In the Dnipropetrovsk region detained reporters of the TV channel "Star"
Before the detention, the correspondent Davydov and the sound engineer Konashenkov went to the airport of the city of Dnepropetrovsk for departure by a direct flight of Aeroflot to Moscow to 17: 05 local time (18: 05 Moscow time). The journalists entered the territory of Ukraine officially, having presented their journalistic IDs, their business trip was supposed to end on June 14.
The management of the "Star" managed to get through to the mobile phone of the correspondent, from a conversation with him it became clear that there are unidentified people nearby who speak Ukrainian.
The channel appeals to the President of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine and the Ministry of Justice of the country, demanding the immediate release of journalists.
In Ukraine, the rights of the Russian media continue to be grossly violated, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in connection with the detention of journalists on the Zvezda TV channel.
"On June 10, in the Donetsk region, militants of the so-called National Guard were captured by journalists from the Zvezda TV channel Yevgeny Davydov and Nikita Konashenkov," the foreign ministry said in a statement.
“The Russian side demands from the Ukrainian side to take the necessary measures for the immediate release of Russian journalists,” the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed.
