YUKOS - Russia: give money, give money ...
During the week, a new cycle of the anti-Russian machine was launched with the help of the Arbitration Court in The Hague. The Permanent Chamber of this organization published a paper stating that the Arbitration Court decided to partially satisfy the claim of the former major shareholders of Yukos to the Russian Federation, of which they accuse the state of misappropriating their assets. And the assets of Yukos are, as you know, funds that have passed the Russian tax system through offshore harbors.
The Hague "traffickers", having caught the general anti-Russian war (and where should they go from the "democracy ship"), said that Russia should pay billions of dollars to 50 to the former shareholders of Yukos! Moreover, the assessment of the value of Yukos, which at one time was carried out both by YUKOS itself and by international expert groups, did not go beyond 40 billions of dollars.
Who are these former major shareholders of Yukos? And why now their impressive financial claims to the Russian Federation were so quickly satisfied? Two of them are companies registered in Cyprus: Hulley Enterprises and Yukos Universal Limited, which were part of the Menatep Group of Companies. Another one is the so-called Yukos pension fund Veteran Petroleum Ltd. And the lawsuit was satisfied right now for the reasons already voiced: anti-Russian hysteria in the West should receive fuel in order not to fade - the motto of Washington and its main puppets.
Shareholders of the Russian Federation demanded 114 billions of dollars to demand from the Russian Federation, but the Arbitration Court in The Hague considered that 114 billions of dollars - too much and “limited itself” to fifty - let's say, “for minor expenses” to Khodorkovsky and his partners.
Mikhail Khodorkovsky, on the other hand, said that he had nothing to do with the suit against Russia. They say that all these outsiders started, and right now the Hague court "unexpectedly" supported these third-party personalities. And all Khodorkovsky was believed, because his every word is an example of indisputable truth ... At the same time, Khodorkovsky believes that he can be congratulated on the decision made in The Hague and predicts big problems with long-term transactions with Rosneft and Gazprom, expecting also a European decision human rights courts in the case of "shareholders of Yukos against the Russian Federation." The ECHR makes its verdict on July 31.
With interesting wordings after the arbitration decision, publications of a “belolentochny” sense came out, saying that Russia, they say, lost the process to the shareholders of YUKOS in the Arbitration Court of Arbitration in The Hague. At the same time, the same publications added that the arbitration also accused Russia of violating the so-called Energy Charter, signed by Moscow 23 a year ago. In this regard, questions arise: a) Is Russia involved in this process? b) unless, having signed the Energy Charter mentioned by the Arbitration Tribunal, Russia ratified this charter? The answer to both questions is no!
Then why the hell did this Hague court make its decision? And what are the powers of this court in general in terms of financial proceedings between companies registered in sunny Cyprus, which were evading Russian taxation, and directly the Russian Federation? Perhaps the Arbitration Court with its decisions to go to hell ...
It seems that it is there that the Hague Arbitration will be sent by the Russian side. And he will be sent for the reason that the plaintiffs are going to collect $ 50 billion dollars mainly from Rosneft, which allegedly received the greatest benefit from the recognition of Yukos at the time bankrupt. But no matter how much the plaintiffs, who were accustomed to operate with revenues bypassing the Russian budget at one time, would say that Rosneft is a state-owned company, and therefore its accounts for exactly 50 billions need to be frozen, Rosneft is first of all OJSC . And this company has tens of thousands of private shareholders who, from any third-party decision to freeze the company's assets, will start losing their funds.
As a result, a paradoxical situation: the Arbitration Court of Arbitration in The Hague makes an unreasonable decision to recover 50 billions of dollars from Russia, in effect confirming that Rosneft should deal with “YUKOS” shareholders in the first place to the detriment of their own to shareholders. And what is this solution? On what basis should the ordinary shareholder of Rosneft (and tens of thousands of private equity holders of this company) pay out of their pocket to satisfy the demands of fraudsters who used Western political pressure on Russia?
In this case, the shareholders of Rosneft may well issue Hulley Enterprises, Yukos Universal Limited and Veteran Petroleum Ltd. a return invoice through the same Hague arbitration for the recovery of 50 billion dollars + of one “guilder” for having the Energy Charter was violated, and someone wanted to get rich at the expense of ordinary shareholders of Rosneft. What does the Arbitration Court of The Hague say? So he will simply close his eyes to this potentially possible lawsuit in the light of recent events, because playing on the Russian side today is not in the principles of the progressive Western Themis. Well, since this Themis closes its eyes exclusively selectively, the conclusion is still the same: it must be sent exactly ...
By the way, what about the third case of Yukos? If Mr. Khodorkovsky managed to leave his “native lands” and settle in Europe, where it is more convenient to take a crap on the country, on plundering which he made a fortune, then the released Mr. Lebedev is still in Mother Russia ... And what Platon Leonidovich thinks about 50 billions ? .. It is unlikely that he wants to "shake" another term for himself and that guy ...
Another ex-shareholder of YUKOS, Mr. Nevzlin (hiding in hospitable Israel), offered Rosneft a deal: he (Nevzlin) is ready to reduce financial claims in exchange for the annulment of sentences and the termination of criminal cases against him and in relation to other gentlemen from Yukos. The head of Rosneft, Sechin, who is on a visit to Caracas, responded to this (quote RIA News):
