Russian Navy doesn’t want to take a “Resistant” corvette

62
According to the Nord-news, the Russian Navy refused to accept the “Resistant” corvette, which was built at the Severnaya Verf shipyard in St. Petersburg, due to possible problems with some radio-electronic systems.

The third production corvette “Resistant” was to become part of the Baltic fleet. However, on May 28, the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Vice Admiral Viktor Chirkov refused to sign an act of transfer and acceptance of the ship worth 13 billion rubles.

"The commander-in-chief received information that there were problems with some radio-electronic systems on previous ships. For this reason, the commander-in-chief decided to postpone the signing of the act until the problems are fixed," said a source in the state United Shipbuilding Corporation.

The Corvette "Resistant" is equipped with the latest anti-aircraft missile complex "Polyment-Redut". In 2012, the tests of the air defense missile system had to be canceled due to the fire on the first serial Corvette "Savvy". According to some shipbuilders, problems with the anti-aircraft missile system could be the cause of the refusal of the commander in chief.

It is a common practice, in the course of operation, shortcomings are revealed. After the elimination of the shortcomings, the corvette will be accepted. It’s just that the state acceptance has started working again, and it becomes more difficult for manufacturers to “chemize” it.

Because we expected to coincide with the anniversary date, the BF day. Alas, we still had a dull habit of taking ships on important holidays, showing off pure water of course .... Viktor Viktorovich Admiral is well-mannered, self-possessed, but rudeness (like any self-respecting person) does not accept. And here: sign, yes, sign the crap, which they slip, but it does not work normally. Anyone here, not even the Commander-in-Chief (senior flagship), will howl swearingly. I repeat, there were unclosed comments, and most likely not from the REV, most likely they didn’t manage to bring something to mind. he was told that everything was in order, but it turned out otherwise he was shouting. Absolutely correct position. At 22350 there is no Polyment-Redoubt. Polyment is a shipborne radar (multifunctional!) With a HEADLIGHT! And instead of it there is "Fourke-2". Low-power, and, I suppose, poorly matched with BIUS. This leads to the fact that the reflected signal from the target is insufficient for a semi-active seeker (as on the S-200), therefore its task is to bring the 9M96M missile defense system to D to capture the active seeker of the rocket. By the way, it is 2-channel: AGSN + IK. At short ranges, it rolled, but at the declared 100-120 km it does not roll - there is a breakdown in escort, the missile defense does not go into the target area. The seeker of the rocket is weak, and besides, not all-cruise in relation to the target. In 2012, 3 firings were carried out: 2 from a ship, 1 from a coastal launcher. All unsuccessful. Then passes info: 2.06.14g. successfully fired from "Savvy". I am watching a video. In the foreground is a highly directional radar (telemetry) tracking target parameters. In fact, it is the "spotlight" of the "Hurricane". And what is a target rocket? Yes, all the same "Termit" (modernized P-15) with EPR of the order of 2m sq. And at Spear ?, yes, without backlight? And I felt somehow melancholy. And then there was information about BIUS arrived in time ...
But another is alarming. SAM 9M96 and 9M100 are the basis of the S-400 and Reduta. The frigate of Project 22350 costs 400 million dollars. Their "Severnaya Verf" should build 6 units. by 2020. It is necessary to work out the system so that "money down the drain", as with "beer without vodka", does not work. IMHO.

Corvette "Resistant" is equipped with the latest anti-aircraft missile system "Poliment-Redut"

Dear author, why do you treat reality so freely? There is no "Polyment-Redoubt" on the "Stoic".
The fact is that there is such a thing as the Redut anti-aircraft missile system. So it is installed on the corvette. And this complex is, I'm not afraid of this word, a certain revolution in domestic shipborne air defense systems
Almost all air defense systems that were installed on ships in the USSR and in the Russian Federation were equipped with missiles with radio command or semi-active guidance. Here is the same "calm" on the destroyers of Project 956, for example, or the "Fort" of our missile cruisers - there are missiles in a semi-active seeker. This means that such missiles need a specialized radar to illuminate the target. The complex works like this - a general-purpose radar sees the enemy, the illumination radar takes it for tracking, the beam reflected from the target catches the missile seeker.
But "Redoubt" has a ZUR with an active seeker, i.e. there is a mini-radar in the head of the missile defense system, capable of detecting and capturing an air target itself - this is much more convenient, but there is also a problem - the AGSN is relatively weak and for reliable capture it must be brought to the target by 10-15 kilometers. General purpose radar should perform this task.
As a result, "Redoubt" should work like this - a general-purpose radar sees the target, a rocket is launched, the radar takes the missile out to a distance of 10-15 km at the target, the AGSN is cut in and catches the target and a skiff.
So, specifically for the Redut air defense system, a general-purpose radar was developed - the Polyment. This is a new, modern and very powerful radar, capable of tracking air targets, our launched missiles, adjusting the flight of our own missiles - in general, everything is as it should be in the best houses in London and Paris :) And now the complex of the new radar and the new air defense system is called Polyment-Redoubt "
But for some reason the "redoubt" was perched on a corvette. And on the corvette there is NO "Polyment", there is a general view radar - a weak "Furke", which no one has ever sharpened under the control of a missile defense system. So she can't cope.

Yes, this information has passed for a long time, then, however, other information also passed - that they say they managed to make friends between "redoubt" and "furke", but then immediately there was a feeling that all this was not serious. Well, maybe it will work in some kind of greenhouse conditions, but with any serious opposition to the enemy's electronic warfare, it is unlikely. So I regard the refusal of acceptance as purely positive. Sailors, if something happened, to fight on these ships

With the shitty work of electronics, enemies and analogues of "Khibiny" will not be needed ...

Corvette for such a price with such salaries of workers and engineers? Abolish office plankton threefold and threefold increase the time for theft.

Honestly, they hurried to the Navy with orders for these corvettes. Such ships had to be built yesterday.
X-35 does not inspire confidence, you need a supersonic missile - Onyx or Caliber.
The anti-aircraft gun, represented by 12 launching cells, is not bad in principle, but training launches showed that due to problems with target designation it is not possible to shoot further than 15-20 km, and therefore the whole SAM is represented only by 9M100 missiles (48 of them fit in there).
AK-630 could be replaced by Chestnuts, also on the sides.
There are torpedoes, but no torpedoes (as far as I know).

Whatever one may say, we need a new project, or only build 20385, but it is not "ah" either.

What about us now? Our medveputy have been ruling for 14 years, the military-industrial complex regularly receives money, and at the end ...
    1 TFR project 11540 "Yastreb" - "Yaroslav the Wise", for the Baltic Fleet, laid down in 1988 - commissioned in 2009 (21 years passed from the moment of laying down to delivery to the fleet);

    2 TFR project 11661 for KFL, "Tatarstan" was founded in 1990 - delivered in 2003 (13 years); "Dagestan" was founded in 1991 - commissioned in 2012 (21 years old);

3 TFR of the near sea zone (corvette) of project 20380, for the Baltic Fleet: "Guarding" was laid in 2001 - delivered in 2008 (7 years); "Savvy" was founded in 2003 - commissioned in 2011 (8 years); "Boyky" was founded in 2005 - commissioned in 2013 (8 years). That is, a corvette with a total displacement of 2220 tons has been under construction for 7-8 years. For comparison, a similar corvette Type 056 Jiangdao, with a displacement of 1500-1800 tons, is being built in China for 1-1,5 years.
Another 1 corvette of Project 22380 "Stoyky" - laid down in 2006, which was supposed to be handed over to the fleet this year, turns out again at best for 8 years. In the Far East in 2006 at the Amur plant a corvette "Perfect" was laid down, it has not yet been launched, it is expected to be delivered to the fleet by the end of this year, which is unlikely ...
The larger project 22350 frigate "Admiral Gorshkov", with a displacement of 4500 tons, laid down in 2006, is supposed to be delivered to the fleet this year. However, the AU A-192M has not yet been installed on the ship, at least in the last pictures on May 28 it is not yet installed, although they promised to install it immediately after the New Year.

A similar situation is with the Ivan Gren large landing craft of project 11711, founded back in 2004, which is being built at such a pace that it will enter service only in 2015, and most likely as an armed transport. True, there were reports that it will still be commissioned this year.

The situation with the frigate of Project 11356 is a little better, so the first ship of the Admiral Grigorovich series, laid down in 2010, was launched on March 14 of this year and mooring trials are planned to begin in the fall, but here the project has been worked out, 6 ships were built for the Indians, and it is based on the good old project 1135.

That is, out of 6 large ships, 3 of the largest (Yaroslav the Wise, Dagestan, Tatarstan) were built from the Soviet reserve.

3 IAC project 21630, with a displacement of 500 tons, for CFL "Astrakhan" laid in 2004 - commissioned in 2006 (2 years); Volgodonsk was founded in 2005 - commissioned in 2011 (6 years); "Makhachkala" was founded in 2006 - commissioned in 2012 (6 years).

In the Caspian Sea, the tests of 2 MRK project 21631 "Uglich" (3 years) and "Grad Sviyazhsk" (4 years), with a displacement of 949 tons, are being completed. Ships regularly go to sea for exercises firing the main caliber, nevertheless, they are not included in the fleet? It seems that the adoption of new ships is an extraordinary event, but there is silence in the media. RTOs of a similar project "Veliky Ustyug", laid down in 2011, were launched on May 21 and being completed afloat, it seems, at the end of the year, should be transferred to the fleet (construction period is 3 years).

1 MTSH "Vice-Admiral Zakharyin" of project 02668 "Agat" for the Black Sea Fleet was laid down in 1990 - commissioned in 2008 (18 years old). BT-730 "Alexander Obukhov" of project 12700 "Alexandrite" (laid down on September 22.09.2011, XNUMX) is being prepared for launching in June this year.

      1 RCA of the 12411 project for the Pacific Fleet is laid down in 1992, was commissioned in 2003 (11 years);
6 Project 21980 Grachonok project: 3 for the Black Sea Fleet, 1 for the Baltic Fleet, 1 for the Pacific Fleet, 1 for the KFL (average construction period is 1 year). Another one is being completed for the Pacific Fleet, launched on 29.11.2013/29/XNUMX, allegedly undergoing sea trials and an acceptance procedure by the customer. On the XNUMXth of May, another ship was launched for KFl.

11 DKA: 3 of the 1176 project “Shark” (for the Northern Fleet, Pacific Fleet, Black Sea Fleet); 7 of the 11770 project “Chamois” (3 for CFL, 2 for Baltic Fleet, 1 for Pacific Fleet, 1 for Black Sea Fleet). 1 of the 21820 project "Dugong" (for CFL).
On trials 4 submarines: 2 projects 11770 "Serna" (for KFl) went to the Caspian, 2 projects 21820 "Dugong": "Ivan Kartsov" (for the Pacific Fleet), "Denis Davydov" (for BF or KFl). 2 more submarines of Project 21820 are being completed afloat: Lieutenant Rimsky-Korsakov (launched on 10.04.2014/05.06.2014/XNUMX) and Warrant Officer Lermontov (launched on XNUMX/XNUMX/XNUMX).

Also in France, the CTM NG DSC is being completed afloat for the Mistral UDC.

One special-purpose boat 1 "Raptor" is undergoing trials, 03160 similar boats 2A "Mongoose" are being completed on the water.

        Submarines :
2 SSBNs of project 955 "Borey": For Northern Fleet and Pacific Fleet; "Yuri Dolgoruky" was founded in 1996 - commissioned in 2012 (16 years old); "Alexander Nevsky" - founded in 2004 - commissioned in 2013 (9 years). Both boats are in trial operation. On trials, a submarine of a similar project "Vladimir Monomakh", for the Pacific Fleet, has been built since 2006, if it is handed over this year - 8 years.
1 MPLATRK project 885 "Ash" for SF - put into trial operation. Laid down in the 1993 year, delivered to the fleet in the 2013 year (20 years).
"Severodvinsk" will be accepted into the combat composition of the Russian Navy not earlier than the second half of this year due to incomplete tests of hydroacoustics, navigation, electro-mechanical part, missile complex "Caliber", as well as work to reduce noise in order to bring it to parameters installed in the TTZ.

The next boat of the Kazan project is expected in 2015 (laid down in 2009).
1 diesel-electric submarine of project 677 "Lada" "Saint Petersburg", has been in trial operation for a very long time (almost four years - from 22.04.2010), however, under the St.Andrew flag (first in the Baltic, and since 17.10.2013 - in the Northern Fleet ). Laid down in 1997, commissioned to the fleet in 2010 (13 years old).

arrival of diesel-electric submarines of project 677 "Saint Petersburg" to the Northern Fleet
The boat turned out to be so unsuccessful that in February 2012, the media said that the Navy was abandoning the Lada project, according to Commander-in-Chief Vysotsky:
... the declared technical characteristics of the submarines of the 677 project are not confirmed by tests of the head submarine "St. Petersburg". “In its current form, Lada, the Russian Navy is not needed. We do not need new “brains” with weapons that would sit on the energy of the Second World War. What for? Who needs this? And her operational properties are the same ...

However, the project was not abandoned and it was decided to complete the construction of 2 diesel-electric submarines of the project: Kronstadt (laid down in 2005) and Sevastopol (laid down in 2006)
After the failure with project 677, they were forced to begin construction of diesel-electric submarines of project 636.6, which is a development of project 877, originally intended for export. The first diesel-electric submarine B-261 "Novorossiysk" was laid down in 2010, launched on November 28.11.2013, 27, and on May 237 went to the factory sea trials. expected to be delivered to the fleet in June this year. In the same year, another diesel-electric submarine of the B-21.11.2011 Rostov-on-Don project (laid down on November 26, 262) is expected, the launch of which is scheduled for June 17.08.2012. It seems that the launch of the B-XNUMX "Stary Oskol" is planned for August (laid down on XNUMX).
1 Project 20120 Sarov special-purpose diesel submarine designed for testing new types of weapons and military equipment. Based on the SF. Laid down in 1989, delivered to the fleet in 2008 (19 years old).
1 special purpose nuclear submarine of the 10831 AC-31 project. Based on SF. Laid down in the 1990 year, delivered to the fleet in the 2010 year (20 years).
If this goes on, our Navy will turn into a large testing ground, where substandard products of the USC (OPK) will be endlessly brought to mind, which, like the MPLATRK project 885 "Ash", "Severodvinsk",
        "not ready for combat missions."

That's why Mistral will be better. Firstly, not a fire order of surrender. Second-There is at least someone to make a claim. And our ships are our ships. Here that ships are not theirs. No ship can repeat another. Everything is different. Cables go through different cable channels. And about the equipment, it’s actually nonsense. On one alone. On the other there will be another, on the third third. Standardization and unification is not written about us. Especially if the ship, as usual, was handed over in an emergency. Something was installed when all the equipment was in place, and one bloke (you can’t say any more) wanted to fasten the handle to another place. Well here is a Bulgarian, a drill. Well, it started, by 03-00, after the final assembly and inspection, and then we punched the cable, let’s twist it with insulating tape, and then ... And then a breakdown of insulation in this place and a fire. Swam-know.

It’s good that they are building. Technical problems are being solved. More recently, they didn’t build at all. The fleet was shrinking. Already dissatisfied with the terms. Prices, etc. You quickly get used to the good.
