During the fighting in Lugansk, the fighters of the 12 Slavic Chetnik Detachment "Jovan Shevich" fought surrounded. Three Serbian Chetniks and one Russian wounded.
- We moved to the aid of the encircled unit of the Luhansk People's Army, in order to deliver them ammunition and medicines, since they had wounded. We made our way to them, but the Ukrainian army managed to block us, we stayed surrounded by about 12 hours, but in the morning before dawn we managed to break through. We were bombarded with artillery, as a result of the shelling, one fighter of the Luhansk people's army was killed and one was wounded. We have four wounded, three Chetnik and one Russian, who joined our squad. No one was seriously wounded ... One chetnik was wounded in the head, two in the legs, and the Russian had broken ribs, - one of the Chetniks said in an interview with the Serbian newspaper Pravda.
According to him, the detachment soon returned to the front, where the fighting for the airport continues.
According to the latest information in the squad "Jovan Shevich" 35 volunteers are fighting. Now it is called the Slavic Chetny detachment, since in addition to the Serbs, there are volunteers from other Slavic countries in the detachment.
