Medal "For Courage" is made of pure silver. Obverse and reverse medals have a convex bead located around the entire circumference. Medal diameter - 34 mm. At the top of the award on the obverse are three flying aircraft, below them is the inscription "For courage" (all capital letters). The inscription is made in two lines "depressed" letters. The letters of the inscription are covered with red enamel. Also on the obverse in the lower part is an image of a multi-turret tank, which is made in relief. The reverse of the medal is smooth, it contains only the ordinal number of the award.
Through the ear, with the help of a connecting ring, the reward can be attached to a standard pentagonal shoe. The block is covered with a silk gray ribbon 24 mm wide. Along the edges of this moire ribbon are narrow stripes of blue flowers, each 2 wide mm. In special cases and with everyday wear of the award, its miniature copy can be used, and only tape can be worn on uniforms.
