Warped Memory
To great regret, modern historians (who cannot be called scientists by language) are trying to distort the history and memory of the heroes. Increasingly, those who died on the battlefield or in the torture chambers of the Gestapo are compared to American film heroes: Gastello - kamikaze, Matrosov - samurai, etc. But this is far from the worst, much more dangerous for the future of history - these are attempts to present historical data about exploits completely different. In their desire to rewrite history, our pseudo-scientists went very far.
As an example, we can recall the story of Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya, who, as a member of the sabotage group, participated in the arson attack on houses in the village of Petrishchevo. The eighteen-year-old girl showed real heroism and, despite being left alone, she continued to burn houses and destroy the Nazi soldiers. The girl was caught by one of the policemen, and for several hours she was interrogated by the Gestapo, but, despite all the sophisticated torture that was used on her, except for the name of Tanya, the Nazis did not know anything. Zoe was executed, and within a month her body hung on the gallows with a sign "Pyro". Above her body, the passing divisions of the fascists mocked, the last atrocious, inhuman act was searching for a corpse with knives and cutting off the breast. And now what? Modern historians are trying to prove that Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya is not a war hero at all and did not die at the hands of the fascists, but was killed by peasants whose houses were set on fire. There were even "eyewitnesses" who claim that there were no fascists in the village of Petrishchevo. But, fortunately, there are also people who can confirm the opposite and prove that Zoya is truly a hero and her feat is a model of courage and loyalty to the Motherland.
Many exploits of the Second World War are presented as communist propaganda, which, according to Stalin's plan, should become a kind of symbol for the rest of the people. But if so, then what's wrong with that. After all, all people existed in reality, and their exploits are no less real. Why our historians do not learn from the same Americans who idolize their heroes, and some even specially come up with to show the strength of their army. Remember the same adventures of Rambo, who destroyed thousands of opponents of the United States during military conflicts. So why should the feat Gastello fade due to the fact that he was not the first to perform a ground ram and that after him the 620 man repeated this feat? It was a feat of the Soviet man, who, unlike modern terrorists, which is only mentioned in the media pages (our authors are so keen on depicting committed terrorist acts, that soon we will know everything about their perpetrators, thereby increasing them, let them , but popularity), did not believe in a miraculous rebirth after death, and died for his children to live in a free country.
Yes, it is now fashionable to curse Stalin and the entire era of the USSR, but really, in order to prove that modern millionaire democrats are much better than the previous rulers of a mighty state, it is necessary to blacken the history and the names of the people who created it.
Our historians reached the feat of Panfilov’s heroes. Many people remember the beautiful film “Aty-bats ...”, in which Leonid Bykov played beautifully and in which the fate of 28 heroes who fearlessly stood in the way of the Nazi was shown tanks. So, according to the new version, there were more than a hundred heroes, and not all were killed. But a logical question arises, even if there was a mistake in stating the fact, and even if this mistake was made intentionally, does this really reduce the significance of the feat of the defenders of Moscow who died on the battlefield?
They did not leave Alexander Matrosov alone either, who with his body closed the enemy bunker and thus made it possible for the unit of Soviet soldiers to go on the attack. But how is information about the feat now being presented? It seems that the hero did not commit it, but just a tragic accident occurred. And modern historians regard the personality of Alexander Matrosov himself as a fictional character. But in this case, what to do with a hundred eyewitness accounts, or can they also be called Stalinist propaganda? It is known that the feat of Matrosov was repeated according to different calculations from 200 to 400 people, and all these people are heroes, and no one dares to belittle their contribution to the victory.
Young Guard activists are generally called terrorists. But how people raise a hand to write this, like people who put their heads for us, can be compared with modern extremists. Yes, they fought underground and sabotage, but they fought on their territory for their freedom and destroyed the invaders, who saw us as their future slaves, and now more than sixty years later these heroes are hailed as enemies of society. This is absurd, and this absurd must die in the bud. We must not allow our children and grandchildren to learn history in the presentation of modern historians, who on twenty pages of the textbook describe how Hitler came to power and describe the exploits of our soldiers in one line. Historians for whom Stalin - the enemy, and Churchill and Roosevelt - the main founders of the victory.
