Two civilians wounded on the Russian-Ukrainian border
According to RIA "News", with reference to a representative of the LNR press service, in the area of the Izvarino border checkpoint, a battle began between the Lugansk People’s Republic militia and the National Guard of Ukraine. There is information about two wounded civilians.
“Our militiamen control Izvarino.” We are attacked, trying to knock out. Now there is a battle, ”said the spokesman.
According to him, the Ukrainian security forces use artillery.
Earlier, the head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia, Andrei Belyaninov, said that on Tuesday morning, only a few hours after the ceasefire stopped, units of the National Guard of Ukraine began active hostilities in the vicinity of the Krasnopartizansk-Gukovo and Donetsk-Izvarino checkpoints in the Luhansk region.
At the moment, check points are not working, the paperwork is terminated.
In mid-June, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko announced the cessation of hostilities in the east of the country until June 30. Both sides regularly accused each other of violating the terms of the truce. 1 July Poroshenko said that the fighting resumed. Shortly thereafter, the Ukrainian security forces attacked the centers of Kramatorsk and Slavyansk, as well as the villages of Nikolaevka and Semenovka and the city of Yampol in the territory of the Krasnolimansky district.
