What truth found in wine Dmitry Medvedev

What truth found in wine Dmitry MedvedevThe initiative of the Russian Prime Minister to declare wine an agricultural product raises many questions

Dmitry Medvedev held a meeting on the development of viticulture in our country and suggested recognizing wine as an agricultural product. According to experts, if the prime minister’s initiative acquires the status of a law, the media will be able to advertise the wine.

As it already happened more than once, a keen public debate immediately began around Medvedev's next idea.

Judging by the debates in various forums, including the KM.RU forum, the prime minister was criticized to the full extent. The opponents' thesis is laconic: wine is alcohol, and wine advertising is an advertisement for alcohol, which will inevitably spur its consumption. In other words, the wine will not be drunk instead of vodka, but with vodka.

The proof of this thesis is given by the example of France, which traditionally drinks wine and at the same time for many years occupied the first places in the spread of cirrhosis of the liver. The situation began to improve only when the state achieved a sharp decline in wine consumption. And our authorities are going to do the exact opposite.

Since the conversation quickly moved from the actual guilt to a wider problem, to the problem of drunkenness, let's try to describe the situation in this area at least with large strokes.

I propose to go straight to the numbers, so as not to drown in the philistine-meaningless reasoning on the topic "we always drank, they drink and they will drink."

So, official statistics say that in Russia in 1959, they drank 5 liters of alcohol per year per capita, that is, including babies, staunch bastards, people who do not drink a single gram of medical considerations, and so on. This is not about the fact that people drink pure alcohol: just the statistics take the entire volume of alcohol, extract a share of alcohol from it and already operate with this generalized figure.

In 1970, this parameter reached 8,3 liters, in 1979 - 10,6. Note that these figures take into account only alcohol, which people bought in stores and whose sales are registered. That is, beyond the statistics, there was moonshine, home brew, liqueurs, cider, wine, stolen alcohol, all sorts of alcohol-containing mixtures, and so on. How much they actually drank is impossible to establish exactly, although expert estimates exist for the 1979 of the year, and they reach the bar in 14 liters. However, this is all the estimates, the reliability of which is doubtful. One thing is clear: the official data on 10,6 liters of alcohol per year is significantly underestimated.

For example, statistics say that in 1993, alcohol consumption fell to 5 liters. However, recalling the era of “Piano” alcohol and Rasputin winking from the vodka label, it is impossible to believe in the authenticity of official data. In those years, the share of the shadow sector was estimated as 9 liters per capita per year, and the total figure obtained in 14 liters looks more plausible.

How are things now? We use the information of the World Health Organization (WHO), not forgetting that WHO experts provide consumption figures, taking into account only people older than 15 years.

So, the picture in liters is as follows:

Russia - 11,12
Germany - 11,21
Britain - 10,26
Australia - 10,27
Czech Republic - 12,69

These data have allowed some experts to argue that we are not so bad. However, official statistics are designed for very naive people. How can you not understand that the manufacturer and the seller have a motive to hide their true pace for tax evasion? In Russia, the control over the financial sphere leaves much to be desired, so the official figures are completely wrong. They are understated, and significantly.

Indirectly, the true extent of the problem can be judged by the mortality statistics, and here is some information for you to think about. Specifically, I cite data for 2008 a year, that is, the eve of the crisis, which means this is still a period of stability.

For 30-70 years of age on 100 000 people, mortality rates are as follows:

Russia - 1172
Pakistan - 998
Romania - 700
Vietnam - 685
Cuba - 476
Finland - 395

However, here mortality from all causes, and not just from alcohol, is calculated, therefore these data are only indirectly related to the subject of our conversation. But, you see, there is something to think about.

Why are we so unfavorable? Is the climate at fault? Cold, ice, lack of sun? Yes, in Russia in this sense, life is not easy, but in Finland the climate is very severe, and the mortality rate is three times lower. We have economic problems? Weak medicine? Yes, and this is true, but is it really better in Romania, Vietnam and Pakistan? We are constantly being told about Cuban poverty. Yes, Cuba is a poor country, but we are inferior to it, and significantly.

Apparently, the case is in the relatively high consumption of unregistered alcohol, which is not included in the statistics. Besides, besides the quantity, the quality of the drunk has no less significance. Who does not know that product quality control in Russia, to put it mildly, leaves much to be desired? This leads to the fact that we everywhere drink counterfeit. Yes, many simply do not know signs of forgery and, buying a surrogate, are not able to reveal that they are the most natural poison.

Let us recall the recent tragic incident in Transbaikalia, when people drank vodka from plastic bottles labeled “Deer”. Then 14 was reported dead, but some time later two more people who were in serious condition died. So, 16 people died, because there was methyl in this “vodka”.

The investigation began, and soon hundreds of bottles of this “Deer” were found among the “underground producers”. Can you imagine how much of this methyl "Deer" was harvested and how many people could he carry to the other world?

The village where the tragedy occurred is called the Red Giant. Here it is - the worst bit of irony stories.

Often, people think like this: “Well, it doesn’t touch me, I don’t buy a bottle for a hundred rubles from some rogues, I drink culturally, not like a bum in a garbage dump ...” Naive illusion! They fake everything that is possible and that they have enough imagination, and no one gives any guarantee. They will sell you a bottle for 3000 rubles, and you will be injured as if they were laden with meth from a mayonnaise jar.

Anyway, “cultural feast” is a myth. Let us recall the old joke: "A wedding without a fight is a waste of money." Alas, there is some truth in it, and this is a holiday, everyone there comes to drink culturally, to congratulate the young, and as a result - a scuffle and drunken grimacing.

In general, alcohol can wait - wait until you are a cultural for a few years to drink a little, but then you can not stop. I know people who buy expensive vodka and wine, do not get drunk before pig squeal and so on. One of my friends drank like that for ten years, and now he is not able to stop. He himself does not notice that he turned into an alcoholic: after all, it seems to him that an alcoholic is certainly a toothless, swollen degradant in a classic dirty t-shirt. Yes, this person is not like that, he has a good job, family and money, but he cannot drink any more. I think if he does not take up the mind, then in ten years it will come to swollen faces, and he will meet his 65 anniversary as an unfortunate elderly man surrounded by children and grandchildren, and a shaky old drunkard ...

In addition, we cultivate degenerative stereotypes of drunkenness. "Traditions" are drunk in the heads, even when people don’t want to, but they are uncomfortable to refuse. And there is always a reason: every day something happens, not to mention public holidays, the New Year, which is celebrated long before December 31, and ends on the tenth day of January.

How many such people in the country, after drinking at work, then go home and maim along the way, or even get hit by a car; how many are drunk and robbed; how many then on the second day you have to go back to work, but already with a hangover, when everything hurts, and so on.

The ancients said: "The truth is in wine." And what is the meaning of this phrase? At first glance, we just have a bunch of words, but in fact there is a sense, and what else. He got drunk and showed his true face. Wine will show what is inside the person. That shows: a respectable person pukes, in the morning - “sick”, no such respect causes him any kind to either the children, or his wife, or his parents ...

In short, all these antics like “I drink culturally, in good company”, “I am a healthy man, a bath-beer” and so on. This is all a lie of the alcoholic mafia, which has driven these shameful stereotypes into people's heads.

It's no secret that the advertiser "sells" not only goods, but also an attractive lifestyle. Associatively associating a brand with what people dream about is the standard propaganda mechanism.

The same fully applies to alcohol. Have we forgotten the 90s when alcohol was advertised at all angles? It seems to be praising a particular brand, but latently the association “drank - and the winner”, “drank - and achieved success”, “did a great job, and now raise the glass” lays to the head. The specific name of the brands will be forgotten, especially since there is often no difference between them, but they will “drink” it.

Did Medvedev hurry to declare wine an agricultural product?

Is Dima to blame for the fact that creatures in Transbaikalia drank vodka from plastic bottles labeled “Deer”? Yes, the fault is before. Government concluded that control mechanisms do not work to prevent methyl poison from entering stores. However, there is a fact and this fact is reinforced concrete - people themselves decided to drink glass from a plastic bottle for 100 rubles. And no Dima, Petit, Vova forced them to do this.

But am I interested in the article the cons put in protest to the initiative of the Bear? But in general, the article is not about this, but about drinking alcohol. Then the drunks were bombarded? Like, we are really cultural drinkers.

D.A.M. Of course, a lot of things are not doing good. But just look at the store shelves. With the exception of Kuban, the southern regions. And the imported goods are expensive, the quality lasts for a month or two. Further ink is poured, checked. Our wines are a worthy product. And last year I look only at our goods.

It appears that I will drink wine from a wine garden, and juices from "identical to natural" flavors and dyes.?.
Onon agricultural products can be found more worthy of application. And advertise them.
It's just that some lobbyists want to take the path of least resistance.

If they care about the health of the nation, then first of all they must introduce control over the quality of alcoholic products, such as in stores. At the same time, they sell alcohol in full, from which villages simply die out. Regarding wine: in our stores you still need to find natural wine. Therefore, it is necessary to introduce the separation of a wine drink and wine. After that it turns out that there is very little wine, basically a 10-12% mixture of alcohol and colored with chemical dyes. In other matters, it’s already known that Dima is clearly not a genius. If that does, it turns out even worse than it was.

Regardless of their political views, any person is a consumer. I drink alcohol, I smoke. However, I did not write about consumption, but about product quality. What, is this bad and what does Yeltsin have to do with it? He did not vote for him, in infancy. Although, in principle, I do not see anything wrong with this, then many voted for him. It’s now that you are all literate in hindsight.

I put a minus in the article only because the author did not check the information that he wrote. At 9 liters per capita, the nation is degenerating. And he is oppressing about 14 liters from 79 years. There would be very few of us. Very few. And searching in in the archives and in history, you can find that before the age of 39 in our country, alcohol was less than 1 liter per capita. And there was a ban on alcohol. During the war, consumption grew so much that 100 grams of people's commissars started and not everyone withstands the nerves in the war. in general, whoever wants to can find out all this himself to analyze, through the archives, to delve into history. and understand that the examples in the article are nonsense. The topic is that the Russian is always drunk. This chip has not been launched by Amers for many years in order to weaken the Russian nation.
you can simply mathematically calculate the income from alcohol, and then the losses from it are both drunken killings and injuries at work on blue, not going to work, marriage in working on blue and so on and so forth. a solid loss for the country

Good wine is God's gift. We must fight not with alcohol, but with lack of culture. The moderate use of alcohol is part of a universal culture. Remember that everything is poison, and everything is medicine, only the dose is important.
As for Medvedev's initiatives, this is another reason to laugh at the incompetence of an iPhone puffing out cheeks.

Mostly yes. But this collision, I affirm, as an old alcoholic, is in place. Russians drink no less, no more than everyone else :-) .. drink mostly strong ... which is not caused by tradition, but simply by cold climatic conditions ... unfortunately, they do not drink distillate products, but rectification products. ..this are completely different chemically..and the effects on the brain - yes, there are two big differences here, as a doctor I say and as a drunk .... just the production of vodka is very cheap, our businessmen have no incentive to produce distillates, the question is pure economic .... look, gentlemen, how much is the volume of rum or whiskey, and how much - in ki ... and with it dureesh much faster. In addition, the cost of a bottle of average wine exceeds the price of vodka - in 2-3-4 times .... and yet you expect from a people who are not stupid to drink? As for mortality - well, don’t la la, just the same Finns who love our vodka so much have better medicine at times .... and indeed, the mortality rate when drinking strong drinks is higher. So either to pacify vodka, but it is better to revive the production of distillates, which was poached by the Soviet authorities back in the 20's - but riots and poisonous moonshine will happen, or the wine can be cheapened. It all went with Gorbi. For all his natural * compassion *, having absolutely absolutely right - once again, the only and first reasonable statement ... and finally, how did he get into such a position?

Do you know Dmitry Anatolyevich is right, I remember the Brezhnev era, then people mostly consumed wine and it was somehow calmer, I mean the criminal situation, then I’ve stabbed a state of emergency for the whole city, and now what? They will get drunk on vodka and let's polish it with beer until unconsciousness, and this is an explosive mixture of strong alcohol + carbon dioxide, and wine, which is not fortified especially, is another thing for them to drink. Not everyone has the strength to try.

Well, there will be vineyards, they will forget to plant tomatoes again, I’ll have to support the Turkish tomato producer once again ... yes, I won’t see table grapes either .. again, another producer of table grapes I will support .. When the grape harvest time comes, the table varieties are flying away .. In bad totalitarian times, the local table varieties were sold before the beginning of December .. Now, October is gone .. And there are a lot of vineyards, but mostly wine varieties. . Judging by the situation in the area, those collective farms, state farms .. which now do not work almost and do not grow grapes .. will be resold to wine grape producers ..

I recalled an article from The New Times, 05.12.2011/XNUMX/XNUMX. The source, of course, is doubtful, and the article is old, but not too lazy, I found it. Do not judge strictly, but maybe someone will be interested.
    Kremlin Sommelier http://www.rospres.com/government/9377
... Alcohol business is an important direct income item of the Presidential Administration. “Product Supply Enterprise” - Federal State Unitary Enterprise PPP UD of the President of the Russian Federation represented by the specialized wine terminal “Bakovka”, near Odintsovo, 8 km south-west of the Moscow Ring Road, is responsible for this business. The annual turnover in bottles is at least a million pieces. In rubles - from 50 million and more.
    .....
“Medvedev is a mug! - grumbles the head of the wine warehouse on the territory of the Odintsovo terminal of the same checkpoint - "Product Delivery Enterprises" in Bakovka - and carefully wipes a bottle of good-quality California wine. - He drinks heavy red wine from America, therefore, bags under his eyes all the time. How many times he said, it’s better to switch to cheap Italian wines. Everything for health will be more beneficial. ”
    .....
At the moment when the Czechs ask how the wine from the warehouse in Bakovka gets on the table of the president and the prime minister, the phone rings again. This time at Dmitry.
"There is! Yes sir! - military bone makes itself felt. - Does he take himself or for journalists? To myself. I get it. I’m writing down: one box “Hattrick Professor”, another one - “Hettrick Chardonnay Reserve”. All? We deliver today. ”
Dmitry hangs up and turns to the Czechs: “That's how it (the wine) gets in: they give the command, and we give it a lift.” Laughs: “This was a call from Medvedev. Most often he orders Larionov’s wine, our hockey player. He has his own factories in the States and Australia. The wines are really heavy, but with a good piece of meat - that's what you need. " [...]
“Does Putin have any wine cravings?” “Putin is drinking special Italian wine,” Dmitry opens his display cabinet and removes a bottle from it. - He has a small favorite factory in Sardinia - Soletta. Named in honor of the founder of the brand and the wine house of the same name, Umberto Soletta. This is our complete exclusive: we even write on the label “Supplier - FSUE PPP UD of the President of the Russian Federation”. This wine is rare, controlled by origin, annually falls into all world ratings of the best wines in the world. ”

Or maybe that's what it was intended? Against the background of such a prime minister, the president looks in a very favorable light ... Although the GDP is unlikely to increase his rating this way. Without him, everything is all right with the rating, and with popularity, and with a credit of trust of the Russian people!

An article, not even bullshit, but an unambiguous order of a vodka lobby. Compare elite wine and vodka, compare the consumer of such wine and a drunk drinking a scooter !!!!
To create wine is not a kilogram of sawdust to overtake. Here are the soul and labor of hundreds of people. These are centuries-old traditions and technologies and the giant work of breeders.
And it’s also important: by and large, winemaking in Crimea is the only one in Russia. And it already exists, is already working. It does not need to be created from scratch.
And this ... afftor Dmitriy Zykin. Uniquely scribbled an order.
Come to the Crimea. Go to the tasting rooms. Buy wine in the company stores. And only in the company stores !!! Everything else is rubbish. Especially what they sell on the embankments and other left outlets. And more. 99% of what they sell in Russia, under the brand name of Massandra and Magarach-fake. Yes, by the way. Most of the wine, from Bulgaria, etc., and especially in tetrapacks, diluted chemistry.

In the USSR, on every pack of cigarettes "Food Industry" was listed. So what? And the real need for alcohol for a healthy adult is 30-50 liters per year. We are the people of the north. laughing Making good wine is more an art than an agricultural product. Agricultural products - grapes. Something like this.

High mortality in Russia - from the hopeless idiocy of life. Begin to cost life in a state of conscience, i.e. without the unbridled theft of government officials and unscrupulous, arrogant lies to the people, and mortality (and drunkenness) will immediately go down!

Yes, there’s still a need to figure out what DAM calls wine ... What he drinks is one thing, but in stores it’s completely different. Fine wine was produced in our southern regions, now under the same brand name they are made from Bulgarian powder. And this burda is wine ?!

Damn, the government has nothing else to do? It can be seen that they do not pull for more, so they try to show their "activity" by little things. At first, counterfeits and poison would have been removed from the shelves, but they would have made sure that the people ate quality products.

Does the prime minister have no other thoughts?
For example, how to revive industrial production, first of all, machine tool building and instrument making ...
Or will Skolkovo plug all the holes?

Once again I was convinced that this "miracle" is this Medvedev! This generation of state managers that remained from Yeltsin is a terrible, insatiable and ruthless evil.
Not in the subject, but characterizes. In retaliation for the case against Serdyukov, Medvedev's "team" gave the go-ahead for "lawlessness" against some of the Interior Ministry officers. Even if they are not without sin, they are told to their faces - you will sit, even if we find nothing! Fine?! one had 4 skull fractures during the interrogation period! And what is interesting, one of the "defendants" is a relative of a high rank in the apparatus of the President of the Russian Federation, but this does not help, for he has given himself "testimony". Seems crazy? But, alas, so. And in appearance - just Dimon, right?

Need legalization of hemp smoking! Compared to alcohol and tobacco, it can be called absolutely harmless to health, not to mention the dark side of alcohol as aggression, leading to a huge number of domestic killings. Equalizing cannabis with narcotic drugs was lobbied by US alcohol moguls and was also linked to the CIA’s plan to undermine the USSR’s agriculture, since until the 50s, sowing hemp was the second largest export of agricultural crops by the Soviet Union after wheat, i.e. just like oil is now, and by signing the UN charter on recognizing cannabis as a narcotic drug and banning the cultivation of hemp, the USSR suffered enormous economic losses. And now when there is no need to fight the USSR, and the harm from drinking alcohol and the economic costs of this have become obvious to the US authorities, they have begun legalizing smoking marijuana in one state after another.

I think that Medvedev had in mind WINE, real wine, and not a mumbler from the waste of fruit and vegetable production crushed by a bulozer, flavored with industrial alcohol. If so, why not? Real wine has not hurt anyone yet, if only because it is a natural product. As for soldering the country, be afraid of God, is the country drinking real wine? It cannot cost so much that any alcoholic can afford. Manufacturing technology and cost will not allow. It’s another matter that any solvent mixed with dyes and some smelly essence is given out for wine. This in no way can be considered agricultural products, it is a product of the chemical industry.

From time immemorial, France has considered wine an agricultural product. Winemaking is a national business there. So what? The French did not die out, did not completely degrade. In because they make wine, not chatters.

An alcoholic will not understand your appeal for cultural drink. The average consumer already believes that he drinks culturally. Your call for involving youth in this muck.

Dear forum users, the first thing that surprised me was the relatively small number of comments to the article. I thought. that their number will go off scale in comparison even with the number of comments on the proposal to hang Serdyukov and Obama. In my opinion, this suggests that the culture of drinking in the country is improving, drinking has become less, and, accordingly, the problem does not so much offend the electorate. I really want to upset. Having worked for a certain time in the alcoholic sphere, I can firmly state that there is practically no wine and cognac on sale in Russia. Neither of their own nor imported. And what is, does not correspond at all to those loud names that are written on the labels. Do you think that the one who stole many millions becomes a subtle connoisseur of their number, or that an elite restaurateur, knowing such a "connoisseur", will not palm off on him a sylvaner of their Khacepetovka instead of a chateau-ikem of the 16th shaggy harvest. Then you don't understand anything about Russian business. I am not even talking about ordinary workers. It's good if the cognac is made from corn alcohol, or maybe from wood-shaving. The state monopoly on strong alcohol is the only way to reduce the amount of counterfeit, but then what will the department do. on which the next "nestling of Petrov's nest" has been placed.

    I put the article "-".
For a wild mixture of objective data and subjectivity. If the author does not trust the official statistics of alcohol producers in Russia, then he does not have the right to trust the official statistics provided by the government of Pakistan. If everyone lies, then everyone lies.

In addition, the law on advertising uses the term "alcoholic beverages", which is defined in our legislation as "... food products, ... with an ethyl alcohol content of more than 0,5 percent of the volume of finished products"

So the attempts to advertise the wine will last until the first trial and the fine.
