I often have to explain that I am not very happy to be a journalist. Today this profession is too discredited. When young guys tell me that they want to become journalists, I explain to them that it will be very difficult as a human being. Today, you can become successful under one condition - you need to lie.I have been exploring crisis phenomena for a long time, many say that I am catastrophic, too pessimistic, but I am voicing what I see. Many colleagues see the same thing and say nothing, for various reasons. People wonder why they do not know much about today's problems, the answer is obvious - because journalism has ceased to be honest, it has even stopped trying to be honest.
It is clear that complete objectivity does not exist, it is an illusion, but the system of presenting information has fundamentally changed. For example, the public of the West does not know about all the events connected with Ukraine. In ignorance even Italian politicians, what can we say about ordinary people.
The Western media provide information in a distorted form or even ignore the blatant facts: in their interpretation, Russia, at the behest of the dictator Putin, occupied all of Ukraine, which wants to be a free and independent state, wants to become a member of the European Union.
I am very worried about the low intellectual level of government leaders. I have seen many times with my own eyes that those who make the most important decisions do not know, do not understand what is being said. Now everyone who comes to power has a very narrow horizons, they think and act in the short historical perspective is wrong. This is not to say that it is only their fault.
No, the political system itself led to such a degeneration. Life is too accelerated, people do not have time for it, they are not able to digest such a huge amount of information in such a short time.
I felt it myself when I was a member of the European Parliament, when you simply do not have time to study some important problem. Politicians used to write books, and now they only publish them under their own name, without making any mental effort to do this.
Now for Ukraine. During the years of independence, the Ukrainian state was led by four presidents, all of whom acted outside the elementary understanding of social duty to their citizens. These are irresponsible people. Kravchuk signed a document about the collapse of a huge country without the slightest idea what he would do next.
Apparently, those gathered in Belovezhskaya Pushcha did not even think about the future at that moment. You see, after the destruction of the USSR, Yeltsin simply sold off Russia — that’s obvious.
His Ukrainian colleagues — Kravchuk, Kuchma, Yushchenko — are no better, they were not independent players, they did not have an opportunity to make decisions, they simply followed instructions from abroad, they are ordinary mercenaries. Ukraine has long been in the hands of the United States. But this vicious system can be destroyed, fresh blood is needed - young people who will not be afraid to take risks.
The fact that they have no experience is good, because all previous experience of politicians of the old formation is negative. Yes, they will be wrong, but they will not surrender the country.
The crisis is growing and opens up huge, global problems that will form the new leaders. The global crisis will call into question all previous norms and rules of life.
The ideas of the twentieth century will not help us cope with this. In the new century there will be another system of crisis phenomena, and in any case new people will be more able to deal with them. In Italy, there is the party of "Five Stars", which not so long ago was founded by the popular comedian Beppe Grillo.
He realized before all the other Italian politicians that the crisis was growing, and was the first to start a large-scale public discussion, raising an army of young guys. To date, the Italian parliament has a 173 deputy and a senator from this party, and the lack of experience has not prevented them from conducting their activities, they very quickly looked into the situation.
Updating is inevitable, sooner or later it will still happen. The total degradation of man occurs throughout the world, and this process did not begin yesterday. There is an incredibly interesting document, The Powell Memo, named after one banker who formulated it in the early seventies of the last century.
The then period was a key moment, it was then in the history of mankind - after the oil crisis, after Nixon’s decision to abandon the pegging of the dollar to gold - a cardinal turn took place, the era of neoliberalism began.
Mostly, they are the global elites — the world capitalist elite: bankers, owners of transnational corporations, creators of the Federal Reserve System, people controlling the central bank of Europe and the United Kingdom — decided to block the emergence of new ideas by establishing tight control over all media where new frames are formed. The fundamental result is a general decline in the intellectual level of people.
The current generation, and we ourselves have become much weaker (in all aspects) than when they made a revolution in mass consciousness. But at the moment of the crisis of this model of life, it becomes possible to stop the process of falling and turn it towards development.
After two or three years, it will be obvious that they did it in Ukraine, the world will surely know what really happened in Odessa. And the coup d'état in Ukraine is only one link in a large chain of events, which is due to the very rapid development of the global financial crisis - the collapse of the capitalist model.
The global elites realized that everything was hanging in the balance and could soon collapse, that an abundance society was over, and the world approached a society of scarcity, in which democracy was impossible. They need to transform the power of a democratic and consumer in the authoritarian and redistributive, because very soon the resources will no longer suffice. The USA, which is on the verge of bankruptcy, is the main conductor of this plan.
They are preparing a big conflict. Everything that is happening in Ukraine now is preparation for a third world war. And their main goal is Russia, because it is the richest country in the world, the most important historical enemy. After Russia, the capitalist elite will take over China. And Ukraine is just a tool! This is the Achilles heel of Russia.
And this time they crossed all imaginable boundaries. To declare Putin a dictator, they had to discredit him, put him in a very difficult position, and for this, extreme measures were used - Nazism.
I recall Brecht’s statement in the 1938 year, “When democracy becomes fascism, it will have the face of America.” And it all comes true before our eyes, America openly uses Nazism.
Everyone knows that they have spent several billion dollars on a “new future for Ukraine that it deserves” - Victoria Nuland's beautiful phrase, but they themselves became fascists.
When Senator McCain goes to "euromaidan" and openly supports the Nazi leaders of Ukraine, he - the most influential person, the candidate for the presidency - is recognized throughout the world that he himself is a Nazi. John Kerry is the same story. The US leadership has openly declared to the world that they are friends of the Nazis. We see the end of Western democracy in Ukraine.
The West, as a place where human rights were once respected, where freedom of choice was respected, principles of separation of powers, ceased to exist.
After two or three years, it will be obvious that they did it in Ukraine, the world will surely know what really happened in Odessa. Three months have passed since the tragedy of the House of Trade Unions, and Europe is already in a difficult position, they have assisted and supported the punishers in every possible way.
But ... one clarification - it was not all of Europe, and Germany in the person of Mrs. Merkel and Foreign Minister Steinmeier, but also there were many dissenters, especially among manufacturers.
Then there was Poland, the Baltic republics. The rest of Europe did not support the coup in Kiev and condemned the punitive actions of the new so-called authorities. On the days of preparing the operation with Maidan, and then during the preparation of the Vilnius documents, no one consulted with Italy, Spain, Greece, Portugal. These solutions were prepared in the kitchen of Brussels under the leadership of the United States.
Maidan is a double blow to Russia and Europe. Why did Obama visit Europe twice in two months? This is an unprecedented case. Previously, he made no more than one trip per year.
He made it clear - refuse Russian gas. Now we will supply you with our shale gas. That is, now Europe for the good of America should pay for everything: the debt of Ukraine; a serious increase in the cost of energy and so on. And for Russia, this means a loss of more than one hundred billion dollars. Such an interesting combination conceived.
But because of this haste, they made some serious mistakes. Such a powerful and frank Russophobia contributed to the revival of the Russian spirit. For the first time after more than twenty years, the Russian people became aware of themselves. This awakening began in the Crimea. Before that, there was nothing, the Russians in Ukraine were silent, they were even silent in Russia, and now they are awake.
They wanted to weaken Putin, and he, on the contrary, left the party even stronger. Of course, they still very seriously can influence the internal situation in Russia, they have the necessary tools for that.
After all, Russia is a capitalist country, all these years Putin himself led the country towards the West. When I read the data that Gazprom, Rosneft are half owned by Americans and other foreign investors, of course, they can play on this.
I believe that Russia will be able to defend itself, but it will be difficult. You have to decide on this, it is necessary to decide on cardinal changes.
There are powers that are still quite able to disobey American interests: China and Russia. Russia has a nuclear weapontechnology capable of responding to their technology. There are also other giants: India, Iran, Latin American countries.
Putin realized that reconciliation with the West is impossible, and began to change his team. The weak response of Russia is due to the fact that there is still no adequate environment, it is not yet sufficiently formed.
Putin’s own ideas are in the middle of the road, I think so. There are moments when he gives reason to think that he understood the gravity of the whole situation. He acted superbly when he realized that the interests of Europe and America did not coincide, and he immediately tried to play on this.
He understands that now Russia cannot independently stop the United States. This will only happen if it is possible to separate the opinions of Europeans and Americans, creating a strategic alliance between Europe and Russia. Evil needs to be fought together, attracting partners to your side with the help of new ideas.
