As the newsru.com, in the group “This is Kiev, baby” on Facebook social network there were pictures of the reverse of the officially non-existing award “For the return of Crimea”, where you can see the dates of the operation: February 20 - March 18 2014.
The report contains commentary by historian and journalist Vladimir Prosin: “So much for the“ Crimean people's will ”,“ mass support of the population ”and“ referendum ”, after which the autonomous republic of Crimea entered the Russian Federation”.
Because of the “strange dates,” some Ukrainian media raised the question of the inconsistency between the reality of the statement by Russian President Vladimir Putin that Russia was not preparing to join the Crimea, the decision was made only after the overthrow of Viktor Yanukovych and collecting information about the mood of the inhabitants of the peninsula.
It is worth noting that the edition "Peace and Politics" reported that no official news of the new medal was published. It is possible that the published photos - this is another step in the information war, which has recently been in the Russian-Ukrainian information space.
