53
On April 21, at the test site in Serpukhov, the strategic missile forces of Russia tested the latest mobile robotic-reconnaissance and reconnaissance complex. The complex is a radio-controlled crewless off-road combat vehicle on a tracked chassis. The machine is equipped with the Kord light machine gun tank a Kalashnikov machine gun and a 30 mm easel automatic grenade launcher, reports RT Russian.

These crumbs for special forces in urban environments. In the forest or cross country will not pass due to the small size. They will stumble into the nearest fallen tree, not to mention the broken truck roads.

Still, the main thing in the thick of the battle is a person who is able to make the right decision. But it is better to take it not in the thick, but aside - where the thunder of guns and wounds do not interfere.

The Americans are let out without any reason - and nothing. Paaadum, with a dozen bandyukes, they grabbed three or two unnecessary Arabs from the road ... Or in Afghanistan - well, there’s more weddings, fewer weddings ... they don’t walk in America, so let them fear every bush at home while the American army protects them.
There we have the highlanders at their weddings in Moscow scorching as at home. Just think - well, this turn will fall at the end of the pioneer camp. This is not at their home ...

All this is certainly not bad, but I have one "BUT", who will bring him the ammunition and the cartridges? Or should a soldier carry ammunition under a hail of bullets? And how many soldiers will the company lose while the ammunition is delivered to it?
Although this is all a theory, maybe he has an automatic feed there, but the resource is still not unlimited.

Do we need such mechanisms at all? They are expensive, quite vulnerable to saboteurs, operators are still needed ... It’s better to use, in my opinion, either the traditional armored personnel carrier, infantry fighting vehicles, or, since we are talking about strategic missile forces, stationary, remotely controlled cannon-machine gun systems (author. guns - 23 mm caliber, machine guns - 12,5 mm). Simple, reliable, efficient.

It's not even about compactness, if we assume that you can create several different ones on the same base, then anyway, according to the speed characteristics, a car in a cartoon looks somehow cooler. Because there is visible from the video, there is a weak running, weak software and, as a result, a weak interaction between the computer and control systems. In short, everything is very slow. We must strive for the speed of interaction that in the cartoon, in my opinion it is quite possible.

Science in general and military science, in particular, of course, does not stand still, but “the trouble is that the shoemaker will start to tart pies, and the patty will be the boots”.

During the years of my cadet youth, I had to get acquainted with some “exotic” projects of strategic missiles and what wasn’t there: a strategic missile “sleeping” at the bottom of the sea until the hour “X”, an air cushion launcher ICBM, a refueling unit with an intricate shape for SRT, individual structural elements of the rocket engine and solid propellant rocket engine, in a word from outright stupidity to clever uselessness.

Once in the troops, I saw that along with the giant "projections", in some aspects of the operation of rocket technology there is no elementary order, and even, roughly speaking, "the horse didn’t lie", and this sometimes led to death, injuries and injuries of personnel, damage to equipment and property, and was not at all explained as a "violation of safety precautions and technological discipline."

The idea of a radio-controlled tank, in one form or another, is not new. Let the universities (civilian and military) are engaged in the implementation of such projects commissioned by the Strategic Missile Forces, where, to put it mildly, they understand more about this.

In my opinion, the Strategic Missile Forces and the East Kazakhstan region missiles should have focused on the operations that the soldier performs directly on the missile system, go from simple to complex and focus on specific issues of operating military and special equipment and equipment in the troops, creating training complexes to ensure trouble-free work of duty shifts, departments and calculations, modern hoisting-and-transport, test-start-up, refueling, technological, auxiliary, equipment, metrological and control-diagnostic support. I can assure readers that there is a wide field for creativity, rationalization and invention.

Once, S.P. Korolev said that in rocket technology everything should be an order of magnitude higher than in aviation. A lot has been done in this regard, but not everywhere and not in everything.

In my opinion it is better to put only CORD and AGS, but with normal ammunition?

    And of course, great!

And is it still interesting that its mobility and cross-country ability are sufficient to accompany mobile complexes, even at short intervals of the route? And are you going to use it as a guard, for example, artillery from sabotage groups in hostilities?
