the city of Sinjar from terrorists.
7 August, a series of terrorist attacks took place in Baghdad. At first 30 died from the explosions, then another one that killed 14 lives thundered. About a hundred civilians were injured. The performers are the same ones that have been tormenting the people of Syria for more than three years.
The UN Security Council held a special meeting on the situation in the Middle East. It was convened at the initiative of France, which, as if having come to its senses, decided to oppose the terrorists. All members of the UN Security Council called for support of the government and people of Iraq.
And here an important question arises: why even the most bloody terrorist attacks in Syria did not contribute to the convening of meetings of the UN Security Council? Why did not the SAR, suffering from the very same terrorism, receive from the world community support in its most difficult struggle against this most dangerous phenomenon?
If the UN Security Council had exactly the same agreement on the issue of combating terrorism in Syria, if some key players on the world stage would not supply Syrian militants with money, weapons, equipment and other benefits, if they did not provide information support to gangsters, intelligence information would not be passed on to them, they would not be trained by NATO instructors, the situation in the region would be completely different, and the victims of the terrible terrorist attacks in Iraq would not have to mourn.
But the reality is that the Iraqi government is still “lucky” - it has not yet been given a “black mark”. True, some US and Western politicians called on Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki to resign, but this is in no way compared to the insistent, ultimatum demands put forward by Syria and its leadership. The SAR was unconditionally declared an “outcast state”, in the fight against which all means are good, including the support of outspoken scumbags fighting the Damascus. The Syrian army not only did not receive moral support from the UN, but, on the contrary, was subjected to all sorts of attacks, and its fight against terrorism was not recognized by the West and its allies. These forces did everything possible so that by the hands of anyone - “moderate” or “radical” militants - to inflict the greatest losses on the Syrian military personnel. Now the poisoned fruits of such a policy have ripened, and all international players are now feeling their bitter taste. But even now, the West is stubbornly unwilling to admit its mistakes (more precisely, crimes).
As you know, Turkey is one of the main allies of the United States in the fight against Syria. Erdogan's regime is directly involved in the growing influence of ISIL. As the Turkish newspaper Hurriet reported, the militants from this country make up 10% of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, and the Erdogan regime did everything possible to strengthen this terrorist organization. In particular, according to the publication, the Erdoganov special services arranged special training camps for ISIL terrorists.
France has also made a major contribution to supporting terrorism in the Middle East, which today is compelled to call for the convening of UN meetings to combat this very terrorism. Moreover, it began not even from Syria, but from Libya, where it was Paris that became the main “trendsetter”. Then went the chain reaction, which led to the current deplorable situation.
Now France wants to play the role of benefactress. The foreign minister of this country, Laurent Fabius, and the Minister of the Interior, Bernard Kaznev, made a statement about the plight of Christians in the Middle East region, especially in Iraq and Syria. They expressed their readiness to accept Christian refugees from these countries on the French territory.
Nothing to say, “touching” care! First, France took an active part in creating the conditions under which such a situation developed that made the lives of these people in their homeland unbearable, and is now ready to show hospitality towards them, turning them into disenfranchised refugees.
On this occasion, the Patriarchate of the Orthodox Church of Antioch and the whole East made a statement saying: “The only home for Christians and Muslims in the region is their home countries, where they have lived side by side with representatives of other religions and faiths for centuries, creating a civilization, which made an important contribution to the world history". And the real help to the peoples of the region is only the cessation of support for extremist groups and a political settlement of the crisis.
In Syria, meanwhile, terror continues against civilians. 7 August militants "opposition" carried out mortar shelling of the area Abbassiin. One of the targets of the attack was a hospital located in the area. Three people were injured. The Yarmuk Palestinian refugee camp was also shelled and suffered extensive material damage. On a highway between Damascus and Homs, near a gas station, one of the passing cars was shot at - his driver was injured.
Not only Syrians are victims of terrorists, but also foreign citizens. It became known about the loss in the city of Aleppo of two Italian girls, volunteers of a humanitarian organization - 21-year-old Vanessa Marzullo and 20-year-old Greta Ramelli. Supposedly, they were abducted by terrorist groups for ransom. This fate has been repeatedly subjected to citizens of Western countries who, believing in the propaganda of the "revolution", tried to provide alleged "suffering insurgents" all kinds of assistance.
Syrians oppose this very pseudo-revolution. In the east of the country in the province of Hasakah in the city of Kamyshly, a mass rally of citizens was held in support of the Syrian army and self-defense forces. Residents of the city warmly thanked the military for the heroic struggle against terrorism. Let me remind you - a few days ago, the administrative center of Hasaka was attacked by ISIS gangs, the attack was repelled by the army and militia.
Very unexpected and touching support came from Russia. 15-year-old girl Mariana Naumova - a Komsomol member, a powerlifting athlete, wrote a letter to the UAR President Bashar al-Assad, expressing a desire to visit the country and see what was happening with her own eyes. Earlier, the girl visited the DPRK as a national “goodwill ambassador”. Thus, she decided to repeat the act of the American schoolgirl Samantha Smith, despite American propaganda, who visited the USSR with a friendly visit. In the near future, Mariana’s visit to Syria is to take place. What is worth all American propaganda, even if people at such a young age have the courage to resist it!
