In connection with the situation that is currently evolving around Ukraine, the issue of freedom of speech in the European Union and the United States is becoming increasingly important.
Unfortunately, we have to admit the fact that the right to receive objective information about current events in Ukraine in Europe and the United States is subject to strong censorship. Looking at how information is presented to the public in the West, more and more you begin to understand that the masses of Europe and the USA are being made into a controlled and zombie mass.
Very noteworthy is the attempt to introduce in the US an amendment to the law, according to which the media should, when covering certain events, be guided by the opinion of the State Department. It seems that the White House administration is adopting the methodology of the CPSU Central Committee during the Cold War.
The European Union also does not lag behind the overseas "elder brother." The question of creating a Russian-language television channel, which for the most part should broadcast to Russia and preach "common European and universal human" values, is on the agenda. This is very reminiscent of the time of broadcasting "Voice of America" on the territory of the Soviet Union.
Thus, freedom of speech and the right to receive information are reduced only to the desire to follow the official opinion of the authorities ...
