The head of state spoke with people and assured them that the authorities are doing everything possible to restore normal life in the city as soon as possible.

Poroshenko announced that 8 July to 17: 00 Kiev time in Slavyansk restored power supply. According to him, repair crews do everything to ensure that the city returned to normal life.
Poroshenko:
We set deadlines for the schools to be restored so that 1 of September could go to school, because going to school is also a symbol of peace.
If we take into account that at this moment no more than one fifth of the population is left in Slavyansk, and three-quarters of women and children are in Russia, then Slavyansk’s children will go to schools for sure and mainly in Russia.
Quote with site of the President of Ukraine:
(Negotiations should be) resumed with the real owners of Donbass: metallurgists, miners, people who today represent the greatest strength, but were clamped by force weapons. (...) who is ready to lay down their arms today, use the future amnesty, who is ready for political dialogue, to choose a new power, to decentralize power, ready that today, finally, peace will come to Donbass.
Is Kiev itself ready for this? Are the "seeds", "lyashki" and other representatives of the Maidan pack ready for this? Are overseas proteges of Poroshenko ready for peace?
The bill introduced to the Verkhovna Rada eloquently testifies to a very peculiar desire to find peace in the Donbas. The bill uses the term "the main weapon of the aggressor - the language." This is the Rada that represents the Russian language, with the help of which Russia allegedly conducts an information and psychological attack on the citizens of Ukraine. Reports about it "Navigator". Does this mean that the Russian Rada is going to finally outlaw the law in Ukraine?
Meanwhile, Poroshenko signed a law on criminal liability for financing separatism (the press service of the head of Ukraine):
According to the law, financing actions committed to change the borders of the territory or state border of Ukraine in violation of the procedure established by the constitution is punishable by imprisonment for a term of three to five years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to two years and with confiscation property. Financing actions committed with the purpose of forcibly changing or overthrowing the constitutional system or seizing state power is punished with imprisonment for a term of five to seven years, with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for up to two years and with confiscation of property.
The key word here is “constitution.” And according to what constitution Ukraine exists today - for the one about which they wiped their feet when Poroshenko came to power?
