In Simferopol, an unknown sniper shot at self-defense fighters and Ukrainian servicemen. One soldier of the self-defense forces of the Russian-speaking population of Crimea was killed, two more were injured. According to representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, we are talking about provocations.

“Self-defense forces received a signal today to find a group of armed people in a partially populated building in the Kuban street. When implementing measures to verify this signal, the self-defense fighters opened fire, ”a source in the Ministry of Internal Affairs told Kryminform.
“As a result, one soldier was killed, another was wounded. One person from a nearby Ukrainian military unit was also injured. At the same time shooting in both directions was conducted from one point, ”the Interior Ministry reported. The source of Kryminform, noted that the militants used such tactics on the Kiev Maidan when they fired at both policemen and protesters.
The Interior Ministry did not rule out that this provocation was planned, with the aim of causing nervousness and complicate the situation in the day when the agreement was signed on the reunification of the Crimea with Russia.
