"Indian film". The system of military imports from Russia is mired in corruptionThe Indian company Bharati was in a difficult situation - it is not able to provide spare parts for Russian-made military equipment. Russia accuses India that the reason for the large number of accidents of the Russian technology is the low quality of spare parts made in India, India, in turn, accuses Russia of supplying unreliable equipment.

Over the next two decades, Russia may remain the largest supplier of military equipment and equipment, but its inability to provide a rhythmic supply of spare parts forces New Delhi to announce global tenders with the involvement of other states capable of supplying the components of the required nomenclature.

Two months ago, the Indian Air Force turned to other countries that can supply spare parts and special tools for servicing MiG-23 and MiG-29 fighters, Il-76 and An-32 transport aircraft, Mi-17 helicopters and Osa-AK air defense system .

Currently, the Indian Army has submitted requirements for global suppliers to acquire “active defense and countermeasure systems” to equip tanks T-90S (pictured), which face a number of technical problems.

Not being able to produce spare parts for military equipment in the required volumes, India is the largest importer weapons in the world - increasing arms purchases. There are certain reasons that hinder the organization of the production of spare parts. But the main reason is that Indian military imports are in the hands of corrupt individuals. Each foreign trade contract brings them a lot of money, which corrupt officials keep in Swiss banks. According to the Association of Swiss Bankers, more than 80% of numbered accounts belong to Bharati company officials.

Since 1960, India has imported Soviet / Russian weapons worth over 35 billion US dollars, and this has resulted in 60% of the military equipment of the Indian armed forces turned out to be of Russian origin. According to current bilateral cooperation plans, India will purchase Russian weapons and equipment for another 15 billion. The Air Force will increase the number of Su-30MKI fighter jets to 272 units totaling about 12 billion. Further, starting from 2020, India will spend 35 for two decades billion dollars to purchase from the 250 to 300 fifth generation FGFA fighters.

Well, India can, in the same way, try to breed the Russian Federation for discounts. As the Arabs do, announcing their readiness to buy Russian weapons. why not?
