Kerry misses the opportunity to receive Russian state awards

51
After yet another threat from representatives of the overseas administration about sanctions against Russia - now about sanctions in the form of a possible expulsion of the Russian Federation from the World Trade Organization - it finally became clear that this same overseas administration was spewing words out of the mouth without the need for their prior deliberation. Apparently, US apparatchiks are seriously convinced that Russia's exclusion from the WTO is a full-fledged anti-Russian economic sanction ... At the same time, in the White House, from the depths of which such a threat came to our country, they were genuinely surprised that in Russia the entire industrial sectors rejoiced at such a perspective. The same John Kerry, did not understand why the Russians clapped their hands upon learning that they were threatened with expulsion from the World Trade Organization. He even rushed, apparently, to the shelf with Dostoevsky and Tolstoy (if there are such books in the library of the American secretary of state), in order to find among these authors a clue to the "secrets of the Russian soul" in relation to various sanctions and threats ...

In general, the threat from the United States about the possible expulsion of Russia from the WTO, because Russia takes its own tough position on the situation in Ukraine, looks really ridiculous. In the non-literary version of the Russian language, as an “analysis” of such American threats, there is an excellent saying, which in a more or less literary version can be represented in the form: “They frightened the hedgehog with a bare back seat”. Mikhail Delyagin talked about this in the program with the entertaining title “Mausoleum for John Kerry”.

So, if the States really give us such a gift and exclude the Russian Federation from the WTO, what will Russia lose? ABOUT! Losses will be "enormous" ... We will not be able to import imported goods (from underwear to machine tools) with minimal duties or in the absence of those, killing our own production. We will not be able to say welcome genetically modified and transgenic agricultural products from Europe, the United States and Asia, which are rushing to the Russian market, poisoning their own population. We can not ... Tears wrapped in my eyes from such a "terrible" perspective ...

If we take into account that today the Ministry of Agriculture is puzzled about where to find funds to subsidize the domestic producer so that its products can at least somehow (at least in the domestic market) compete with the Dutch tomatoes poured into Russia with a significant decrease in import duties even the fly is afraid to sit), Polish apples, Cambodian rice, American beef, such “losses” to the same Ministry of Agriculture, not to mention the domestic agricultural producers, will go only on hand. Let's not forget that one of the “remarkable” WTO requirements for Russia after its accession is the requirement to reduce state support for agricultural production. It is a requirement!

If Russia follows this clause of the agreement with the World Trade Organization, by 2015, the state support in the sector in question should be reduced to a historical minimum history modern Russia (not to mention the comparison with the USSR): the state support of Russian agricultural production is already today in 16 (!) lower than (in relative values) of similar indicators of the year 1989. At the same time, the EU market for Russian agricultural products is closed by a multi-meter customs fence. It’s no joke to say: Russia's import customs duties for some types of European and American products are about 10-12 times lower than import duties from the EU and the USA for goods from Russia. Fair play, do not say anything ...

By the way, isn’t this “fair” game buried numerous productions in different countries of Eastern Europe after their entry into the WTO: Bulgaria, with the most powerful agricultural industry once, “thanks to” the “fair” game of the WTO turned into a country that imports from Holland, attention ... even Bulgarian pepper ... In the same line of exporters (not only in the agricultural sector), which the European Union and the WTO were turned into indebted impassable importers, forced to close production by dozens or even hundreds per year, Romania, Moldova, Slovakia, the Baltic countries and Hungary, and, of course, Ukraine.

In this regard, Ukraine needs to say a few words separately. A vivid example of how the WTO “honestly” works in those countries that are turning into compound feed for the main players who have composed the myth of equal trade, is the Crimea. Since Ukraine entered the World Trade Organization (May 2008), the volume of European and American imports in autonomy has grown more than fourfold! How did this affect local production? ..
The main importers to the territory of Crimea are such countries as Germany, Great Britain, USA, China.
Ferrous metals exports, which provide manufacturing enterprises in Kerch, after the entry of the Crimea, together with Ukraine into the WTO on the European market, fell more than 100 times! Incredible value! In 2009, exports of ferrous metals from the ARC reached 15,5 million dollars, in 2013, exports of the same products amounted to slightly more than 125 thousand dollars ... As they say, feel the difference. However, indicators of imports of ferrous metallurgy products only increased.

Today, more than a hundred and a half enterprises of the metallurgical, chemical, food, tobacco, machine-building, and light industry operate in the Crimea. A special role is played by enterprises engaged in the production of high-quality alcoholic beverages. In Crimea, ship repair factories, enterprises that create high-quality optics work. However, the products and services of the overwhelming majority of these enterprises, after Ukraine joined the WTO, lost all hope of becoming competitive not only in the world, but even in the domestic market. Due to the lack of access to the markets of Europe, many enterprises either cease to exist or are looking for opportunities to enter the markets of the Customs Union.

If the Crimeans in the 16 March referendum vote for joining Russia as a new entity, and if the Russian authorities support this decision, it will favorably affect the development of the competitiveness of autonomous enterprises. The fact is that Russia, when entering the WTO, was able to “bargain” for milder conditions, although they are already yielding negative results for the financial and economic system of the Russian Federation. It turns out that for the West to miss the Crimea is not only a geopolitical, but also an economic failure. Indeed, in this case, the Crimea will have to play by other rules, play through Moscow, and this, as they say, is a completely different story ...

In this regard, the threat to expel Russia from the WTO due to the fact that it (Russia) is firmly in its position on the status of the Crimea, looks just enchanting. That would be the same Kerry from the words about the WTO to the case went ... After that, he could be given the title "For merits to the Fatherland" ...

Kerry misses the opportunity to receive Russian state awards

But Kerry, apparently, fears the possibility of being awarded the Russian state award - administration colleagues will not understand ... On Monday, US Secretary of State 10 in March said:

The US is not imposing sanctions against Russia deliberately in order to be able to conduct a dialogue with a view to de-escalate the crisis in Ukraine
- quotes Kerry ITAR-TASS.

Sorry, John ... Very sorry ...

On August 22, 2012, Russia joined the WTO, in 2013, the economic growth rate decreased significantly, I think there is a direct relationship between these facts. Anyone who expels Russia from the WTO needs to be given a labor hero star, at least.

Well, you can connect the decline in growth in Germany with the fact that the Russian Federation entered the WTO ....
In general, at the moment there is no real fact that the entry into the WTO helped us very much or did much harm, or rather nothing happened on the part of the consumer. And if you look at the statistics of CX, then the question immediately arises, why the hell do we open dozens of hectares of greenhouses, livestock farms and more and more grain is exported when in the same 1989 year (the article says about it) on the tables there was no meat or sausage, and the bread was made to a substantial proportion of imported grain, which the USSR was not shy about importing.

So, the idea of the article is correct in that if Kerry and the EU introduce everything that they promise, then they should be given the Order of Merit, but the argumentation is very lame.

Anecdote on the topic of the day.
Kerry came to Africa in one of the tribes.
We sat down all around the fire and everyone had a cup of local beer in hand.
Kerry began: "We, the great country, will introduce you to civilization"
The translator translates, everyone lifts the cups, shout together: “On the tabank!” And drink. Kerry, as a real-life diplomat, naturally drinks with them.
          Kerry further proclaims:
          - We will build you a democracy!
-We will give you free speech!
          - we will arrange for you independent courts and media!
          - we will protect your natural right to abortion!
And after each promise of Kerry, everyone shouted “On the tabank!”, Which genuinely pleased the advanced American.
In general, when it came to juvenile justice, Kerry wanted to get rid of drunk beer. The whole crowd spent it together. And during the process, she also gasped in unison: “Look! What a big man and what is his small tabanka! ”

The WTO, in itself, is neither good nor evil. China, for example, has received great benefits and growth from entry.
For economies like Russia and Ukraine, joining the WTO is another shock therapy session.

Officials put the cart in front of the horse. First we enter the WTO, and then we will wait for the growth of production and export.
No, first you need to make the economy effective at the level of countries - world leaders, and then join.

If, through the media and the Internet, they cried out for a couple of weeks not to buy fruits and vegetables, the horseradish came to know where I think the West would have ached and shut up itself having counted the losses And as patriots we need to support our producer, then our farmers will perk up when they see that their products are in demand So gradually you can squeeze out the import of this poison from our markets by yourself. Only the majority of people will not take this step, as import looks more attractive than our product.

If only Kerry would have moved on from the words about the WTO to the point ...

And then the lack of time themselves. To get into a mess is yes. I would like to briefly recall the history of the triumphant entry. For 18 years they negotiated, making concessions and gifts. At the finish line, offended Georgia, led by the equally offended Mishiko, became an obstacle. The West bent over Misha (Why such participation?) And he surrendered. The path is open. But where? Not a single WTO supporter has made a concrete strong case for joining. Nobody heard opponents of joining. The noted patriot Starikov and his comrades tried to arrange a referendum to "ask the people", but a fair court found some flaws in the signatures and hacked down direct democracy in the bud. The old people were quickly blown away, apparently they explained who needed, what to shoot against the WTO, at the moment is not patriotism. Then everything was very dynamic. The most popular-patriotic EdRo (which had a majority in the Duma not without the help of Churov's magic), minus the irresponsible Khinshtein, plus two eSER, are adopting a law on joining the WTO. Vladimir Vladimirovich (Well, here, the stump is clear, the President was deceived by the Jews, misled by the liberals, pissed off by the whims of the LADY) asserts him. Something like that. Now hope for Kerry.

Even for the sake of this, Russia should decisively intervene in the events in Ukraine! We look forward to Russia's exclusion from the WTO!

And in geopolitics we are great, this is not one day of work, but years and authority, and other illiterate politicians go to school and go to the multiplication table.

Accession to the WTO is a mistake and the result of inertial thinking (belching of the 90s) plus the dominance of liberal economists in the government and near the Kremlin, of course, complete closure of the market is also impossible, but there is usually a third way "No way out? Look for an entrance!"

We have a rather difficult demographic situation, and thanks to the "efforts" of the maydan fascists and their Western masters, it will only improve in Russia, first at the expense of the population of Crimea, and then of those Russian-speaking people who are fleeing the bandit terror of the new deceitful government.
It would be time for Bardak Obama to at least publicly thank, and maybe even give a prize ... The American administration and the US elite, in their pathological hatred of Russia, are ready to carve themselves out like a non-commissioned widow from the comedy of N.V. Gogol!
