Ukrainian servicemen hiding on Russian territory are now in Zaporozhye
The fighters of the 51 th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, who crossed the border with Russia last week, are currently in Zaporozhye, reports RIA News with reference to the representative of the Security Council of Ukraine Andrei Lysenko.
Earlier, the head of the press service of the frontier department in the Rostov region said that a group of Ukrainian military in the number of 41 people left their units and with the permission of the militias who had provided the corridor, moved to the territory of Russia "not to fight against their own people." The head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine ordered an internal investigation into this fact.
“Ukrainian military personnel from the 51 th mechanized brigade, who previously crossed the border with the Russian Federation, are now in Zaporozhye. The regional military commissariat confirms this information, but they do not specify exactly how the fighters got to Russia and how they returned to Ukraine. ”
