Journalists RT and LifeNews awarded Orders of courage

22
According to the information agency "Vesti", referring to the Kremlin’s website, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree awarding journalists of Russia Today and LifeNews TV channels Fyodor Zavaleykov, Oleg Sidyakin and Marat Saychenko with Orders of courage "for courage and bravery shown in the performance of professional duty."

It is worth recalling that 9 in May was a freelance correspondent for Russia Today TV channel Fyodor Zavaleykov received a heavy gunshot wound to the abdominal cavity during a shootout in Mariupol. Negotiations on the delivery of the wounded to Moscow went on for three days, but the Ukrainian side refused to evacuate from the nearest airport, and the correspondent had to be taken to Donetsk by ambulance.

And 18 May Ukrainian military detained journalists LifeNews Oleg Sidyakin and Marat Saychenko in the area of Kramatorsk. Later, they were charged with promoting terrorism. On the night of 26 in May, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, who participated in the negotiations for their release, said that the journalists had been released. They were taken by plane first to Grozny and then to Moscow.

I do not agree with you, but I will not put a minus, after all, this is a state award, and can in no way be called a "badge".

Of course - this is the state. a reward, but I have a question - why only them? For example, two journalists of "Russia 24" are still there, and from the very first days without leaving, they were reporting straight from the front line. Why not reward them too? And these awardees are victims of circumstances.

Few facts, two journalists worked in Kramatorsk almost close to the forces of the Nat. guard, and if you remember the shooting of helicopters with UN symbols, which caused a resonance in the world media, although the excuse was stupid, they found that it was happening in the Republic of Congo, and so on. After these filming, they took the authors of two LifeNews journalists, since it was an ordinary hostage-taking, well, these are not terrorists "Kiev authorities" who take journalists hostage, then for their courage and professionalism, almost on the verge of death, the journalists did their duty and returned alive, that's what I think the Order is for. The journalists themselves do not believe that they directly deserve the Order, they were fulfilling their professional duty, but the decision of the President of the Russian Federation is his decision.

here it is (the decision) and gives people a reason to regard his actions as "handing out badges by handfuls" ... however, this circumstance, apparently, has not been "annoying" for a long time ...

I put it with overclocking. It doesn't matter who and how covers the events. It is important in what conditions. And judging by everything they got. Are the hockey players "big" heroes?

In principle, he wrote correctly - the entire system of state awards in the country was compromised - heaps of obscure departmental medals, public organizations began to issue similar ones, orders were awarded right and left, somehow looked Gazmanov’s performance in uniform - there’s no place for chest yet, Yakubovich Zhirinovsky - there, about journalists - I do not quite agree, for the wound - everything is true, as in the Chechen Republic or Afghanistan, but for the other - I have some doubts. PS - about yourself - Afghanistan, Abkhazia, Chechnya, three state awards (except for delivery, I never put it on)

it not should to be such as a matter of fact ... but the award system of the Russian state has long been rotten ... state awards are handed out right and left, just like badges ...

This is for sure .. Why, to whom and why.? Something is not visible on the official sites. Fighters of the invisible front?

"fighter", rather, on distribution ... and it seems that he has no time to delve into such trifles as "why and for what" ... what's the difference "to whom and for what"? ... the process itself is fascinating ... laughing

If I had compiled a list of friends who really deserve this award, then we would have a crowd no less than we have near the Russian consulate. But there is silence about them. When people abroad, at the risk of their health and life, are engaged in saving Russians in distress, they do it completely disinterestedly, I have not heard that this was somehow noted at the state level. Oh well. It’s good that they don’t shit more shit every time, and thanks for that.
That's somehow it is customary with us.

this Putin’s disgusting light from Ivanovo (a fool of a fool, our version of the dog) will also encourage the capital on TV!, an engineer with an UVZ-clap: the president’s plenipotentiary in the Urals is already! and in just one phrase: they say we’ll come to Moscow on tanks if that .. journalists now! Well, they sat in the pit, well, saved them (or bought out?) Order then why give? they made a pancake feat ... and for example, our grandfather on a foundry has worked on his fourth experience hot, he doesn’t have any nichrome certificates! pour! these are our salaries ...

she is not just "tall", she is absolutely undeserved ...
it was not the state who sent the journalists there (to fulfill military, international, or what other duty ... to eliminate the consequences of emergency situations ... to perform other actions involving a risk to life, etc., etc.) they were sent there guide commercial structure, which then screamed heart-rendingly "save our guys!" when the seizure took place ... hostages as hostages ... why was there a state award here? ..

The more often you distribute orders - the "cheaper" they are, inflation, so to speak.

"For courage and bravery shown in the performance of professional duty" not for military merit, so they gave out on the topic, received one bullet, two suffered fear .... all the rules

In order for a soldier to receive the Order of Courage during the Chechen Wars ... it was necessary to really accomplish a feat ... it is not very pleasant to hear such news ... medals for services to the Fatherland of the II degree and without swords would be more than enough.
