Valery Bolotov confirmed that the militia shot down Il-76
According to the Lifenews, the head of the Lugansk People’s Republic, Valeriy Bolotov, confirmed at a recent press conference that it was the militia that shot down the Il-76 aircraft, on board of which were Ukrainian soldiers.
“This event was a good reason to untie the hands for the aggression of the fascist junta. And they showed themselves in all their glory yesterday in Kiev during an attack on the Russian embassy, he said. “Why does the West pay attention to the death of the Ukrainian military and do not pay attention to the fact that the Ukrainian army is killing civilians, to the facts of the use of phosphorus bombs in Slavyansk?”
According to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, on the night of June 14, an IL-76 aircraft was brought down from a large-caliber machine gun and anti-aircraft machine when landing at the airport of Lugansk, which was carrying personnel to rotate. On board were equipment, food, equipment and military personnel.
According to Bolotov, now the Ukrainian security services "will not stop until they clear the population of Lugansk".
Additionally, "RT in Russian" reports that part of the Ukrainian military blocked at the airport of Lugansk is ready for surrender negotiations. According to the press secretary of the Ministry of Defense of the LPR, Alexei Toporov, at the moment there are several military units. Dnepropetrovsk is ready to conduct negotiations, while Lviv is going to continue resistance.
Toporov also said that during the operation of the Ukrainian security forces in the area of the village of Happiness many civilians were killed. According to him, the military shot at all those suspected of involvement in the forces of local self-defense.
"I think that the main victims of Happiness aggression are civilians themselves," said the representative of the LC. “To date, there are about a hundred dead, and of these 80 percent, the majority are civilians.”
