Kiev pushed Luhansk to secession from Ukraine

"The question is: do you support the state independence of the Luhansk region?" - explains the people's governor of the Luhansk region Valery Bolotov.
There are only two possible answers - yes or no. On May 11, at a nationwide referendum, the Luhans will decide whether they will remain with Kiev or go on their own way as part of the new state.
“After what happened in Odessa, Slavyansk and Kramatorsk, no one wants to deal with Kiev,” Valery Bolotov noted.
And the people's governor and all the residents of Lugansk understand that Kiev does not recognize the results of the referendum, and in every possible way will try to prevent them. According to counterintelligence of the army of the southeast, there are already several thousand militants of the Right Sector in the city who enter Lugansk under the guise of innocent people. Fearing provocations and military operations, residents of individual streets and districts begin to build barricades themselves in their homes.
“Yesterday, we gathered with the ten men, and immediately two hundred people came running - women and children. They began to haul bags, women dug the ground, and fell trees on the barricades,” says one of the local residents.
The district forces built an impressive barricade in just one night. But it protects not just a few streets in the private sector, but, in fact, the whole city from the most dangerous direction.
The block post is located on the strategic direction - at the entrance from Kiev. Barricades on the bridge, so that the armored personnel carriers do not get around, since they cannot force the river.
True, the place is the most dangerous. From here, there is a direct road to the southern barricade of the seized SBU. And in the arsenal of local residents - only a few hunting rifles.
"Let's go with bare hands. There are Molotov cocktails. We have a lot of hunters, they will catch up if that. Yes, and self-defense will not give up, if anything, they will come to the rescue," the resident of Luhansk is sure.
While Lugansk is building a defensive ring, it looks like the whole region, an economic blockade is being announced from Kiev. From today, the largest in Ukraine "Privat-Bank" ceased its work in the Luhansk region. It belongs to the oligarch and one of the Maidan’s sponsors, Igor Kolomoisky.
For the financing of the armed coup in Kiev, he was given over the Dnipropetrovsk region and the governor’s seat. All branches of the bank are now closed, I do not operate ATMs, and cards cannot be paid in stores.
"I came to the bank, and they tell me - you are a separatist. I went and bought a St. George ribbon, and now I am a separatist. I was still thinking about how to treat all this, but now everything. After Odessa and Slavyansk, patience is over "- says a resident of Lugansk.
Salary, pension and student - almost a third of the residents of the region have Privat-Bank cards. A week before the referendum, hundreds of thousands of Luhansk residents are left without a livelihood.
